The
Good:
This
place
is
beautiful,
the
location
is
amazing
and
the
beach
is
so
wonderful.
This
is
a
prime
beach
for
surfing,
so
if
your
expecting
small
waves
and
calm
seas
this
isn’t
the
place…
Having
said
that
it’s
a
relatively
safe
beach
for
kids
to
play
and
the
surf
at
low
tide
is
pretty
gentle
all
things
considering.
By
safe
I
mean
the
water,
the
location
is
super
safe!
The
room
we
stayed
in
was
relatively
nice.
For
the
people
that
say
the
rooms
are
not
nice,
this
is
not
a
5
star
all
inclusive
resort,
it’s
a
hostel
in
Ecuador!
Grow
up
and
have
appreciation
for
what
this
location
is!
Also,
who
the
hell
needs
hot
water
in
Ecuador?
That’s
like
wanting
a
wood
burning
stove
in
Nevada
in
the
summer.
They
were
attentive
and
accommodating.
The
food
was
pretty
good
and
they
were
there
to
help
whoever
we
needed!
Pretty
nice
place,
all
those
negative
reviews
are
spoiled
brats
that
don’t
know
how
to
wipe
their
own
behinds!!!
The
Bad:
This
isn’t
the
hostels
fault,
so
can’t
mark
them
down
for
it,
but
the
bugs
depending
on
the
time
of
year
are
gnarly
so
bring
bug
spray
and
use
it!
Also
remember
you’re
in
Ecuador…
translation
“the
equator”
so
bring
and
use
sunblock!
The
rooms
could
be
cleaner,
and
it
would
take
very
little
to
insulate
and
make
it
easier
to
cool
down
and
separate
yourselves
from
the
noise.
There
were
people
up
until
2
am
one
night
that
were
so
loud
and
I
could
hear
every
word!
The
stairs
were
really
sketchy,
I
know
it’s
a
boat
themed
place,
but
we
don’t
need
dangerous
stairs
that
are
so
narrow,
steep
and
slippery.
Really
lost
some
points
for
the
stairs.
The
pool
was
nice,
but
the
water
is
a
bit
dirty.
The
Ugly:
The
price…
I
looked
up
the
price
for
the
room
we
stayed
in
after
we
had
stayed
and
we
were
significantly
overcharged.
I
don’t
appreciate
that
at
all
and
I
would
have
given
4
stars
if
not
for
this,
but
dishonesty
really
puts
me
off.
