We ordered 2 burgers, one pork belly and a tuna toasted sandwich. Unfortunately the potato wedges in all the dishes were not cooked well nor seasoned. And the mustard sauce used with the potatoes with the pork belly dish was very overwhelming. As was the sweet sauce used in the burger. Our waitress was very attentive and engaging but the restaurant was severely understaffed so the wait for service and food was very long. That being said, the location and scenery was amazing. Their cakes and cappuccinos are highly recommended. They also grow and sell their own fresh produce.

Another spot I finally got to tick off my "To Eat" list. Luckily they managed to accommodate us without a booking BUT I would recommend booking in advance at Shed & Silo. It's well worth it. The menu is limited but what we had was amazing. For summer it's definitely a place to see, as there is inside and outside seating and it's situated in a lovely open space with the cute little shops on the side. We ordered the •Cider Pork Belly with Warm Potato Salad, Pickled Cabbage and Apple Chutney - Amazing, i would have like the crackling a bit more crackled, but that's just me 🤣 •Chicken Prego Roll with Paprika butter, Rocket, Creamy Prego sauce and Wedges. Delicious, tasty and not too spicy. • The Organic House Salad, with mustard dressing added with Chicken Portion sizes are decent, the food is fresh and beautifully presented 👍🏼 While venturing around, I noticed the Strawberry Margarita Cake, and being the Tequila fan my mind immediately went to the cocktail. So I asked the nearest waiter what is in the cake. She politely replied its a Cake with Tequila in it but the baker didn't put alot of Tequila in. My disappointment right there 🤣🤣, but I had to try it so I found our waiter Michael and asked him for a slice. I was then later advised that the Bakery is on-site that supplies them with some of their Cakes. This being one of them so we took a walk there afterwards and I complimented the baker. Will post about them separately 😁🍰 but what an amazing slice of cake. Would highly recommend you give it a try, it won't make you drunk but it will keep your taste buds satisfied 😋 Thanks to Michael, Sylvia and the team for a superb lunch experience. We had a lovely experience. The only issue we've had is being rushed because we didn't book a table. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and the decor is beautiful. The food is delicious and comes quite quickly. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend visiting this little gem

*The ambience and relaxing views are the biggest "pull factors" here, you will see from the pics. *Food arrived quickly at our table, which consisted of more than 10 pax; waitress though young was efficient and polite. *Coffee was decent i.e., industry standard. *Salmon Bagel with Avo seemed to be the 'dish of the day'. *Burger very tastey, nice meaty pattey, the tomato relish is a winner! On the /down side/, the potato wedges didn't do the dish justice; and quite a small portion. Makes one feel like a side of normal chips thereafter(if one could). AND the buns were really stale, on all 7 burgers! *Prego Roll seemed like a fair portion, fresh and tastey but lacked the "prego flava" that one would expect. *Charcoal Activated Blueberry Cake: it was said on previous review/s that it was fantastic or 'the best cake ever', personally I would not agree; nice to try as a once off. Rather go for the Chocolate Brownie with Mascarpone Ice Cream! I'd even rate the Raspberry Cake over the Charcoal. Overall a pleasant experience.

I had the most enchanting experience at The Silo & Shed restaurant! The unique combination of a farmhouse and an outdoor glass greenhouse for seating created a truly inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect setting for everything from family outings to romantic dates. The ambiance is simply lovely, and the ample parking is a great convenience. Be sure to plan accordingly, as it tends to get busy during lunch hours. And oh, the food! From the delicious main dishes to the mouthwatering cakes, everything was absolutely amazing. A visit to The Silo & Shed is an absolute must for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Right in the plots of Benoni, this beautiful venue is the perfect place for a light meal or tea and cake with friends. Sitting in a room of glass panes, the view in every direction is unobstructed. Watch the horses grazing in the distance, the rabbits hopping between cars, or a mother chicken traverse the emerald green lawn with her chicks following closely. The craft ice tea, particularly the hibiscus and vanilla, is delicious. I would be remiss if I didn't highly recommend the scrumptious Lemon Meringue cake from a lovely selection (including carrot cake, chocolate brownies, and a coconut pudding topped with pineapple, to mention a few)

An Absolutely stunning place. Highly recommend a visit. One of the best places ever visited in a country setting with horses and beautiful views. Food is incredible, I had the French toast, best ever. Can't wait to go back soon?

Great find! So much open space! Place is so safe, feels like you away from it all. Staff are lovely, they really care about the place and you can feel it. Food is freaking divine!!! Cakes are just fab too! Pics - pork belly - legit the best I have had in a looooooong time, beetroot hummus bagel - all great! Cake - carrot 🥕 cake and charcoal blue berry - a great combo. Please note we shared both cakes, so the sizes are decent portions (so needed when they are that delicious) Please book guys, they are busy and have a look in the little shops - super cool. Enjoy! Just had my baby's first birthday here. It was beautiful. The staff are also top tier...The only thing I would want to be different is that the main restaurant patrons need to be kept from private functions. I had a good amount of strangers walking into my party which wasn't great. Otherwise, honestly incredible. Food, atmosphere etc was perfect

The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. The tables outside give a sense of tranquility in the manner they are set up and the view is refreshing. It is advisable that you book a table as there's a possibility that you might get there and they are fully. There's an option to sit in the glass box as well. The food is okay, not much meat variety/options on the menu so for abo buti it's advisable to eat pap before you go to The Shed.

The best vanilla and orange cake I've tasted in the last 30 years! 😍 Food very good just a 4* because the 'snacky' choices are quite basic but otherwise awesome open space a relaxing environment.

What a beautiful place to sit and have a breakfast. The staff are exceptionally friendly and on the ball. Food was incredible. The views of the horses and farm vibe make you feel like you are in another place. Will definitely be returning.

A beautiful and tranquil setting for a restaurant .We had the Eggs Benedict for breakfast it was delicious and we had cake. They have an art studio and a fresh produce store as well. The vegetables are grown on the plot. Our waiter was so amazing and friendly..Just a pity I forgot his name.

We were a group of ladies. We were there for lunch. It is a lovely setting and really good service with a very friendly, pjeasant waitress. Two of us had the chicken pie, which was delicious, one lady had smashed avo, which she really enjoyed. Most of the other meals were mediocre. The budda bowl was dry and had little flavor. The cake selection was great and delicious.

What a lovely experience. Their charcoal 🎂 cake is my absolute favourite on their menu. However During the festive season they were understaffed. It will be ideal to add manpower during peak season..

Absolutely a must visit. I never thought a lovely place like this will be find close to my old town Kempton Park. Heerlike kos really with creative and a touch of different tastes, Every corner on this treasure coast offers something different. Go and search a gift for some one here or just spoil your parents or friends to a lovely, peaceful and tranquil enviroment
