😠 Communication with they're sales people is absolutely horrible. Their timelines do not make sense.     Pathetic service. Just empty promises and a serious lack of communication. Calls not answered and poor attention to clients. My mag wheel was repaired after one entire week and on each day I was promised delivery- another LAME excuse! I wonder how Mercedes Benz regards them as an accredited provider

I have not had my car for over 3 months. I feel they used the backorder of parts as an excuse to delay the works. I'm officially fed up. Worst experience ever.

    Thomas did an amazing job fixing my car. My car now looks brand new, only not happy about the time it took to fix my car, otherwise I'm happy with the job well done 😊 .

    !!!STAY AWAY!!! I am busy investigating a possible damages claim against Silverlakes ARC. I reported Silverlakes ARC at controlling body and Discovery for investigation. The constant lies, delays, and poor quality of work are shocking, and I do not understand how Silverlakes ARC can still be in business. My story is not new, as mentioned in several other complaints below— 8 WEEKS from receiving all parts as confirmed on Voice Recording on 05 October 2022. I kept notes of all timelines and "promises," and the story changed whenever confronted! I received my NP200 back with an unaligned bonnet, Additional Damages to the car due to "Hydraulic Lifts," and the card was not even adequately washed or vacuumed. We had to show them the car water level is too low!!! 4 Weeks at Mechanical Work. Auth given on 19 August 2022 and received the vehicle back on 18 November 2022. !!! 12 WEEKS!!! - The assessor's Job card states the car will take 15 Working days to repair. This is a warning - If your insurance states your car is with Silverlakes ARC, rather pay to have your car removed than trust Silverlakes ARC with your vehicle. DO NOT BE fooled by the Mercedes Logo outside. Run, Run as fast as you can! I am taking my NP200 for full investigation at another service centre and will share my findings.

    They have nosense of proper customer service. My brother took his car there, they kept the car for over 6 weeks and didn't want to assist him with courtesy car after the car hire lapsed. Then when the vehicle repairs were finished, there we still issues with bumper, which they called that due to old damage

    Worst experience ever, i was involved in an accident on 2nd of August 2021 and my Van was towed there while i was taken to hospital, next morning when i came to check my car at ARC, i found it stripped with my belongings stolen, money, Airforce1 sneakers, sleepers, alcohol within my cooler box, also my brand new earphones my smokes all taken.... My car was towed and droped off at 22:13pm but my car was later temperd with as my tracker record shows the ignition was also switched on at 23:13pm same night...

    Pity Google doesn't have a "zero stars" option. These guys are pathetic. We took our car in for a simple scratch repair and it took almost 3 weeks for them to complete the job. When we collected the car, we couldn't get it to start. The claim from them was that the battery had expired, so they recommended that we replace it. The battery was replaced on the spot, but later that day our car broke down on our way to JHB. Silverlakes ARC (SARC) arranged to have the vehicle towed back to their shop and claimed that the towing cost would be covered by SARC. Later that week we received an email stating that they performed a diagnostic test and found that the alternator was faulty (which means they made us buy a new battery unnecessarily). They informed us that we should collect our car from their shop, but that they wouldn't release the car if the towing invoice (which they said they would cover) wasn't paid by us. Then followed a string of calls which would eventually lead to them taking no responsibility whatsoever, despite us having the conversations and their undertakings recorded on a call recorder app. Major coincidence that the alternator had to be repaired/replaced right after they've done the scratch repair. Can't fault the initial repair work, but the customer service was absolutely awful and the fact that we had electrical issues after they had the car in their possession for two-three weeks makes you wonder. Rather stay away!

    PLEASE avoid this place at all cost!!! We waited more than 8 weeks for our car. When we got it back we took it to Toyota - steering wheel was skew. Back Belly Plate was broken. Front Belly Plate was missing! They will endanger your life if you take your car there. How Mercedes condones this place is beyond me.

    Our car was towed to this place after we had an accident in Kwa Mhlanga, it took 3 months full for the repair to be completed, 20 March to 20 June 2022, they tried to keep us updated with the progress of the vehicle and we were getting impatient. The end result was just outstanding, well done. I am also happy with the 3 years warranty provided.

    Dropped my vehicle off for repairs. The staff was very professional and efficient. My rental vehicle was delayed and they even offered to drop me off at my next destination. I would recommend them for all your Merc repairs.

    Worst service I have had. Send my brand new vehicle in after a small bump. Took 1month to get parts (maybe that I can unserstand) then when it comes in it takes 4.5 weeks to fix. There response on asking is 10 to 15 working days. (that's 3weeks) Then I get phone call after phone call that it's ready (but didn't pass quality controll) Then when I fannaly collect they return without parts THAT where not broken. And after 4.5 weeks also didn't have a rubber that they should know about. (photos attached). My brand new car aslo smelt like a macanic slept with a prostute in it. Took a month to ger ride of the smell. And after all this the aircon which was working is not. When I say fix it they say they didn't work on the front I must take to the dealer. Maybe the should check 1st considering they can even supply the car back with the same parts. Maybe while the macanic was living in my car they broke it. I normally give good stars but this is a joke. Can't wait for my report.

    I would like to Thank DEON COETZER and he's team for an excellent service that was provided. The service was on PAR and the car was taken in and sorted without any time being wasted. I would recommend this ARC for anyone looking to get their problem sorted in no time.

    My car has been with them for 7 months, after being hit on the bumper, the excuse is that there is a backlog of parts and the guy even blamed the Ukraine war for parts not arriving in SA. Now they asked me to call Jeep and place a complaint with Jeep so that they can send them the parts. Worst service ever !

    Friendly service (especially from the manger), but poor communication with clients regarding the progress of the vehicle’s repairs. I only received one or two sms’s and would only get a call after calling reception multiple times to get feedback.

    The customer service is very poor. I had to call five times at 1 point in a day, just for feedback, first call being at 08h00. Calling through out the day till 5pm, they would promise to call back everytime. However no call back and still with no feedback. The estimated completion date was moved 3 times, every time by four weeks with no one even bothering to call or text as to why. I had to call in frustration to get any kind of information. At one point they spent 4 weeks just painting the car according to their system. I was very disappointed to say the least. I honestly had high expectations when I took the car in, as they seemed quite professional. However dololo.

    What an amazing experience!!! Thanks to everyone at Sliverlakes ARC, especially Karabo and Frances for keeping me up to date and going the extra mile and ensuring that I get my car back as good as new, even better than before!
