Highly recommend! Kevin was wonderful, he is a man of many talents (front desk, bar tender, help figuring out my CLARO phone package, securing a taxi, etc.). The view is gorgeous. Clean rooms. Pool is small but enough to enjoy the view. The beach is fairly clean but I wish the local businesses and residents would be more active in preserving the environment from garbage. The cook… Amazing. We ate breakfast and dinner there and were blown away each time.

I loved the place and looking forward to go back. Owners are very welcoming, but service personnel is pretty slow.

A little bit of heaven, located right on the beach. Spotless clean, great pool to enjoy watching and listening to the crashing of the sea. Lovely comfortable rooms, A/C was very quiet. WiFi was good, but we were the only guest's. The breakfast was only let down, very basic for the price. The owners spoke excellent English. Parking on site. If your looking for a place to totally unwind, this is perfect. The town is a short drive away. As we were there out of season, not much open. For us perfect.

Because of the nice room with view on the ocean I give 2 stars. Otherwise the complete hotel is getting old , neglected, poorly cleaned(also tables, chairs and floors in restaurant), a lot of renovation to do at the building and also in the rooms. Worst of all is the food. After travelling for a month in Ecuador, from Otovalo to Alausi, this is really the worst food and presentation we had. Even in Quito, a menu for 4 $ is tastier and better served ! I hope people on WE and holidays are better served than we, being the only clients in low season . Besides that, Roger is really a nice guy, trying to do his best, and this all is not his fault.

Beautiful little getaway, very private. Owner was very pleasant. Hotel is very clean. Overall excellent experience. Will definitely come back.

It is a nice place if you wanna spend a relax time, you can stay alone, with friends or with your family, the restaurant is good, it is not wonderful but acceptable. The attention is very good. Roberto is a nice guy.

We chanced upon this true sanctuary while on a road trip with our son along the Ecuadorian coast. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the owner and all the staff there. We were visiting early December of 2015. We will be back!

Fantastic small boutique hotel set on a beautiful beach. The owner and manager is also an artist so every aesthetic was carefully thought out for you to dream you stress away on one of the hammocks.
