This hotel is just great and you know it as soon as you come in for the first time. The view... Rooms are fully equipped, comfortable beds, sparkly clean, hot water (not that you need it). Internet quality can be a bit of a hassle. The cafeteria is the best place in Manta to get coffee or beers, a little chat or work peacefully.

Precious Oasis in the middle of the best neighborhood in Manta! All the services needed are in walking distance, the staff is really helpful and cordial!! The views are simply breathtaking... Highly recommended to both families, couple and business trips!! Eager to come back

An excellent value with stunning views of the ocean. The hotel sits on a cliff above the beach. Our room faced the ocean and had a private patio sitting area. The free breakfast was good with fruit, coffee, scrambled eggs, juice and bread. The nice added touch is that you were served the breakfast by waitstaff. The sound of the ocean was so soothing at night. I highly recommend this small boutique hotel. It is excellent.

The name of this hotel says it all, it has an amazing view! The infinity pool, cafe, lounge area all share the same view and so do many of the rooms. It's located at the end of a quiet dead end street, there are steps past the dead end that can take you right down to the beach. Besides a great location, friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast, the rooms and beds are clean and comfortable and have all the amenities you need. I would definitely recommend giving Hotel Vistalmar a try if you are in Manta, I would stay here again as well!

Rooms are a litle basic, but good. Grounds are amazing, and the service is excellent. Prices are quite reasonable.

Not a 5 star hotel, not even close to that, missing all the amenities to be a 5 star hotel

I had booked a 8 day stay but left after the first night. It was a nice spot and a nice boutique hotel with a lovely breakfast. I specifically booked the "apartment" ....the pictures cleary showed it had mini kitchen....counter, sink, fridge and microwave. When we arrived none of that was in the room... they said they remodeled the room but failed to update the photos. So we moved to a new property that suited us better.

The beach is 3 or 4 blocks away, so it's very close. The view is AMAZING! The rooms are modern and spacious. Overall a great experience. It was a bit noisier than usual because of nearby constructions but that's outside of the control of the hotel, so I can't really complain.
