Nusa Dua beach is a long beach with white fine sand in the Nusa Dua resort area in Bali. There's plenty of five-star hotels and various restaurants here. This is because the beach is fenced by the coral riff from the ocean. The waves are getting bigger closer to the Southern part of the beach. The landscape changes drastically with the tide. During the low tide it's possible to walk on the sea bottom and watch little fish and crabs in the riffs. Locals come to fish during the low tides to this beach. And when the tide is high, there's just an ocean. The beach is quite clean. But there's a lot of seaweeds in the waters.

It is very nice beach and good part of Bali Island. We were there in January, central part of beach doesn't have strong waves, not windy. North part was better for surfers. Beach is clean, nice, gentle sand, water is not deep. We also met some local fisherman fishing in the sea.

Nusa Dua offers one stop solution, with lots of resort choices with direct access to the beach. Lots of sport activities can be done too such as paddle board, canoeing, etc. Biking around the area can be so much fun with amazing scenic of the beach and the area is well maintained, so clean and fresh. It’s nice to stay in Nusa Dua if you are a family with young children as the hotels also provide lots of kids activity. We stayed in Nusa Dua during the pandemic (April 2021) and I think we made the best decision.

Geger beach, just being St.Regis hotel is a gorgeous little stretch with water a beautiful color. The beach sellers aren't pushy at all which waas nice. The bar drinks were a surprisingly cheap price, beer at Mini Mart prices, fresh juice at 25K. Kids got a kite and the seller spent a long time with them until they mastered the art of flying it. Lounges were 50K each but could be used all day. Water is not good for snorkelling, too much seaweed and swirling sand.
