Ok for the town's standard. It's an old place obviously. Don't take room with shared toilet and bathroom. If you speak Amharic language then it's better as most staff can't speak English. The boy that serves food at the hotel restaurant on 6th July is a very bad and rude boy. I ordered spaghetti with vegetables meat and he brought spaghetti alone. I told him that was not what I ordered and should go and change it but he refused until I talk to the Chef who is a nice guy. The boy later saw me along the restaurant access and was murmuring something like abuse in a language I did not understand. Imagine this to a guest. I think the boy is a bad case for this nice hotel and the very wonderful Chef/Resturant Manager and should be let go be let go before he destroys the hotel. Amiin EJY super market for the first place to start

This is a good hotel in this area.but have some issues.some rooms have not water.have to keep in clean room and bad smell is not good.. But this hotel is enough fot that various prices.

I participated Hamda hotel held trainings in several times. Open minded staffs welcomed us. Good taste food and drinks are available. Mostly i remember their delicious lunch. Which is injera, rice, pasta, chicken and other mixed Ethiopian foods.

The worst hotel I visited in my adult life as solo traveller. Rude/unwelcoming front desk, swearing aggressive, uncivilized manager, poor management, luck of proper traning the hotel let down by the owners. I do not recommend to anyone Hamda Hotel. In fact I advice strongly to anyone to stay away from that so called hotel. It doesn't deserve even the standard of "hotel", better to call it Motel. Better to find any other accommodation while staying in Jigjiga.

This is now normal hotel in Jigjiga town. It is one of the first big hotels, but now there are more nicer and newer hotels. Anyway this hotel has spaces for hosting meetings. Many government institutions use as a place to host training and meetings. It has WiFi though you would find it not working many times.
