Sushi is fresh and huge! All the food is good quality and the service is excellent. Really enjoyed going here and was lucky to get a table without a reservation, but do reserve a table so you don't need to rush.

Always packed but went during the quiet period otherwise I suggest making a reservation. My waitress was so sweet and checked on me regularly. I had the SUV and Chicago sushi. Was very nice. Beer was nice and cold. Service good. Atmosphere great.

My absolute favorite steak place in all of South Africa... And i have eaten at a lot. The fillet here is melt in your mouth delicious. Great service, beautiful atmosphere... Right on Nelson Mandela square. On a nice day get a table by the square. Also recommend the creamed spinach.

We went into the restaurant for a work lunch. They were busy so I would recommend a reservation. The service was great and waiters were friendly. We had a table for around 11 and the food was done in a timely manner. I had the vegan sushi which was a new experience. It was amazing and would definitely be back to try more. They are reasonably priced for the location they are in.

Very nice place in Nelson Mandela Square, kitchen closes probably about an hour after the others which will really save you if upper running late like we were, food and service was good.

Loved it. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. A bit pricey but well worth it. The cauliflower was surprisingly yummy. Sushi on point, dim sum delicate. The only thing I didn't like was the vanilla milk that accompanied the oreos. Should have been plain whole milk or even ice cream... All in all a lovely lunch...

Always fantastic. Great Asian menu, then all these other goodies like burgers and prawn tacos if you are feeling to go left-field. They could work on their cocktails, they are a bit bleh. They hosts at the door are friendly and respectful and always go out of the way to help with tables, even when it's full. This place is a regular for me.

Oh my gosh! The food tastes amazing, and the portion sizes are more than enough for one person (We shared each meal amongst us 4, so you can imagine the total ration). The staff are very friendly and attentive, it didn’t take long to get our food. I love that you’re able to see the chefs making your food. The prices aren’t bad, it’s an affordable place.

Amazing sushi experience, loves the new Tuna sashimi, and the special rolls were very flavour rich. The edamame portion was great too, along with the included bread. I was not expecting to eat sushi but I left happy I did. Also the Deep Fried Oreos were amazing, quite the surprise.

The food is very good and the poke bowl is so filling. I also love the bread they offer while we wait, it’s quite fresh and tasty. The staff is also very friendly, there has not been a time we felt neglected🙂. I just need them to work on the aesthetics of the place, the fish wall paper isn’t cute.

I really enjoy Big Mouth, I’ve been here twice and both times were great. I love the sushi here, it’s fresh and so filling, the drinks are delicious. The dessert is perfect for everyone, they have really sweet options and just gelato for those who don’t enjoy sweet treats. The service is good but I do feel you can go a while without receiving attention.

Great sushi and menu options. Food of high standard, great service, a little crowded and noisy at times. Probably because they are so good. Booking highly recommended.

The sushi was just wow, even the calamari was very good. Really well made, up to standard. Service was excellent, friendly staff. A bit pricey but it's definitely worth every penny, you'll want to go back for more, I know I do and can't wait !!

Being a vegetarian, I too will not leave disappointed. The food is not only tastes amazing, the ambience is lovely and the service truly is impeccable. Always love coming here. You know you will be guaranteed an amazing experience all round.

Always a vibe here. Love their sushi. Service is always great. My go to when at NMS. It was my first time trying their bamboo sushi as I'm reducing starch intake. Good taste but abit light. Kept falling apart when I tried eating it with chop sticks so it caused a mess. Cucumber base needs to be a bit thicker as other places. Overall great experience.

I love-it! The staff are very mindful of the service and kind from the reservation until you get the bill. The food is great quality and well prepared, I ordered Tomahawk Steak, Calamari, and Salmon Salad. The view is nice at the front of Manadala Square. The price is reasonable, I would recommend friends to visit here.

Went with the family to celebrate my parents 60th. The hand roll and California rolls were great. Lobster roll had a sweet sauce that looked and tasted like 1000 island sauce which means you couldn’t taste the lobster. Ribs were dry and lacked sauce. Tomahawk was a cheap cut and even though we ordered medium, only the middle was pink and it was very chewy. Waiter messed up our order with starters and we ended up cancelling it because the food would have come out at the wrong times. With the thousands of rand we spent I would say it’s way over priced. They did give us two desserts for the birthday celebration, but it didn’t make up for it. The manager said that he would Make sure it’s better the next time we visit but I only come to SA once a year and definitely a not be coming back here.

We keep coming back to this place for their sushi. Every visit so far, they never disappointed. Easy to book a table online without a phone call. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere and lighting for a dinner of any occasion. Be aware that in peak times you sometimes need to book in advance as it can be fully booked but they do offer seating at their sushi bar if it is full. We cannot wait for our next visit.

This is a wonderful restaurant both for family outings as well as date nights. The food is delicious and ranges from seafood including sushi to grills with the best steak in town. The service is always immaculate and the waiters are super friendly and efficient. They also have a wide range of drinks and the cocktails are divine. This place is a must for all food lovers.

This was by far the best steak and ribs my hubby and I had. It is abit pricy but worth the prices. The ribs could have been eaten on its own, didn't even need the side dishes. Portions are well sized. Friendly and helpful staff. The manager kept checking on us and asked if everything was fine. Really great experience.

One of our favorite restaurants. The sushi is amazing. I tried the seared sushi and it was also great. It is a busy restaurant and you might have to wait a bit for a table but it is worth it. A great location on Sandton Square.

As the name suggests they definitely have big mouth to brag upon! Went with a friend for drinks and dining and ordered “Bloody Mary” and to our utter shock and surprise it was served in Milkshake glasses, asked the waitress to return. If that wasn’t enough ordered “Dirty Martini” for 2nd round and that was also served in wrong glasses, sent it back. Ordered the 3rd round, the waitress came and asked if she could take our glasses as there are not enough or probably just have 2 sets of martini glasses! That was absolutely unbelievable! In other words she wanted us to finish our drinks at the earliest so she could get us the next round in the same glasses. 🙈🙈 The food was fine! But this experience was terrible for a place like “Big Mouth”
