Excellent place amongst serene surroundings of forest . 2km from main Jhargram town. Has well maintained cottage rooms with verandah giving a great view outside. You cannot see any elephants though!!!! The food served is very tasty but a bit pricey. The staffs are very courteous . The only cons are the big repellant - resistant mosquitoes which would prevent you from sitting in the verandah and enjoy the excellent view outside . There are no mosquitoea in the rooms especially if you keep the doors and windows shut and put on the A/ C

The best place to stay in terms of everything.Location, rooms, foods, hospitality etc.Try to book in lots and at least 2 months before your journey. Note: The only cons is that they can cancel your suite without prior notice as per govt clauses all f a sudden. You will get a mail and refund.

One of the best place to stay in Jhargram. The surrounding area is awesome in between the forest this guest house is situated. Rooms are very good big clean. Food is also very good pure homely food. Staffs are all good. Really a good experience to stay here. Moreover driver accommodation is also there.

The stay in Jhargram Prokriti porjoton Kendra was pleasent.. Room was decently beautiful with the required amenties present in the room. Food and service was also good.. They served homely cooked food with prior order.. Options will be limited but taste was good.. Overall good to spend two days in the midst of greenary..

Best location to stay with family & kids in Jhargram. Humble & efficient house staffs. Canteen/kitchen service as well as quality of foods are pretty well. No free breakfast. Room tariff is pretty high in comparison to the standard of cottages.

We simply loved this place, comfortable stay, food is quite nice and will literally feel like home( I found their non veg items more tasty). Nice hospitality, stuff are really great, helpful and polite. If you are finding a place for detoxification and getting out of all the stress you have over the weeks, then search no more, this is the perfect place for your weekend destination.

Just before outside of Jhargram town which is a great++ for this property. If you want to see Rajbari, Kanakdurga Mandir and Zoo along with river it can be done within 3 hours from this location. Depending on your interests. But after all the heavy walking of all different spots you can come and relax in the garden peacefully. Actually you will be able to feel the jungle vibe after 9pm when adjacent traffic of the road is less. Food is good just like homemade with less oil and cooked with love. Am writing this review sitting on a swing in the garden. Only problem one of our room water heater is not working.

Excellent ambience, you can enjoy the silence of nature. Rooms are well maintained, toilets are nice and clean, food is good ( expect typical good quality Bengali cooking). But worth mentioning is be prepared for lot of mosquitoes here, bring repellents.

We spent two nights in the property. Very conveniently located and the ambience is simply awesome!

Really liked the place, very clean. Very well behaved staff. Amenities are basic but good. The only reason I am not giving an overall 5 star is perhaps because I did not like the food preparation, the quality of the ingredients was excellent but the taste was not appealing to me (Others may like it). It is worth going, a good peaceful place in a good location.

he property is spread out over a huge compound of Sal trees amidst the forest before you enter Jhargram town.There are only 6 cottages in the entire compound giving you a lot of space , that can put any 5 star hotel to shame.That is perhaps because this compound also houses a tribal museum that not many visit . The Rooms are very comfortable. And provide good service .

Situated at the best location in Jhargram, amidst lush green Sal forest. Rooms are maintained as new and very clean. Food was great. We ordered for Bengali regular dishes which were very tasteful. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Rooms are average almost like a quarter cluster. The restroom is clean but the bathing part is just for a baby! Service is quite good with very limited food options. The USP of the place is its location and the composite nature of the campus with an interpretation centre for indigenous culture and the pictorial history of the "Hool" - the Santhal Rebellion. More audio-video based material will escalate its objectives.

Huge area surrounded by shaal tree. Main market , hospital are few steps away in case of any emergency. There is a small Children play area. Total 6 rooms are there. One varanda & one big balcony are there in each room. Rooms are well maintained with tv, almirah, geyser. Homely tasty food but choices are less. Breakfast isn’t complementary. Staffs are good & cooperative. Too much mosquitoes are there, so don’t forget to take mosquito repellent. Most important advice - Don’t depend on Google map.

The place is basic but aesthetically done up . The rooms overlook the expanse of sal trees from 2 balconies/ porch on both sides. The manager Arnab is friendly and always available when called. Only 3 men run the resort but provide impeccable service . Food is very affordable and homely .The rooms at 2500 is a steal and any place of this quality , if available can charge double . Excellent location amidst well maintained saal forest. Rooms are good, clean. Staffs are friendly and supportive. Food is good. Colocated with experience center which is a small museum on our tribal history. It covers the heart touching history of Santal Mutiny. Also shows the dress & lifestyle of various tribes.

Online booking alert: 1 star If by any chance your online payment is a failure and money gets deducted they will take atleast 40 days to refund the amount after innumerable followups. Typical govt culture you will notice. Stay and hospitality: 4 star Room service is great. Room condition is decent compared to the tariffs Food taste: 2 star Food is not tasty. Quantity is good. Needs a change of cook for sure Overall experience was not nice especially booking experience and food taste really spoiled the entire experience.
