Amigo is a modern looking restaurant where you can get Burger, Pizza, Mexican food... and a huge selection of alcoholic drinks and cocktails! My friend ordered the Pizza Della casa and I had the Amigo Royale Burger. The Burger tasted amazing! The meat was freshly prepared and even the bread buns for the burger are made by the restaurant! The waitress was really friendly, it didn't took long at all from the order until we had the drinks and the food. I can highly recommend this restaurant and I will eat here again!

The restaurant doesn't accept payment by cards. The food is overpriced to be honest. Both ordered burgers were very salty. In on of them there was a bunch of caramelised onion, although we asked to remove it. Waiter was rude, when we asked to have more napkins, he brought three. Only once we paid, he brought a jar full of napkins.

The kitchen was long closed when we got here, so fortunately we couldn’t order food. The drinks and the desserts were okay but the waitress with glasses were so rude and unpleasant. She seemed liked it pained her to do her job. We told her we speak english and still she was speaking czech. Never coming back!

The food was really tasty. A lot of choices and variety of food too. Unfortunately, payment by card is not possible as many other restaurants in the area. Cash only. The place is spacious too.

We ordered pizza by call, there was no delivery (even though on the internet it was offered), we came to the place and suddenly, waitress said one pizza was 435czk. On the internet it was 255czk in the online menu. There was no sorry from the staff, they just made us pay for the over expensive pizza. Horrible attitude.

Staff and service was good. However Mexican food is far from authentic. Didn't have high expectations either, but the nachos with cheese were served with cold cheese, straight out from the fridge, instead of melted cheese... C'mon guys Also payment is only possible in cash, which is not convenient when the currency isn't Euro for non Czech visitors

If I could give zero stars I would. I am giving one star for the location which is great. The location has been abused obviously and is the only thing this place has to offer. Before we arrived I asked the staff, a waitress with a non-Czech accent, about the opening hours. She gave me an aggressive look and a quick answer. In retrospect, this should have been a warning for me to never return to this awful place. When we arrived to the restaurant, the waitress exercised probably the rudest service I have ever experienced anywhere (any country) ever in my whole life. And I am used to let's say "not so pleasant customer service" from Czechia (because Czechia still doesn't have a European standard of customer service in the hospitality sector) But anyway, this was simply awful and rude even for Czech standards. Waitress unwilling to help with the order or communicate or just you know, do her job? Making faces which makes you feel like "why are you even here" and "why don't you just get out of here". Simply abysmal, offensive and unacceptable. One cannot behave like this in the hospitality business. The customers go to the restaurant for the food and the service, not just the food. If the service is bad, it ruins the whole experience and there is no point going to the restaurant. The service is part of the experience. And the experience in this place was terrible. Maybe most Czech people can ignore the bad service and simply finish their meals and drinks, get out and forget it. Perhaps this is what this restaurant is gaming on. The waiter and bartender, obviously a Czech person, was better behaved, but still more like a typical Czech pub server ("d'ya want one more pint?") rather than a restaurant waiter... at least he was not offensive/rude/annoyed. Right, and you can't pay by card which is unbelievable in 2022. I mean really??? Now, to the food. We had pizzas. Nothing much to comment on apart from the fact that their "pizza" is as far from pizza as it can get. Is it a baked bread with toppings? Yes, it is. Is it a pizza? No, not at all. It resembled a dry pita bread. It had no olive oil in the dough, they used a wrong flour (not 00 Italian or other quality pizza flour), the crust was not raised at edges, it was not properly baked on one side and it was burned on the other, it didn't have enough mozzarella. Shortly, no skill and low quality ingredients. Quite poor for a place that sells itself as a pizza and burger restaurant. Pizza experts - definitely not! You will get a better pizza at Domino's or other average pizza chain. The prices are very high for the service given and food served. You literally pay only for the location and that is just not enough. Actually, it isn't worth the bad experience and mediocre food at all! Go elsewhere. Note: This restaurant seems to be heavily promoted by the local hoteliers, and that's how you get into this trap.

Super friendly and attentive staff. The food are delicious. We tried the ROYAL amigo burger which was wonderful and the supreme nachos for starter is a must! They nailed it 100%. Super good prices, right on the main square. We asked if we could sit outside with our dog, and they would even let us sit inside with him. He also got some water. Best in town. Thank you.

Had a very tasty Rustica pizza here. Good thin crust not soggy in the middle. The garden salad was good too, loaded with veggies. Good service.

A decent restaurant in the historical center of Telč, prices correspond to the locality and the tourist... Wide range of pizzas and "Mexican" dishes. Possibility to sit outside with a view of the square.

A modern place, not too cosy but really OK. The choice of food is OK. Burgers, salads, steaks, Mexican kitchen and pizzas. The preparation is mostly good. Ordering out is possible locally. The staff is nice and helpful. In summer a nice terrace with a beautiful view on the medieval square. If you want a save choice, this is the place in Telc.

The burger was very satisfying, the steak ok but the meat just not good enough for the steak to be very good (not that I'd expect much better at this price point really). We asked for both to be served medium rare and they were, not a bit overcooked, which was nice. Grog was better than I expected.

You had better make sure the foods they gave you were what you had ordered. Maybe you ordered the pork steak but they gave you the rumpsteak. Somebody cannot distinguish them. At this time, hope you are not Hindu or people of other faith who can not eat beef.

The “waitress” with black hair and glasses provided an awful service. She seemed like as she was angry at us because we arrived here, so she must work. She doesn’t speak English, in a city that is full of tourists. That is why she didn’t understand that we ordered two burritos, so one of us got no food. When I told her that we ordered two burritos, which is quite obvious because one of us was sitting without any food, she told me that this is what we ordered and immediately left the restaurant, she went to the empty terrace, without even trying to compensate us. Not to even mention that the coffee latte that she made was full of hot milk, without foam, so of course she had managed to pour it out until she brought it to the table. The food was okay, but avoid this restaurant if you don’t want to ruin your own mood!

The food was nice, but being asked ten times if you are finished after ordering quite a lot and even being interrupted several times while talking to other guests isn’t. Never felt so pushed out after a meal. The restaurant was even half empty, so no reason at all. We left in a bad mood.
