Very good food. The chips were nice and crispy, the burger could have done with more salad (I opted out of fried onions, I much prefer raw sliced onions, or caramelised onions), but the brownie was exceptionally moreish and not too rich. Decent selection of drinks.

Cosy pub in Bracknell town also has a spacious restaurant too. We often come for a drink here but we also had breakfast today which was really good 👍 Came for dinner 🍽️.very nice

My wife and I had a lovely fish and chips in the restaurant when we were visiting the UK, the waitress from Poland was so polite and helpful. Good customer service. The price is a bit high but guess it's down to overheads. On another occasion we took our 4 year old grandson in for a fanta and bowl of chips, he loved them. The restaurant is nicely decorated but the old part of the pub could do with a lick of paint, chipped plaster and holes where sockets and items had been removed, the 4 year old commented first. Funny old world.

Nice pub, decent prices, good service. Liked the wine choices. Tasty food, but not too many options. Outdoor and indoor sitting. Good place for going out with friends

It was really nice. Cocktail list is a bit underwhelming which makes the price of them disappointing....I didn't bother getting one as all abit to run of the mill Staff were lovely but super stressed so I took a star off in the hope the boss gets more staff. They clearly need it.

Could be busier and only two staff members serving, so a long wait on food and drinks which we sympathise with, their employers should put more staff on.. food and drink was excellent and it's a lovely bar!

We had booked the upstairs area for drinks. We were the only people up there so it was lovely and really nice to be able to catch up with our friends. Service was good too. Thanks for having us. We'll be back.

We went for the Burns Night (25th Jan) and it was a brilliant concept themed night. Three courses and all tables got served at the same time which was fun. Delicious themed food. Loved the neon lights shining through the dining room in the evening. Will be coming back ❤️

This centrally located historic pub is the perfect grown-up pitstop while out shopping in The Lexicon. The modern dining room is a sympathetic addition to the pub that enhances the traditional feel of the pub. It's light and airy but there isn't much seating in the pub itself but plenty of seating in the beer garden and dining room..

We booked the private meeting room (Cowshed) for the whole afternoon for a team meeting and it was Brilliant! . The venue was perfect from making the booking to us paying the bill. The meeting room comes with Wifi, a TV screen and Flip charts and marker pens and they don't charge to hire it out - it was a completely private space with plenty of room. We arrived at lunchtime and had drinks, starters and mains. The very helpful bar staff even came up to the room to take our orders and checked on us throughout our 6 hour booking :-) The food, room and staff were all amazing and we would highly recommend The Bull.

The food is made fresh and wow, does it show! I had the Angus steak as a treat after a hard week and it was absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection and the flavours were sublime. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and made me feel right at home. If I could give ten stars out of five I would!

A bit of a find, the older (front) part of the pub has been part of Bracknell, for many years and has survived the building of the Lexicon shopping centre, which is great, the pub has a modern and swish-looking rear which greatly adds to the size for diners and perhaps events. The food is good quality, I enjoyed a Devon crab sandwich today, it arrived quickly and was well presented and enjoyable, the prices for food and drink do not seem exorbitant which was also good. Would I go back, yes, and also great for ad-hoc catch-ups and meetings over lunchtimes and in to the afternoon in the week.

This is THE place to go for food! Honestly get the Bull burger or the fish and chips! Service is great and the staff are very freidly! I don't typically go out of my way to speak to the manger or chef but felt compelled to here and tell them how good the food was!

Our evening started out well but soon went downhill when told to move abruptly upon food being served. Having sat at the table for two hours, waitress said we had to move as someone else has now booked the table. Our food was just being served. Duty Manager didn't deal with the situation professional either. Had we not paid for the food, we would have walked out. One staff member on duty that was lovely was Margaret. Hard working, compassionate, lovely personality. This lady deserves recognition.

Really nice food and friendly staff. Clean facilities and good location in the middle of town for shopping or cinema, with parking very close by. Online table ordering was a pain though, after jumping through lots of hoops to actually sign up the option I wanted wasn't listed (although it was available). This was sorted quickly by the staff, but meant ordering at the bar in any case. Still, didn't detract from a nice evening overall, maybe just order at the bar though if it's not too busy!

Private hire of conservatory area for a relaxed works "Drinks and Nibbles" evening was greatly appreciated by all. We had pre-ordered from the Buffet Boards menu and were delighted with the food which was hot, tasty and well presented. A good range of drinks enabled our colleagues from Germany to sample multiple beers and for those not drinking alcohol, there was a good range of soft drinks, including a passion fruit lemonade that went down a treat. The staff were attentive without being intrusive; big shout out to Jane! Definitely recommend this venue.

High quality food in a strange corner of Bracknell. The pub has been there centuries, but the street and venues around it are very modern. Ordering through the Youngs app is easy once installed, although it feels like it wants too much info.

Was in town on a business trip. Looking for some down home cooking. The Bull nailed it! I ordered the Beef Sunday Roast, it was delicious and a large portion. The potatoes were fried nicely and the Yorkshire Pudding was crisp and tasty. I would have liked a few more carrots (only received 2) and the beef was pre-cut and pulled from the juice. Would have been better freshly sliced, but still very good. The star of the meal was the sticky toffee pudding. Seriously one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing! Service was fantastic for once the began paying attention, which took me going to ask for a server. Definitely a great experience and will come back given the chance.

Great food, good atmosphere, good drinks; little bit pricey for Bracknell but still not extortionate. Great service from Max, provided everything we needed and then some, even had time to check in on us despite being the only waiter in that night. Would reccomend and definitely coming back.

Came for Valentines Dinner, had a lovely server, Katie. Food was delicious as always and I forgot to add chips to my order, so Katie was able to turn it around before bringing sauces. Thank you so much for a lovely evening and delicious food and drinks.

Nice place in Bracknell to have a real ale. Knowledgeable staff were serving when I visited which was in the middle of the day during the week. Wasn't busy but imagine it gets much busier on a weekend. Will go back.

Awful service from a very Curt young waitress I sent burger back that was Luke warm and pink inside told 10-15 mins remake and asked do you want it it shall I cancel it! Cancelled then 5 minutes later another waitress turned up with cancelled burger almost bemused that I did not want cancelled burger, friends dining with us were told we’ve run out of pots so you can’t have any ketchup or mayonnaise with your order!! I have eaten at lunch time here previously and all was good would never go back in the evening again appalling food and service the only saving grace was a lovely polish waitress

Lovely place, great decor and friendly helpful staff. We popped in here after a shopping trip in Bracknell and found the place to be very up market with a good selection of drinks, we didn't eat but saw plates coming out of Sunday roasts that looked very generous portions...........the one thing I will say is that the prices are on par with London.....so not cheap, just seems a little to premium for where it is, but still a great place.

Old and New pub in the Lexicon Bracknell. It has been extended with a stunning add on structure with very high ceiling and lots of natural light. Plenty of seating for dining. We went Sunday lunch time and it was very busy but the service was excellent as was the food. It is a Youngs pub so a pint of Winter Warmer went down well. Great choice of burgers as well as Sunday roasts and traditional faire such as fish and chips. I had the Katsu chicken burger which was very tasty. There are plenty of veggie options as well. The food came quickly, was hot and well presented. A very nice way to spend a cold Sunday afternoon. Thank you.

I hve been to this pub/restaurant last year 2021 for lunch. I would say this place has good food, nice ambience and service was good. Worth having a try. U can just drink coffee or beavrages, without eating.

Booked in specifically for a roast dinner as we were staying in the area on Sunday for my girlfriends 30th, I called and asked if these were served all day and was told “yes 100% until the kitchen closes around 9pm” only to turn up at 7.15pm to be told roasts were no longer on the menu. No offer of a substitute, no real apology. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t ever be booking again.

Competition in the new Bracknell city centre for eateries is very keen now, and The Bull is a good choice if you like a traditional pub with lots of history. After three visits I would say some meals are good, others just average. Service could have been better. The Bull is a spacious, very clean pub, the toilets are very good and the menu is constantly updated. Did I say what a great IPA, 'Proper Job' is? And it's served here.

The food was superb. We arrived without a reservation and were seated instantly. The pricing was very reasonable, the ambiance was cosy and comfortable. The service was very good. We ordered our starters and were very surprised as we were not expecting the excellent quality and taste. The mains were cooked to perfection and good sized portions. The wait between meals was quick. Thank you to the Bull team

Nice food and beer. Fish and chips are not the best I've tried but everything else was fine. There is an air conditioner that was vital the day we visited the town center. Highly recommended place to visit

This is a very nice place to dine. Beautiful setting. The best part of our experience today was the attendance ( Kuba ), who gave us a Top-notch experience. The young guy is caring, attentive, and understanding. I hope you get the £ten tip.. We will definitely come back for such a good treatment, good food, and beautiful setting..

The pub is very clean and has loads of seating inside and out. You have to order on the app, this works well and is easy to do. The food was very tasty and well cooked. Was expecting slightly more choices on the menu. The prices were quite high for the portions

Nice pub in Bracknell, walked past many times so decided to give it a try. Nice interior, good menu with lots of internal space and external seating. Menu looks good, the burger I ordered was somewhat small and lacking for the price so wouldn't order this again. Portion sizes are lacking however from my burger and partners salad. Friendly staff, nice warm atmosphere.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I wasn't expecting a pub to be so pretty! The staff here were lovely, very spaced out for covid. I went for a quick catch ups with my friend and had a great experience. Great music too!

I love that this building is listed. I worked on the lexicon site and seeing how this pub just sat there untouched while bracknell town centre was being remodelled just wondering what plans/ideas they had in mind for it. And wow they have gone that extra step. But what makes this place a worthwhile visit is the friendly and helpful staff. The food here is lovely. And they have an amazing range of drinks to choose from including cocktails. Lovely cosy front end of the pub nice to relax have a drink and snack or few drink if it's the weekend ;) then past the bar the new development into the pub restaurant. Highly recommended. Also look up the pubs history as it has a lot of secrets 😅 One is quoted on the wall to the left when you walk in. Very interesting

Decent town centre pub & restaurant. Decent selection of lagers and wines. A bit on the pricey side given its location. Quick service, amazing cosy seating around a huge fireplace. Large beer garden & huge restaurant area.
