I am a Texas girl and this is the best Mexican/tex mex type food that I’ve found in Bahrain so far! There is so much attention to presentation and quality, everything was cooked to perfection. I am picky when it comes to ceviche, properly cooked steak and good salsa/guacamole and these exceeded my expectations. Brunch here is such a fun time, even with Covid measures in place! The Mariachi band is lively and elevated the mood overall. I have come here several times and tried other mexican food on the island and this always far surpasses the rest!

Nice Mexican restaurant but definitely on the pricey side. Had the Guacamole, Octopus Civiche, the 6 Taco Platter, Churros, and a bottle of water. The fish taco was outstanding and the Churros were good but the rest were not to my liking. Total bill was BD 52 so pretty expensive for that amount of food. Would recommend if you have the money laying around. Staff were great, friendly and the service was on point.

Try Ceviche Hamachi for appetisers and the Taquiza 6 Pcs .. so yuum For the drinks try the Habanero 👌🏻

Different Mexican restaurant but in a good way. Menu is bit confusing at the beginning but staff are attentive and helpful. Food taste is really good. The Tacos which is the really mexican were just ok especially the chicken. Nice for a bite and good ambience and the live band and great view and surroundings.

We were served by Arian who was very friendly and helped us choose dishes from the menu. The prices are fair considering the wonderful experience you would get here. I used to love this place but visited a while back with a big group and food quality has become very poor. Let me start first with my booking issue, we had a booking at a specific time and then I was forced to change my booking time as per the person speaking he said that they have to follow specific time slots, why didn’t they inform me before? Coming to the food: the guacamole was very average and tasteless, we ordered all types of tacos and they all were extremely salty we couldn’t finish it. Amazing Mexican restaurant with great interior Frida Kahlo decorated walls, loved it all. ,the food is good for this part of the world ,I wish they could add a little spices to the meat so each plate tastes different, we had the beef burrito and the meat taco and the cassedilla meat and all 3 dishes tasted the same, for sweet we had the churros, they were a bit overcooked and dry, hopefully next time will have better luck.

Overall the place is nice. I liked decorations. Stuff is nice. But it's too expensive for the food they serve over there. I didn't like tacos at all. I ordered mocktail and fruits on the stick were rotten. I guess its pricey because it's in ritz carlton.

I gave It 4 stars because I didn’t find the food to be authentic or mind blowing, I’ve had better Mexican food. I would still go back to listen to music and order a few bites, just not a full meal. The band that plays is so incredible with very talented musicians- they deserve more recognition.

We had beautiful experience. We went there for our anniversary. The staff is amazing specially Mr. Phurba . He made us feel special and suggested some best dishes based on our taste. Definitely want to come again.

I would give the restaurant 5 stars for decor and music.Nevertheless, i’ve ordered a mix of different tacos and they were all super bad and what make it much worse is the meat are using tasted bad and not fresh , plus the tacos happened to be so much oily. I came here 2 years ago and the restaurant were serving much better quality of food. I hope they would fix things and realize their downsides

One of the best Latin-American restaurant in Bahrain, interesting dishes, tasty tacos. Good for a dinner as well as for a drink and a snack in the late afternoon, a margarita pitcher and their good salsa and nachos is a perfect aperitivo on the terrace (weather permitting).

We had dinner yesterday here and the ambiance was really nice but the food and service was below expectations. The taco was not fresh and the chicken and beef were not fresh. Overall i am not recommending the food here. Drinks are good.

OK. The service and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the food was just ok. Average really. Good ingredients but really lacking flavour. Expensive for bland food.

We've been 3 times now, and each visit has been great. The setting, food and staff are all top notch. We will definitely go back the next time we're in Manama.

The ambience is great and when the weather is nice it's a nice place to be, live mariachi musicians are the highlight of the restaurant I'd say. The food was not to my taste nor to the family either. Keep in mind that it isn't cheap.

I have recently visited Cantina for a branch, let me tell you, it is one of the best places to spend time with you friend. With all you can eat tacos and Cebishes, it is not to miss. The overall atmosphere is fun, and has a festival feel to it.

This is a wonderfully decorated Mexican oasis in the desert. Their chef has pieced together a menu to make even the most staunch Texan foodies happy. I love the way they present their tacos; it's a part of the grand experience. Sitting outside is the way to go if you have a large group. They're more than accommodating to the guests who want to drink margarita after margarita. Be sure to visit on Taco Tuesdays since their deal is probably the best you can get.

Cantina Kahlo is /was my favorite restaurant in Bahrain for the service , food and all but I now gave it one star because of the management decision to eliminate the outside seating and moving it to that insulting 2x3 outside seating that is confined and Unacceptable ! Even your staff looks unhappy and is unable to smile during service ! Why on earth have you taken that decision? I know that I and many others will chose to go elsewhere because of it! In a small place like Bahrain , you can’t really afford to lose that many customers , you may as well pack up!

The food was amazing as was our server, we visited for a birthday celebration and they treated the birthday boy to some churros. The only negative to our experience was that the glass my friend was drinking out of broke as he picked it up, the entire bottom of the glass fell out spilling a full drink all over his lap. While I understand that things like this happen I expected better compensation, he was only offered a replacement drink, which I think is unacceptable especially from an establishment attached to the Ritz Carlton name.

The attention to detail within their dishes is exceptional! The diced pineapples in their chicken tacos can elevate the flavours! However, the tacos are VERY mexican, the people who don't like strong flavours might not enjoy them. Best Churros I ever had!
