I was really pleased with the butter cake ice cream at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. There were a ton of great flavors to choose from, and the staff was happy to help me sample any flavor I wanted. The ice cream shop was small, but the line can take a while, especially since it's located near the center of the Avalon. Overall, I thought the ice cream was delicious and I would definitely go back!

Be prepared for the best ice cream with unique flavors. This hidden gem is a favorite with locals. When we arrived there was a long line as usual. It’s worth the wait! I got Chocolate & Strawberry which was delicious. There are other flavors such a lavender, peach cobbler, & powdered jelly doughnut. They let you sample flavors & are patient with answering questions.

Very good ice cream and their specialized buttercrisp waffle cone and bowl is a great addition to the unique flavors. I got the blackout cake and darkest chocolate and both were very good. Expect to stand in line but it generally goes pretty fast.

Absolutely excellent ice cream! Oh last time I was in Atlanta I attempted to go, but the line was out of the door. This time I lucked out and was able to walk right in and order. It is a very convenient location in the Avalon with great outdoor seating. I did not see much indoor seating however. The serving sizes were amazing, and I probably should’ve gotten a smaller cone but it was good. The staff was friendly and ready to make a recommendation per my preferences. It was a little pricey for an ice cream cone (seven dollars) but I have a feeling nothing at the Avalon is cheap.

This Ice cream spot is so wonderful. The ice cream is delicious. As soon as you walk in the scent is just amazing. They have so many great in house flavors. My friend and I got 3 scoops and we loved our ice cream. Luckily we went on a day with no wait time. I will check out Jeni ice cream in Houston too!

Keeping it simple. Ice cream wasn’t worth the wait. We waited in the long line for 20mins anticipating a different kind of treat. Sad to say, they were asking customers to download their app to preorder to reduce the long line. Finally got inside and was informed that they were out of my daughter’s favorite flavor of mint chocolate chip. Staff was fine but was short and very curt to move the line along. No time to enjoy their shop or browse all their flavors or even ask to try different flavors - gotta keep moving or else. Menu was okay but then again wasn’t allowed to look around so not much here. Prices was okay for the somewhat okay ice cream. Cleanliness was good. Outdoor seating to enjoy the ice cream was nice but again the area is absolutely overcrowded and a little annoying with inconsiderate people. Overall it was nothing outstanding but something to try and see for yourself though.

There was a bit of a long wait but i was definitely worth it. The honey vanilla bean was really good. They have a variety of unique flavors.

Is it even a trip to Avalon if we don't stop by Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream? Spoiler alert: The answer is no! This place is the cherry on top of any outing, and we're not just talking about their sundaes. The flavors at Jeni's are like a scoop of happiness. They're inventive, creamy, and oh-so-delicious. You've got your classics, your seasonal specials, and everything in between. It's basically a palette of pure joy. So, shoutout to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream for making our trips to Avalon even more memorable. You've made fans out of us, and we'll be back for more scoops very soon!

Jeni's has a wide variety of flavors and none of them are boring! The waffle bowl was really good too. We ordered some of the limited flavors in pints and the employees kept them in the freezer for us until we were done with our ice cream. It is a bit pricy for ice cream,but worth a try!

I could smell the waffle cones from down the street. The ice cream was amazing. It was so fresh and yummy. And the cones tasted as good as they smelled. Can't wait to go back!

I have always seen long lines at Jeni’s and never had the courage to stand in line for ice cream. Todayw as the day we decided to come here as I heard lot of good things about them. We waited for like 20-30 mins, there was option to buy from app and go directly to counter without standing in line but since it was our first time we wanted to sample the flavors first. Once we got it, after trying multiple samplers, I settled down wirh Rainbow Frozen Yogurt with Hi Five. Wifey got Rainbow with Salty Caramel. Kids got Coffee with sugar and Vanilla. All the flavors were good actually. My next target will be Lemon with Gooey Butter cake. Suggestion for owner: You are doing awesome job, just try to make the line move quicker. Suggestion for Customers: If you know what to get, just order from app, it’s much easier and quicker. Flavor - Star - 8 / 10 Authenticity of Flavor - Star - 8 / 10 Cleanliness - Star - 8 / 10 Service - Star - 7 / 10 Value for Money - Star - 7 / 10 Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews.

Great tasting ice cream in a good location with lots of foot traffic, plenty of shops and restaurants. There is a good variety of different flavors of ice cream to choose from and the waffle cones are very tasty too. They apparently have different promotions because I was there when the ice cream shop was giving away “free “ ice cream. Yes I said free!!! The line was a mile long and on one of the hottest days so far 😩. However, people were willing to wait to get what I will call the best tasting ice cream I have had so far. Good Job Jeni’s👌🏾

Ice cream 🍦 was tasty. Thought there would be more flavor choices. Service was ok I guess, the young lady (1.5 stars, she broke both waffle cones) that helped us did not seem interested in helping anyone 🙄 🤔 before us, us, or after our order....

Most delightful ice cream and great service. Enjoyed myself. The whiskey pecan was my ultimate favorite! The buttercrisp waffle cone draws you in, the service pleases you, and the ice cream makes you return for more. Win-win-win!

I've had ice cream EVERYWHERE and this is the best ice cream I have ever had in the world. The line is long for good reason and for those who know, we don't mind the wait. Butter Almond Brittle + The darkest chocolate (doesn't taste anything like the normal burnt bitter dark chocolate you normally think of) and you're in ice cream heaven. Go to the one on Paces Ferry next to whole foods, the one in midtown in the "Provisions" across from the water plant or the one at Krog street on the belt line. You'll be glad you did.

The ice creams are good, a bit buttery for my taste, but it's the atmosphere that makes us want to eat there, the place to hangout and enjoy your ice cream at night.

Jeni's is always our late night ice cream spot. They have variety of flavors which wouldn't be available in any other icecream shop. My favorite is always Texas Sheet cake which is a dairy free option. Definitely recommending this place to all Icecream lovers! 🤎

Very busy, usually a good sign! Waited 15 minutes in the rain to try it. Soft ice cream in many unique flavors. Ordered a scoop of coffee and a scoop of salted caramel on one of 6 orders, and they only put the coffee. (Which was fabulous, but I wanted the caramel also) was not expecting the taste, it’s different than typical ice cream. Overall good experience. Clean store, fun location.

Always a challenge to get in with the long lines but when you are able to get your scoop in... It beats every Ice Cream place around. Service is amazing with the friendly staff and the ice cream is incredible. The flavors are unique and delicious. Get your ice cream and hang out around the nice outdoor fire place or swings. Try weekdays to avoid the lines

Tried their Salted Caramel and Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chips and while they were delicious, they were just a tad bit too salty. Their freshly made waffle cones were so good, full marks for that! The service was a bit slow but I guess that's what I get for trying to get ice cream on a Sunday 🤣
