Very beautiful and calm place in mountains. There is a some water fall from mountain creats awasome climate. A very special Shivlinga is here. A bawadi is also there in front of temple. This temple is under a cave.

A scene of Stree movie was shot here. Be aware of monkeys. It is really beautiful also peaceful. Situated on a hillside, the temple is reached by climbing a long flight of stairs from the foot of the hill. Another approach to the temple is the steep flight of stairs which descends from near the fort Kirti Durg.

Jageshwari Mata Temple is one of the major temples of Chanderi. This temple is situated on a high mountain. Apart from the temple of Mata, many other temples and Shivling are worth seeing. Slow water leaks from the mountains above this temple. It is necessary to go here with a little caution because a lot of monkeys bother here.

One of the 52 Shaktipeeths, Jageshwari Devi Temple is an open cave and is dedicated to Goddess Durga who is considered to be Swamyabhu - self-manifested. The murti of Mother Goddess Jageshwari worshipped in the temple is believed to have been the form in which she gave darshan to Shishupal who was an ardent devotee of Goddess Durga. It is therefore believed that the initial temple was built during the Mahabharata period by Shishupal. Certain elements of the current temple were constructed between the 6th and 11th centuries. Chanderi is famous for its hand looms. Saree and Suits. It has numerous archeological sites of medieval period and is also famous for some of the Jain temples including a very tall rock cut statue at Khandgiri. You can also enjoy lovely sunset at Rajghat dam.
