GORGEous restaurant full of light and happy plants. Delicious menu with locally sourced ingredients. Enjoyed the poutine and a seasonal autumn salad. My guests loved the schnitzel and perogies. Great experience all around.

I really want to love this place but there were a few things that I feel are holding me back. First, the length of wait time for appetizers, entrees, a mistake in one of the entrees causing one person to watch the others eat while all he had was poutine to snack on which was supposed to be his side. When the burger finally came it filled about half the bun. The next round of drinks also took more time that it should, they were simple drinks. I think there should be sides that accompany the handhelds. Or at least offer half orders of salads. My $11 Caesar salad was definitely overpriced for a very ordinary tasting salad. The peach dessert we had was more pastry than peach and a very small serving. The positive things…. The bacon & Bleu chicken sandwich and the pulled pork tacos were delicious as were the specialty cocktails. Our server Eliza was friendly and did her best to keep up. Possibly they were short handed causing things not to run smoothly. Not sure if I’d return. It’s 45 minutes from me and I didn’t feel “blown away” when I left.

It's a fantastic restaurant along the D&L Rail Trail. Choice of Inside or Outside tables and very dog friendly. Can pull bikes up next to tables. The food was excellent. They also have $2.00 chicken, beef, or surf and turf freeze dried disc treats for dogs. Star really enjoyed them. Excellent menu selection. Great prices. Friendly service. Hug a Mug Coffee Cafe is also located here.

Definitely worth eating a meal here! My husband and I and our 16mos old stopped for lunch on our way home from vacation. We had beers on tap and split the Irishman burger and the Buffalo Bacon Chicken sandwich and both were delicious! Had a full order of fries which was quite large, and they were just the right amount of crispy. Staff was very nice and attentive. Bathroom was clean. Very nice spot!

What can I say - found this place accidentally and was so surprised by the quality, the freshness, and flavor of all the food. I had to come back with my husband so he could try, and so I could get something new (which was easy, as the menu changes often) we ended up sharing the blackened cod tacos, the berry salad with grilled chicken, corn fritters, and mocktails! Our server Eliza was so attentive and kind. Bonus: ambiance was pleasant with all the plants and artwork. We will be back for sure! 🪴🌸

If you are in the Jim Thorpe area, it's absolutely worth the few minute drive to get to The Gorge Eatery. We had the steak special, the fried chicken sandwich, the Caesar salad, the seasonal corn fritters, and the Garden City cocktail. I'll start with the least impressive item, the corn fritters. The corn wasn't sweet and fresh, it tasted like frozen corn. The fritters were tasty, but honestly a bit dry. Everything else was fantastic. If you like grapefruit, the cocktail was fantastic, so good that I ordered a second. My steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, and I upgraded to their homemade tater tots. My husband's chicken sandwich was delicious, as was his salad. The restaurant is so cute, and service was excellent. We will probably eat here again tomorrow night!

Eliza, our server, was excellent. The pierogies were delicious. We chose our meals off the weekly specials menu. Portions are just right. They had crayons and a coloring page for our little one. Minor negatives: Had to look up the children's menu online. They were sold out of 2 specialty items by 6 pm.

Great brunch. Only negatives were the fries were a tiny bit overdone and the drinks took a bit too long. All the food was extremely tasty and we left satisfied. We visited once before last year for Cinco De Mayo and were a little less than impressed, but we came back for the Burger Bash and were a lot happier with a less limited menu.

As a first time customer I was not disappointed! We of course had to be picky as today was such a beautiful day we wanted to enjoy our meal outside and they were very accommodating! Eliza was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful! She made sure to check on us outside to see if we needed anything. Keep up the great work everyone!
