Had lunch on Saturday here. the place was busy luckily we got a table (no waiting 😃) The food was delicious we had Marlow's famous hummus, Chicken Panini, Banh Mi Wrap and peach and ginger martini. Loved the fried okras. Great customer service. They also have a small patio/outdoor dining space. We'll be back soon.

My wife and I had an incredible first time in The Avalon thanks to Marlow's Tavern. Our server, Chemere, was truly great. The place stupid busy, but we felt taken care of and welcome. I ate the black n' bleu burger and my wife had the chicken panini. We started with the flatbread, which the day we went was "Hawaiian" and delicious. All the food was awesome. Chemere was awesome. We will be back the next time we pass through The Avalon.

I came for lunch with a client and we had a couple drinks and some quick shareable food. It was pretty busy but the staff handled it well. I felt like our needs were met with exceptional speed and attention. It felt like we were the only people there. I had the seafood flat bread and it was very good! Will be back.

Absolutely recommend the shrimp and grits with bacon! They do two seared grit patties, lots of shrimp and bacon in a wine sauce. We ate every bite. It was fantastic. I wish I had remembered to take a picture. Our server Melina was also fantastic. She was happy to be at work and very attentive. All around great experience.

I just had the most amazing service at Marlows Avalon. Courtney took care of me and made my experience so delightful! I also met many others this evening who were amazing! Chelsea at the bar made me a delicious virgin drink that was to die for. Bianca, Alex, Alena, and more also stopped by to check on me during my time here! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!

We ordered the grouper sandwich and tavern burger. I have no complaints about the food or service. We were served in a very timely manner, especially considering how busy it was, and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. However, I’m not sure if the experience or food justified such high prices.

Love Marlow’s Tavern, but this one was exceptional! Service was on point and one of the best we’ve ever had, cheers Derek! Food was delicious, not over cooked because we always order well done and almost always comes burned on other Marlow’s. Fries were perfect, not swimming on oil, fresh. Please keep up the good work! It’s hard to find a place that cares and delivered good food at the same time.

You fool me once, you fool me twice. Terrible restaurant. Only in business because of alcohol sale and location. This is the second time we ended up here and it will be the last. The burger was first under cooked then the returned it burnt. The fries were cold and soggy. Very disappointing

We have eaten here many times and the food is always good. Last night we had the cauliflower app and veggie burgers. The t were both amazing. The veggie burger was the best I have ever had. I appreciate the fact that they make their own party and it’s not loaded with soy!

Horrible. Will never return. First time to this location as I love the one in Sandy Springs Prado Shopping Center. 1. Walked in.. multiple waitresses just stared at me. No hello, no nothing. 2. Just about made my way to the kitchen to see if I could be seated.. started to think it was a seat yourself restaurant style. 3. Once I did get seated.. two waitresses literally walked passed me didn’t say anything… No, I’ll be right with you, no nothing. 4. Great patio heater Started to feel the “is it because Im black vibe 🤔” idk.. but I was hungry so I left & went over to True Food Kitchen & had a wonderful experience!!!!

Great wings and burgers. Strong drinks. Excellent service. We were in the Alpharetta area, for our anniversary, and chose Marlow’s Tavern for a quick, casual, dinner. We were not disappointed. The burgers were great and the wings were fresh and tasty. The service was quick and attentive—and the environment was pleasant. We’d definitely make a return trip!

I got takeout. Ordered parmesan truffle fries & the jumbo lump crab cake. The crab cake was terrible. It was running & there were no jumbo lumps. The parmesan truffle fries were decent.

OMG!!! That was the best Blue Cheese burger I ever had. I’ve been in many places, but only here I found a great tasting Burger. Also the Truffle Parmesan Fries… perfect… I could really taste the Truffle and Parmesan. Congratulations Marlon’s Tavern team.

Marlow's Tavern Avalon App. Tavern wings: Regular sauce (not spicy). Honey mustard sauce (a little ting but not spicy). Both were great, but I liked the regular wings better. Wings came with a creamy blue cheese dip, celery and carrots. Entrees: Royale with cheese with special sauce and caramelized onions cooked well done, and truffle oil and garlic fries. Even though the double patties were cooked well done, the burger was juicy and full of flavor. Fish tacos had lots of fish (mahi) and the slaw on top was tasteful. We asked for the the chili sauce on the side. It had a little ting but not spicy at all. The food tasted great. Our server was very polite and hospitable. He gave suggestions that weren't on the menu and he had a very upbeat vibe. The atmosphere had a laid back come as you are vibe. There was a nice crowd, but no wait 5:00 arrive time on a Saturday. The restrooms are one person only. There was a short line for the women's. But three restrooms total...men, women and family. Marlow's Tavern is a favorite but this was our first visit at the Avalon. We are definitely going back.

Good place to go for drinks, but I cannot recommend the food. The appetizers weren't bad, but the main courses were not at a high standard. No seasoning, over-cooked fish,etc.

Not sure what happened but it was off. The classic French fries were oily and soggy to which the waitress confirmed that several customers complained about the fries. It's basically the oil they use is not HOT enough. They remade the fries but same soggy and oily fires. Hard to mess this up but it happened...twice.

We had the veggie burger and cauliflower wrap. Both were decent taste wise. At $10 each, both dishes are very reasonably priced too.

The greeter was a bit overwhelmed, seated a family of 9 that came in after me, but my server Dillon and the food made up for that. Dillon was super awesome, suggested drinks and dishes, very knowledgeable, the best customer service ever. I will definitely visit Marlow's Tavern again.

We always enjoy our visits to Marlow's . The food is always fantastic. The service is great. And it's a great value. They're also very accommodating with making sure the TVs have games on that we want to watch. It's a great place to get good food and meet up with friends.

Had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. We also ordered the French dip sandwich which was super yummy. The creme brulee was awesome. The sangria and margarita was good. Overall the food was great, will be back.

Cute restaurant next to Regal cinemas at Avalon. Very good service and decent food with nice ambience.

It was a long wait, but the Blackberry Mojito was worth it. The fish tacos and asparagus fries sealed the deal. Good service and food arrived quickly.

The food tastes good when you eventually get it, but the service is slow and they refuse to hold a table. I have a 30 minute lunch break and I can't wait 20-30 minutes for my food to come out. They said the best they were willing to do is make my order to go and I would have to leave to eat my food. What kind of service is that for the hospitality industry? There are plenty of other good restaurants in this area that don't tell me I would have to leave and eat their food elsewhere.

Fantastic food and great service tonight too. Per usual with Marlow’s - you never disappoint. We had the smoked trout dip for an appetizer and it was so delicious. My husband almost always gets the shrimp and grits because it’s so delicious, and I got the grilled salmon and it was perfect - awesome flavor and perfectly cooked. Busy night but wait staff and cooks handled it perfectly. Our server Chelsea was spot on - friendly, efficient and thorough! A great night all around.

Nearly $18 after tip, and when I got home and opened up the Poke Wontons I ordered to go, this is what it looked like when I opened the box. I never complain, but I will be ordering them from Yard House from now on. You get twice as much and better presentation there even with to go than you do here. Bummed!

This location gets super busy, so service can be a miss. However, if you look past that, it's still good bar food like you'd find at any other Marlow's. Prices are a tiny bit higher than other locations, but it's not outrageous. Don't count on bathroom access though. During dinnertime, the lines are obnoxious.
