Simple, but tasty food. My husband tried a flight of beers. And the atmosphere was modern and clean. We had never gone before as we weren't sure how family-friendly they would be and always have our young teenager with us, but she enjoyed that they had board games available, and loved the flat bread pizza. The reuben and kettle chips were great. The soft pretzel just right, and the flat breads very good, and so we just had to try some dessert! The cinnamon roll was hot and fresh, but the deep dish chocolate chip cookie was the absolutely perfect! Also, the staff, especially the guy behind the counter were super friendly and we really enjoyed our first time here!! All in all a great experience. I might suggest you let people more obviously know you are family friendly as we almost missed out on a tasty, simple dinner spot!!!

Awesome little brewery with a wide variety of in house brews. The also have a small selection of food, tailored to taste with the brew. Neat inside and out. They add Lao have a inside and outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend trying out the Ruben and the Universal Sound! Common John…come and check them out!

Stopped by Common John Brewing Co on the way home from Nashville. Easy location to get to off the interstate. Nice atmosphere, interesting men’s room :) The beers were great! My favorite was the Deeper Purpose porter. We also got a flight since there were so many options. Nothing we had we did not enjoy. The chicken salad sandwich was pretty tasty too! Bartender was awesome, will definitely return on our next trip to Nashville.

Enjoyed a nice cold flight after a long hike with friends. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was absolutely amazing! We had a great time just hanging out on the patio under the umbrella. Definitely a great place to checkout!

Common John is always a favorite spot of ours when we can find the time. Usually we drive down to hang out on a Sunday afternoon and enjoy their great beers and friendly vibe. Last night my wife had the idea that she could meet me after work, since my job is now relatively close. Though she had to drive from Nashville. I typically avoid restaurant type places with live music in the evening because the music is almost always too loud which kills the ambiance and ruins the experience. I knew CJ was known for their musical artists in the evenings and thought I would give them a shot. I arrived just after 7:30 PM Friday night and the parking lot was absolutely packed! I love to see that, and that the community has really embraced this great brewery. I met my family inside and though Common John was very busy, service was quick, friendly, and the beers were as tasty as ever. I was also very happy to hear that Common John has perfected the music balance of their live performers, something that is extremely difficult to do. Plenty loud enough to enjoy their performance, but not too loud to prevent normal conversation, of which there was a lot among the joyful patrons! My better half had the tasty baked wings, they even customized double-baked them since she wanted the wings extra crispy. I had the hippy pizza, which was fantastic. The porter, Vienna Lager, and American pale ale were all true to style and delicious. Common John's brewing consistently is always remarkable. Something that is so difficult, you don't even know unless you've tried it. Manchester truly has their own "Cheers" (with the added benefit of hand-crafted libations) and I'm very happy for them

Pet friendly bar, entertainment and satisfaction guaranteed! Jeffrey was a great host, the brewer had great beer, and the building had great hospitality. Hard to find a brewery with great atmosphere, activities, and amphitheater. ILL BE BACK

Imagine a combination of the best features of a German beer garden and a British pub. That's Common John's in a nutshell. Good food - pizza, soft pretzels, Reuben sandwiches, chips - great beer, friendly service, family atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness, and even entertainment, that's what you'll find at Common John's. Open Wednesday through Sunday at different times, the Brewery offers not only their own beers and ales, but the best of several other microbreweries in the South are kept on tap - 20 choices in all. I recommend the Cut & Dry Pilsner and the Heathen Child Vienna lager. You will also find golden ale, IPA, pale ale, porter, and several ciders - all fresh and on tap. Bottom line: Common John's is a great place for an afternoon or a night out. And did I mention their reasonable prices? It's a bargain!

Great atmosphere, fantastic beer, and awesome service. Buffalo chicken pizza was amazing, the peanut butter stout mixed with the coffee and cream ale hit the spot, and the strawberry cider layered with peanut butter stout was on another level!

I absolutely love going to Common John's. The staff always makes you feel like a local and a friend. They have the perfect bar food and plenty of games for everyone. On the weekends they have live music. During the summer you can sit outside at their many picnic tables or bring your own chair. Don't get me started on all the varieties of beers they have. My personal favorite is strawberry magic. If I could only tell you one place in Manchester to go, it would be Common John's.

There are so many options on tap, something for everyone. And they keep adding new flavors. It's a great atmosphere. They often have live music. The bartenders are cool, and helpful. They've got a nice outdoor seating area, as well as plenty of seating inside. Highly recommended stop for anyone who who likes great beer!

Nice place that serves other beers than the ones they produce. Family friendly and lively Wednesday night crowd. They play a game called "singo". I will be back. I met the proprietor" Le Bron" and he was super cool. 😎

This place is awesome! We stopped by on our way through town and will definitely be back. The staff (including the owner) was super friendly and helpful with food and beer advice. Their brews are all delicious but they have lots of taps of other good beer, too. The pizza was wonderful, and the pretzels and angus hot dogs all hit the spot. The facility is very cool and super clean. There is an indoor stage and an outdoor stage with a variety of seating options. I highly recommend visiting!

MY FAVORITE PART OF MANCHESTER! My fiancé, pup and I came here while camping at Old Stone Fort Park and we'd drive the hour back just to come here. Got a chance to chat with one of the owners and she was so hospitable- from bringing our dog some water and us and umbrella for shade, to offering local recommendations and giving some of the kids here toys to play with. Love some southern hospitality! The beer is excellent!! All of the ones we tried were great and I just couldn't pick a favorite. They have a large selection of their beers along with some good complimentary brews from some other local spots. We only tried theirs own brews and loved them all!! All of the beer has fun music themed names like "these pink boots were made for walking." (Try this brew!!) They have a great selection of food too. Lots of pizza and sandwich options! There was also a little sandwich truck parked outside that seemed popular. The owner told us they have music weekend nights on their cute outdoor stage, and a beer fest in the fall! Will definitely be back to check these out! Loved everything here! 10000/10!

This was our first time visiting! We came with a group of friends & had a blast! We ate our way through the menu & have to say the pizzas are fantastic! Everything we tried was delicious! The beer is cold, the staff was knowledgeable & fun! Those Torpedo taters were delicious! We stay until closing & will definitely do it again soon!

This place is awesome! My husband and I love breweries with good beer and even better stories. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and at home. It is laid out well and a perfect place meet new friends or just enjoy who you came with. The “family owned feel” translates into the beer and the food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️THE CJ SAUCE! The hippie pizza has officially changed the game for brewery food for us. This place is worth a trip just for them! We cannot wait to go back!

Cannot find this place. Would love to try it. An address or a phone number would be nice.

Ok, it was not the best Hefeweisen or Ruben, but they were not bad either. Nice setup with a band playing and friendly folks is what earned the 5 stars (I'd say 4.5 and rounded up)

What a fantastic spot filled with delightful people! We were caught in a storm with our dog, who gets really anxious. She wasn't her best self but the staff were so kind, gracious & understanding. We had some great beers, and the food was also stellar! Looking forward to making it a regular stop when in the area!
