I recently had a stay at the Hilton, and unfortunately, it fell short of the stellar reputation this hotel chain is known for. The primary issue stemmed from the hotel staff's professionalism, or lack thereof, which permeated through different aspects of my experience. On multiple occasions, I found the reception unresponsive when I tried to reach them via phone, which can be frustrating when immediate assistance is needed. Also, it appeared that the valet service was not consistently available. The absence of valet staff at crucial times brought about significant inconvenience, particularly when trying to access my vehicle quickly. In terms of in-house noise levels, the reception area was the main source of disturbance. The staff were often caught chatting loudly, with their laughter and conversation audible all the way up to the 11th floor. This is quite an impressive feat, though not in a positive sense. It's not uncommon to have some background noise in a bustling hotel, but the high-volume exchanges, especially at night, were far from professional and had an impact on the overall comfort of my stay. As for the room, it is fair to say that it could benefit from a modernizing refresh. While Hilton often prides itself on the class and quality of its accommodations, the room I stayed in felt somewhat outdated and lacked the contemporary flair you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, I found the hotel management to be less than cooperative. Addressing guest concerns should be paramount for any hotel, and unfortunately, it seemed like this crucial aspect was overlooked during my stay. I have always held Hilton in high regard, but this experience has prompted me to reconsider. I hope the management takes these issues into account for future guests and ensures that Hilton's reputation for quality and excellent customer service remains untarnished.

Worst experience ever! And I’ve stayed before in low budget motels. Save your money and dignity. There are many better options. Slow check- in process, once checked in and money deducted, I was told the room was not ready and I had to wait in the lobby for one hour. No beverage or apology for the wait. By the way, the arrival was after check in times but it appears they have one cleaning man for the entire hotel. Here is the shock: they informed me after ( not before) the deduction of money that there was a maintenance at the hotel at the 7th floor between 12PM to 8PM which had a lot of noise. Drilling and hammering, it was chaotic. My question is : why would the hotel accept reservations for the floors 6 and 8 given the noise is irritating!

The food quality so poor, unfortunately its hasn't really nice. The service at Big hall underperformed. I don't recommend to be there again. Many hotels have excellent service with same price comparisons with Hilton

Horrible customer service never going to stay here ever again will be reporting every manager to headquarters. Workers here do not care about anyone else unless you are Arab. They are all racists and do not want to help anyone in need. Only the housekeeping and concierge are good people. Reception is full of racists and they hate Americans. Do not go here if you are out of the country. They tried to charge us $400 more than what we booked and they refused to get us a cab. This is the worst hotel ever.

I was very happy with my stay at the Hilton Jeddah. I had some initial issues with my room at the beginning of my stay, but the staff quickly worked to resolve them for me. The property is a gem, and I can't wait to visit again and see the renovations.

Went there to setup in one of their meeting rooms. Everything was very well organized and pristine! The parking area is clean and there are a lot of parking areas. There are a lot of meeting rooms as well. The complimentary snacks and drinks before entering the meeting room were fresh. Took a beautiful picture of the view through a smoking area balcony, you can see a garden with a waterfall. The employees were very nice and informative too. I had a great experience overall.

Awesome service, the staff is always helpful and ready to accommodate any request. Many thanks for Mrs Abeer, the night duty manager for the quick reservation all with a lovely smile. Rooms are super clean and newly renovated with style and function in mind. i slept like a baby. The breakfast at the top floor comes with a breathtaking view. Best value for money.

the welcome is very good, the breakfasts delicious and plentiful. the gym is wonderful ... only downside, the garden furniture on the balconies are made of iron and make a lot of noise when you move them. I recommend

Huge and Royal as it’s name. We start from the team and front office, welcomed, trained and professional. The music, water falls and decoration revert to a huge name in the business and hotels accomodation. View is amazing and you feel the beach sensation from your room. Enjoyed the stay, but the check in was a bit late.

I rated it three because of the excellent service they have; other than this, the hotel is so outdated!! To survive, you must have a universal electric adapter to 🔌 plug your laptop/phone. I had dinner at their restaurant downstairs the food was not great also. However, they have a great Spa, which is surprisingly out of the hotel in the next building. I really enjoyed the massage.

Everything is great, but kids are all over the place and too loud, even in the executive lounge and on the executive floor, they keep running around as if its a playground!! Otherwise, its a great hotel with great sea view rooms..

My husband and I have stayed at The Hilton a few times now and we’ve always had a wonderful stay. The staff are always friendly and happy to help and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The breakfasts have been delicious and there is so much choice. On our most recent visit as Ramadan started we were given our breakfast in our room which was amazing.

Not a bad hotel, but with the ongoing construction, it was too loud for me to enjoy or work. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom a bit dated, it had a nice balcony and in normal circumstances, it would be a nice place to stay. The construction and the power fluctuations I experienced, forced me to go to another hotel.

Rooms are nice due to the view and location . Hotel needs revamping and renovation. It has the best design and unique accessibility to corniche . All this is taken for granted , since the space is not utilized, the outdoor gardens are completely ignored . Regarding the buffet, the food was below average and seafood inedible . The sweets and whole desert section were exceptional.

Rectification after hotel manager contacted me and offered to try and solve this: While trying to enjoy a relaxing stay in the swimming pool after my pedicure a very long yoga class took place. It annoyed me to listen to their constant ongoing instructions. However I minded my own business. Now a member of that yoga class approached my 75 year old mom (also waiting for her nails to dry after pedicure while drinking her tea) and very rudely told her to shut up. We were disturbing her yoga session. The present staff can tell you we were not shouting. We are soft spoken dignified people. To be spoken to in such a disgusting tone of voice shows ill manner and nothing is done to protect your hotel guests so they feel they are in a safe space. Because it is not a safe environment in the women’s swimming pool / spa area I lodged a complaint. This complaint was then taken seriously. I hope it helps future guests to experience all of the hotel in a positive way.

Two stars for the smiling and welcoming reception. But the hotel has so many issues. Wall sockets/electrical outlets are not to the specifications of the Saudi Standards organization. There is only one visible outlet next to the balcony If the lights were off in the room, electricity is cut off from the electrical outlet which is very irritating since i charge my devices overnight while i sleep. The lounge! If you have access to it, the view is stunning but the breakfast lacks variety and options. You have to order certain things which they don’t display in the buffet like cereal, eggs, and drinks. The smoking area is laughable, it’s right next to a kids entertainment room and pool which is ridiculous, immoral and should not be legal. The “lunch” thing that is available in the lounge is not really lunch, literally just snacks. Mini sandwiches. The dinner is between 7:30 pm and 9, but if you arrive at 8:30 and the food is gone, they don’t refill it. And if you complained, they’ll blame you for not being there early. And the entire weekend, the place is surrounded by police cars to “organize traffic” because the hotel keeps on hosting events that causes traffic. This happened throughout my stay at the hotel making it difficult to enter the hotel. *photo attached showing one of the two ways to have access to the hotel grounds blocked by a police car to reroute traffic* What a horrible place I regret ever riyal i paid in this hotel.

Hilton Jeddah hotel is a well maintained but dated hotel. It’s grand with large spacious areas, and water features. The breakfast dining was very good. Rooms and common areas are very clean. Staff are generally friendly however don’t tell you anything about the hotel. They told me about the buffet breakfast and the executive morning and afternoon teas, and that’s it. They didn’t tell me about the restaurant options, the health spa, the beach that was across the road is closed, the private beach that was available to us in Obhar. I guess minor details.

I would never stay at this hotel EVER again the amount of problems I have had here is is unbelievable. the staff doesn’t know anything. When you ask for help it’s like you’re bothering them and they make you go on a wild goose chase. The women’s spa is horrible especially the nail service. the older night manager is the worst. I had a staff member ask me out to dinner which is super inappropriate. And I’ve had other staff make inappropriate comments and questions while delivering things to my room. I’m disgusted. Don’t stay here. they don’t know what they are doing.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. The hotel management has very poor customer service towards guests. Felt strong racism by just being an American. Basically if your a foreigner don’t go here. Needed a cab or Uber and nobody wanted to help us. They literally said try to book another flight. It’s not that easy to just book another international flight. We were trying to leave for a flight three hours before and just because they had a country celebration that meant that nobody could help us. We were told that we should have known about traffic and closures and not being able to get a cab or Uber to the airport. If someone is foreign and traveling overseas how would one know that? The only nice people were the concierge and the cleaning staff. Everyone else was plain rude. As a Hilton Diamond member I will be reporting this to headquarters for each manager who was rude. Absolute chaos at this hotel and lazy staff. Selfish people

Quite and classy .. the location is the best thing about it .. the room is not that big .. just enough for the bed and a seat. Breakfast is decent, and the wide variety of different foods helps a lot. The hotel, however, in my opinion, is more expensive than it should.

The rooms have plumbing problems, and there is continuous maintenance work and constant disturbance to the extent that you cannot rest in your room .. In addition to the mistreatment of staff members when complaining about this issue. I don't recommend it to anyone as the staff has a clear gap in communication and customer service skills.

    - Receptionist behaviour with us was so bad and it influenced our whole stay. - We were asked to wait for the suit to be ready, and that is fine… the problem is that we waited for about 1 hr and the room were ready but the receptionist didn’t bother to tell us until we asked (she informed me earlier that she will call once suit is ready), and not even apologised for such stupid act!! - Receptionist should learn from hotel’s Saudi coffee attendant welcoming the guests. - I don’t think I will return back to this hotel unless I forced

Inside the room , it is acceptable setup . However hotel was doing maintenance in lower floors and it is insanely noisy !!! Hotel informed me at check in about the maintenance but that was too late to do any change and not clear the noise would be so much !!! Moreover, which made it worse reception did not answer the call though the guest service directed me there 2 times but fail to connect We have tried twice to call the duty in charge and finally got her in the call and she promised to check other rooms availability and get back to me ; apparently she didn’t do so !!! Upon checking out next day Tuesday morning , I have provided direct feedback to reception, yet he thought rooms are bad and ignored that staff contributed heavily in my disappointment!!! I am very disappointed with hotel and the way how the manager in charge treating hotel residents!!!

The staff at the reception desk have always been extremely courteous and friendly, and their welcoming attitude immediately sets the tone for the stay. I have always found that the reception staff are efficient in handling check-in procedures, ensuring that guests are quickly settled into their rooms with the minimum of fuss. Importantly, the staff are always willing to offer advice and information about the hotel and its facilities, as well as providing can confidently say that the reception and restaurant staff at the Hilton exemplify the highest standards of warmth, professionalism, and hospitality, making guests feel truly welcome and valued.

I have traveled the world, I never ever seen a bad hotel like Jeddah Hilton, VERY OLD FURNITURE, VERY OLD TOWLS, and flooring. I was not expecting to see all this in a hotel that has a good reputation and location, great views but very old furniture. I am so unhappy to pay the price compared to what I have seen :(((

Amazing hotel. Does not dissapoint. Service was phenominal. Front desk staff were outstanding. Extremely polite and professional. I loved the system of WhatsApp notifications. The location is right on the Corniche and some rooms offer an amazing sea view. My room had a wonderful sea view with a balcony. The scenery was beautiful. I watched the sunset from my balcony. The only issue I had was the electric outlets. There were non near the bed. Only one at the desk for the electric kettle. Other than that my stay was amazing.

Hilton as Hilton define luxury stay with fantastic service, help, facilities and luxury. They make you feel like royalty. Nothing is to much. Clean rooms, hotel and the executive lounge is a pleasure to be. And what a view. I strongly recommend if you are in Jeddah and look for a hotel stay at the Jeddah Hilton. I made a trip to Mecca and Jeddah, in both I booked Hilton hotels through booking.com First, the room in Jeddah was sea view with breakfast, was one of the higher range in price. When I arrived, I found a standard room with a horrible old roof city view room… I have used hundred of hotels before, I want anyone who books in future to notice what these guys are doing. First, Hilton has so many rooms with different pricing to choose, probably they are same rooms and extra charges are just to make you think you are getting a better room. Second, the confirmation email coming from booking does not match the room specs… probably because they know you will not normally take a screen shot of what you were booking. The room itself is with horrible view.. electricity sockets does not even match the equipment they are having in the room such as the water boiler and lamp… many hotels of 3 stars are better!! Horrible non innovated room at a very high fair. Sorrowfully the only solution offered by receptionist was to upgrade me and pay extra money….or wait to get another standard room after 45 minutes. I am still waiting with no solution Last time to use Hilton for sure..

My city view from the room, both night and day was amazing. The host of the hotel were very considerate and accommodating to all of my needs. Anowar Hossain, serviced my room during my stay. He paid great attention to where I placed towels in the room, so my feet would not touch the floor, and replaced them with their carpeting. My room was always freshly stocked and smelling amazing. I drink a lot of tea so he provided plenty of water bottles and tea bags everyday! Breakfast was amazing and the shops were a great convenience!

The hotel is in a strategic location and a great neighbourhood. The view is amazing. I liked the big rooms and balcony. The club is cosy but I think facility can be better. Hotel is very busy. I am glad the hotel is doing some refurbishment. My room has problems with the lock. It did not work and I had to go to reception to renew the key. In the end maintenance came to help after the second visit to reception. Also I recommend the Budget car hire in the lobby. Their rate to airport and pick up is very reasonable.

Jeddah Hilton has been absolutely the best hotel we have stayed in! From the moment we walked in the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was spectacular —very clean, with beautiful decor and a picturesque view of the Red Sea. Breakfast was always amazing with a large variety of food to choose from. The staff at breakfast were the best — friendly and personable. Especially Marvin and Mr. Franz. They made us feel special each day so much so we didn’t want to fly home. The grounds around the hotel were peaceful and so beautiful with flowers, palm trees, and waterfalls. I just can’t say enough about this amazing resort. Better than Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton!! Will stay here again when I return to Jeddah!!

Great location by the water. Views are amazing. They were renovating when we stayed in Jan 2022. The problem is not with the hotel per se. The issue with the loud noise outside on weekends. And we were unlucky with loud children next room yelling till 5 am. People are so spoiled. Would not stay here next time.

Excellent, quiet and comfortable hotel. Staff were welcoming. I recommend staying on a floor with lounge access: they provide breakfast as well as afternoon and evening meals. Do not use the ATM in the lobby. This is owned and operated by an external entity, so when it steals your bank card, you are SOL.

This location has a beautiful view of the Red Sea! The rooms and staff are amazing. Al Safina Restaurant has superb food and options. The view from the executive lounge is spectacular and the selections of food and beverages are fantastic. If you're in Jeddah, I highly recommend this hotel!

If you are looking for a quality sleep, this place will be the worst ever place; staff conversations , maintenance work without even a single note, they tried to open the connecting door while sleeping! Air condition: is noisy, air quality makes you sneezing Staff; are not cooperative, rarely pick up the phone, you have to call at least two operator to reach to reception

The team are welcoming and cooperative, generous and so kind. We have booked through a broker, but due to the unavailability of the booked rooms, the receptionist (wael alyamani) was very caring and cooperative, he spent and effort to offered similar rooms. The roomed very clean and neat. Service is beyond excellent as usual. I am a regular visitor of Helton of Meccah and Jeddah. Thanks to all team. God bless you

In my arrival I was fortunate to met a nice lady named Ashwag Al-Qahtani. She handled my check-In. A very welcoming person. ”well done Hilton for recruiting such a talent”. Room is very nice. The sea view is a good choice. Friday lunch is outstanding their management and staff are exceptional.

I'm still a resident at the hotel and I'm Not happy at all. Since I arrived... First, no hot water, the safe not working, then hours of unbelievable disturbance from your maintaince, I come to my room not cleaned, asked for towels at LEAST and waited for 1.5 hours that I had to go down to reception and ask for them myself and STILL I didn't get any so I found a guy in the corridors and took towels from him. How is this a 5 star service?? I'm so disappointed.

It's a hotel with a grand entrance and lobby, in a good location. The rooms are very nice but have a limited amount of UK style electric outlets. The buffet restaurant is excellent. The curved escalators down to the restaurant are a nice touch!
