I saw Pied Piper here. It was a terrific production with some great acting and a script that contained some nicely localized bits (e.g. related to being in South Africa and Centurion). My niece and nephew also enjoyed it and were sufficiently scared by the rats that they didn't want to go near the actors after the play ended. I will definitely return to see another play.

Thoroughly enjoyed Pretoria Youth Theatres production of 'Matilda Jr - the musical.' Great place to take the kids during the school holidays.

The Irene Village Theatre offers all aspiring actors and actresses the opportunity to participate in all kinds of on site activities and to hone their acting skills. It has been in operation for years and is well-known and respected. It is located in Irene Village and housed in the old post office, giving it an old school charm. Young and old welcome. Their theatre productions are great and well worth attending. Their attendance fees are also reasonable.

We really enjoyed the show - from entering the door, to the drop of the curtain. We were swept away on a magical journey of thrills and the kids really loved It! We will definitely be back.

We took the children for a live theatre experience and it did not disappoint. The theatre is small and looks basic but the performance was great! The children enjoyed it.

We love home schooling. We enjoyed Peter The Rabbit performance. We believe in a Chistian upbringing for our children.

I try to take my girls every holiday to see a play. The scripts are well written and include current jokes based on what’s happening in SA. Always good for a laugh. The actors encourage audience participation - always funny when the kids are horrified by the villain and tell them off or mislead them. You can have a photo taken with the cast afterwards. Popcorn and slush puppies, face paint on sale too. I lovely fun morning out. Local family business - so support proudly SA families!!!

Probably not the fault of the theatre, but the heat in these times were unbearable. Fans went off during the first 20 mins of the show - as well as the sound etc. We had to take an early interval. After interval, fans could not be restored and the heat inside was very uncomfortable.

The theatre has limited parking, and city centre is not safe anymore. BUT I was pleasantly surprised with the theatre itself. Very well designed, cosy, I can sit there all day and be entertained. Toilets are neat and clean.

A nice place to have a function for about 50 people. Clean, with well kept kitchen and amenities.

Entertaining and interactive. Setup of the hall reminds of school assembly, plastic chairs and stage. Feel the tickets was a bit pricey. No matter the kids enjoyed it.

The shows presented by Pta Youth Theatre at Irene Village Theatre is a must see. The shows are not only for kids, adults enjoy it just as much. Costumes, make-up, Lighting, acting, music & singing, etc are very professional.
