Love the food and drinks here. A great vibe on weekends. Can get very busy and tables fill up fast. So book in advance... Or wait your turn... Drinks always cold. The wings are my favorite. Definitely check it out if in the area. Waitresses are well mannered and always friendly.

Nice place before you leave johannesburg. Close to the Airport and many other possibilitis to spend time in that area.

Emperors Palace is a fun Casino that offers a wide variety of Restaurants and Entertainment options. Great bars such as Hooters and News Cafe. Visited on Sunday 16 May when they had the Ferrari Day, very exciting and entertaining for the entire family. Parking is R10 and safe. I do recommend this Casino and premises if you are looking for a fun and safe environment to enjoy yourself.

As Hooters go the staff and food was of high standard. The venue overall was clean. We went on a Wednesday for unlimited chicken wings. The wings was amazing. We did not get the full Hooters experience as it was a bit nippy. Overall a great experience.

Really a very welcoming place to eat at, waitresses are super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food, their curly fries are actually curly. Chicken wings are amazing, if you enjoy chicken wings you need to try theirs. Prices are decent, not too expensive and the wait time for food is about 15 - 20 mins. It can get quite busy in the evening so it helps to get there early.

We ordered spicy wings and they server sweet wings after we complaint they took plate back and cleaned those wings in water and pore some hot sause then heat it in oven and served. Worst maintenance and worst staff that's how they treat customers. Literally worst behaviors with customers. Please avoid this branch. 🤣🤣 we ordered hot wing boneless, they took again bloody sause wings again. Fourways Hooters are best. These guys don't have business then using expired sauses. God bless these guys..

I came here with my wife on a Saturday evening. The place was packed but luckily we didn't wait long to get in and get seated. First thing I noticed was there was a lot of customers with their family and kids/babies, and the music was very loud. Never thought Hooters would be a family-friendly restaurant but ok, cool. Anyways, we ordered a variety of food to try: original wings, shrimp, nachos, and chicken burger with fries. My recommendation would be wings and chicken burger. Our waitress was super friendly and served our food and drinks at a timely manner. Overall, great experience. Would come here again to watch a game or two.

It is a great restaurant, a purl that is hidden away. The food was really good, music not to soft not to hard and good music. Prices is good. The other best thing about the Blue Marlin is that it is not just a restaurant. Do you self a favor and go the the Blue Marlin. We will go back for sure

This was my second visit but first at the new premises. Had a delicious deep fried hake, I think it’s called the London fish and chips on a gloomy quiet day. My family loves the seafood here,we make a point to pop in whenever we’re in the East Rand.

Been there a few times and always been brilliant. Yesterday however was not a very nice experience at all. I asked if the fish batter could be crispy, which turned out to be almost burnt. The chips too. It was cooked for too long in oil that was still too cool. Instead of hot and fast. Hopefully will be better next time.

We usually get takeaways because I love old school fish and chips and they do it so well. The calamari and prawns are also well worth ordering. Although very reasonably priced, we have never been disappointed with the quality of food. Easy 5 stars

Visited on a Sunday evening with my daughter and other family. Upon arrival there was no hostess to seat us. We were seated in a small booth and told to wait while a larger booth opened up. The waitress took our drink order and seemed visibly put off when we ordered water (keep in mind the majority of the table is diabetic) However when moving to the larger booth a different waitress was assigned to us, and she was quite helpful and understanding. Even though our food was delayed. Upon wanting the bill we couldn't find a waitress at all. They seemed to be having a huddle by one of the doors, to what I assume is the kitchen. We stood up and waited and went looking and finally got the manager who got the waitress. Upon getting ready to pay, I noticed a kiddies menu at the hostess booth (that had not been given to us) I turned it over out of interest and noticed that it said 'kids eat free on Sundays'. Upon questioning the manager why were not told this or given the menu, he called the hostess over who told us very rudely that 'it was not her job'. She even spoke to her manager rudely and he did nothing about it. We were quite disgusted, but paid and left letting them know we would definitely be leaving a review.

Orange Pride sangria, boneless wings with BBQ sauce, followed by Malva pudding with ice cream. All went down extremely nicely. Bit of a shame to have to pay to enter the casino property, but more disappointing was the lack of smiles or sense of enthusiasm from the staff - quite a difference from most of the Hooters restaurants I've experienced in the US.

Nice venue to chill with drinks and delicious snacks/grub/bites/tidbits. Delicious platters to share. The crispy chicken strips are delightful. There's a variety of different bites like the prawn tails, buffalo wings, sliders, etc. The waitresses are welcoming and friendly.

No seafood over lockdown, frozen to long

Our experience at this restaurant wasn't so pleasant. We ordered 4 meals and ended up receiving two plates out of which three people had to share one plate of food and was still charge full prices on all 4 meals that was ordered. I phoned the restaurant two days later to enquire and is yet to receive feedback from management. Don't get me wrong credit is due where credit is due. Their food are absolutely stunning I just don't see why I have to share food and pay full prices for full meals.

The fish was tops. The chips though should have been hand cut chips like before. They using that packet stuff. Thats not cool. I would visit again.

I work at King of tiles and its just 5minutes away from Blue marlin boksburg .Firstly prices increased without informing us customers, Secondly when they deliver there has to be something missing, Either sauces which were paid for or utensils etc...Brenda is worse she has an attitude. As for the food guys its very enjoyable its just there and there where u will get burnt chicken and dry chips

Such a big DISAPPOINTMENT. Hubby and I both ordered a combo consisting of Large Hake & Calamari (Grilled), we received small portions of both. The chef visited the table to confirm that my handsize is indeed a LARGE Hake??? Needless to say the calamari tubes fitted in the palm of my hand, the savory rice was plain rice and hubby's salad was a kids portion of leaves, peppers and onions. And make no mistake, prices charged are very much market-related. We will not be supporting Blue Marlin in future and we strongly suggest you do the same. Hard-earned money can be better spend elsewhere.

Had lunch today at Blue Marlin. My wife and I both ordered the combo large hake and calamari. My wife went with the savoury rice as a side. As you can see from the pics, the savoury rice turned out to be just nornmal rice and my large hake (+220g as per menu) must have gone on a strict diet! Both the manager on duty and the waitress agreed that the fish fillet was small, but the chef was adamant that all was ok... So not a nice experience, especially as the food was just mediocre at best. So in conclusion, I would NOT recommend the Blue Marlin to anyone and will not support them in future. Collin

No indication how to order, except a small notice on a promo flyer. Bill was incorrect 2 times and one meal was served incorrectly. All was corrected on notification, but the restaurant was not busy enough to warrenty mistakes like these. The meal itself was definitely not the same as received on past visits resulting in disappointment.

George the manager is absolutely AWESOME. Patient and understanding. A big plus to this Hooters. Good food especially the curly fries! BUT cocktails are watered down sadly 😥 Kitchen wayyyy to loud, some guy shouting all the time.

Restaurant had a good vibe, however staff were overwhelmed which resulted in our waiter taking a tad bit long to tend to our table. Food was relatively okay, aesthically pleasing however wasn't as flavourful with an okay portion size for money.

We decided to have a boys night at hooter yesterday. The food was good but the atmosphere was terrible. First it didn't even look like our waitress wanted to be there and we couldn't believe it when we where informed that the kitchen closes at 20h30, and the worst was when 'last rounds' was announced at 21h00. This on a Thursday night. Next time I will go across to News Cafe.

Really good food and drinks. Service is in need of touching up. But otherwise it is really a fun place to go eat and have drinks at with friends and family and they have the best chicken wings in Germiston.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Had 3 different people stop to check in and one stop for a short chat. Fish and chips were pretty good. Didn't enjoy the wings as much. Still a good meal and got to leave with a good experience.

Food was great. Waiter seemed a little slow to return for cleaning up plates, and getting the bill, but otherwise a great experience. Rowdy bathroom at the time I chose to enter, but hey that happens with any bar. Couldn't complain really about anything to be honest.

Very nice place for hangout. You can have everything here. Food is very nice. Service is ok. You can't expect fast service here as this place is always busy at evening. I don't know about the day time but evenings are always busy.. staff are very helpful and very pretty. There are some tables available for the one who wants to smoke while having their drink or food.

What a disappointment. Your branch in Emperors Palace. This is my first time visiting Hooters. Was so excited. Heard great stuff. Drove a whole hour. Just to find out you have no cocktails available and no sauces with the wings. What's going on? You guys going out of business?
