This place is quite famous for its Siddu. Uma didi is the first person to introduce Siddu in all of Old Manali. Being the first, she definitely provides the delicious taste

A lot of siddu (local dish) places have come up recently in Old Manali. This one however was the first about a year ago and Uma aunty still makes the best! And she is the nicest host as well.

One of the best Siddu places in Manali. They make it fresh at the time you order and serve it with butter than than ghee and their traditional home made tomato chutney. Worth every bite.

The most authentic place to try the local dish 'Siddu'. It's a must have if anyone is travelling to Manali, HP. Uma didi, the owner of the place is such a charming lady and she cooks absolutely delicious Siddu. Don't miss it.

Read the great reviews on Google about Ms. Uma and her Siddu - the tastiest, most authentic Siddu in Old Manali - and decided to try it for ourselves. Hands down, the best Siddu we ate throughout our 8D7N stay in Manali! Fluffy and moist bun steamed with a very tasty filling of walnuts, peanuts, coriander etc and served with a spicy mint and tomato chutney. Uma is a warm and welcoming lady and we really enjoyed our little sit-down in her peaceful shop overlooking the forest and Manaslu river. Hidden gem in Old Manali.

This cute little corner is filled with warmth. Probably because Uma aunty serves her special Siddu with so much love. It was our second visit here after trying a couple of more outlets. But hands down to the best siddu and not to forget the amazing chutney you get along with it. We specially asked her to make extra chutney for all of us and she did. Wholesome!!!!

This is hands down one of the best place to have Siddu. You’ll love the dish. And adding to that Aunty is really sweet it was amazing to talk with her. Would recommend everyone to try this place and I assure you that you’ll become a repeat customer like me. 😇😇

The siddu here was heavenly. This sweet spot stands on the cool riverside along the hike track. With the mist from the river leaving me slightly nippy, the warm butter-soaked siddu was just the thing I needed. The chutney was equally delicious. Most recommended!

When in Manali, must try local food- Siddu at Mehak store where Auntie prepares very authentic Siddu with walnut stuffing. This is one of the best Siddu I had in Himachal.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and authenticity of the siddu dish, went all the way upto old manali. This steamed dumpling filled with a savory mixture of Walnuts, peanuts and spices is a delight to the taste buds. The dumpling is soft and fluffy, and the filling is well-seasoned, striking the perfect balance between spices and flavors. It pairs excellently with the accompanying mint chutney, which adds a refreshing zing to each bite.

Skip all the other stalls and go here for some authentic local food. The Siddu is highly recommended, I had it straight all my days I stayed there. Didi is the sweetest person you'll meet.

The one place in Manali that serves local cuisine. For the best siddu, the freshest chutney to go with it and to top it all off, you get to chat with Una, who not only cooks it all freshly, but is such a warm and friendly person too. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a true pahadi experience here.

What a lovely place! Uma is a lovely person and has the best Siddu in Manali! She also serves omelet and bread, Magi, coffee and tea. Lovely place to have breakfast without the noise of the main road! We are regulars now 👍🏼👍🏼

The best Siddu on the area! Fresh cooked and the chutney is yum!!! 😍😍😍 Definitely recommended! Better than the ones they’re selling by the road.

Tried their famous Himachal Siddu after a long trek. The flavor of fresh walnut and peanut filling is a must have seasonal delicacy. The owner is a polite cheery woman ready to answer all your himachal culture curiosities. Must visit their shop on your way up the Wildlife Sanctuary.

I can sincerely recommend Mehak General Store. All your necessities are available and the owner prepares delicious food. She greets every one with a big smile and tonight when I accidentally left my new 800 dollar phone on the table she kept it safe until my return. Thank you Uma 🌈🙏😊
