Really chilled hostel. A great spot for a quiet drink and some food. The salsa class on a Thursday is lots of fun. Most of the rooms are private with ensuite. Breakfast is included.

Located one block away from the Central Park, this is a great place for breakfast and lunch! Super chill, beautiful gardens, away from the noise. The food is very well priced! Get the burritos!

Very unfriendly staff. 10 minutes after breakfast time, we didn't get any breakfast and had to pay for it. They made us pay for something they knew we didn't break just because we shared the dorm with the person who was responsible for that. They threatened us massively and didn't let us leave although we had to get a bus. So they wanted to haunt down the person who broke the bed and called a security guard to the hostel. So eventually we had to pay for it. Also the main door was closed during the night which they didn't tell us. When we arrived late at night we had to knock the door for have an hour until they let us in. The toilet bin wasn't emptied for 3 or 4 days.

Cueva Nica is located downtown Granada what is amazing because you have everything in walking distance. The privates are $25 including breakfast. I could park my car in front of the hotel and could use their fridge. Cueva Nica has a local vibe. I really enjoyed staying here.

Some of the hostels in Granada are islands of foreigners, but Cueva Nica is authentically Nicaraguan. The family that runs the hostel is incredibly warm and welcoming. They'll help you with any information you need. They also offer unique Nicaraguan drinks like grama tea which is only from Granada.

The food was okay, but for the price, the burrito was really not great and the prices were completely untrue and not the same as on the menu. Can hardly recommend eating there, especially something to go.

Good food. Service was a little slow but we were a large party. The price was ok.

Highly overpriced. Just paid 7$ for a breakfast + Orange juice. You'd get the the same for a third of the price anywhere else...

Really cute hostel with friendly staff and free breakfast. The only con is that there is no kitchen. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Had a mixed experience here. First night was fine and had a couple of beers at the bar although one was not on the menu and more expensive than what was listed. I hired a towel and they refused to swap it for another one when it hadn't dried and I wanted to shower (other hostels do this - they eventually relented after our tour guide intervened). Laundry was expensive and I found other peoples' clothes in mine. They also overcharged someone else in our group for laundry and gave the wrong exchange rate when paying in dollars. A lot of fireworks are let off at night by locals but this is not the hostel's fault. 5/10

The best value for money hostal we found close to the central place after 2 other tries. Rooms are clean, ambiance is peaceful and pretty cool, location is ideal and people amazingly kind.
