Visited the Melrose arch street lights display and market, was amazing as always! Street food was great, creative and festive. It was busy and viby, a must see and experience over December holidays

Melrose Arch is definitely beautiful from the outside to the inside. It has a lot of restaurants that serve the best meals that are at the best value. They also have stores for shopping which are very reasonable. Melrose Arch is very clean and very quiet. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for peace of mind, good quality food, drinks and great service worth your money...

We always go around to Melrose Arch around December time to see the Christmas lights and decorations. The kids love it! Abundance of restaurants to suite every pallet.

I was at Mezepoli for lunch,there was some sort of cycling event right next to the restaurant with lots of people. Great energy all around

A highlight of the Joburg Christmas calendar. A definite must do if you’re in the city over the festive season. Combine it with a meal at one of the many restaurants in the plaza to make an evening out of it.

Absolutely one of my favourites. Vibes are immaculate. Love watching the world cup games for different sports there always. Restaurants are good around it as well. Always will have a good time

Amazing place with several restaurants and shopping stops. The streets give a European vibe and is a perfect “insta” worthy place. It’s an awesome place to hang around with a group of friends with several cafés.

Went to see the Christmas lights and it was a great treat! Brings large crowds but great atmosphere. More shops should trade in the evening while the lights are up as I think they would make a killing

Beautiful Mall One of the most beautiful malls I. Joburg. The festive lighting was out of this world and I wish I had gone there during new years eve. The mall has great hotels and restaurants. However this is a high class mall and most things may be expensive for some people.

The Christmas street lights were beautiful. A fun evening for the whole family. The kids loved the candy floss on light sticks which you can purchase amongst the light displays. We ate at Old Town. The service from Fortune was great. The manager Simon was on the floor assisting and very friendly. Walter the chef prepared delicious food. The pizza including the gluten free and caprese salad were superb.

Had our year end lunch at Istanbul Kebab. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient.

I am so saddened by the lack of service or simply accountability for customer satisfaction in so many establishments these days. We only sat down for a quick coffee and macaroons after enjoying the Melrose Arch lights. Eventhough the precinct was bustling and vibey, the atmosphere did not carry through to this establishment. The macaroons were world class though and decent coffee, but I can't complain about the service, as there was none. I won't be back

Melrose Arch is an absolute gem! You can never get used to the ambience and atmosphere especially during the festive season when the Christmas lights are switched on. Important tip : Save time by parking in the basement. Use entrance 3 when going to the food court. The risk of getting clamped and be liable for R500 fine when parked outside (if you park in the wrong spot) is way to high. So just park in the basement and pay R10 or so period!

Melrose Arch, located in the Amdec House, 1 Melrose Square, Old House Lane, Johannesburg. Very beautifuly designed Centre, lush amneties, & Sarrounded by luxury stores, hotels, spas, corporate companies, etc. Come see for yourself & engulf yourself in lush & luxury.

Great dining/coffee venue. Upmarket and posh. It would be great to see Melrose Arch become Carbon negative and create more gardens as in the surrounding neighborhoods. Massive opportunity to create paid sports facilities- ie tennis courts/padel courts and running/biking trails.
