First timers here and while we loved it. There are some things to know for you newbies out there... Get there early. Parking was only $10 in the garage outside. Had a bar but you cannot take drinks in when sitting down. You should only get up during intermissions. Lots of stairs so hit up the elevator. Dress Nice. If you can't sit in silence and appreciate a show, don't go. Ours was a "happy hour" event and it was formal.

As always, a Kauffman Center is beautiful! We have gone to the Kansas City symphony for the princess bride. As well as seeing Bluey. What a treat! Bluey did an amazing job at making sure the audience/kids was included. This was fantastic. Princess Bride also encouraged the audience to cry, laugh, and quote the movie. Both shows were great!

An absolutely stunning venue. A must visit on any trip to Kansas City. Even if you only have time to take a tour, it’s well worth the stop to see the architecture.

The Kauffman Center always exceeds my expectations. The performances are outstanding, the facilities are top-notch, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a first-class cultural experience. The only reason this is four stars is because the closed captioning system in the seats. It hasn’t been working for about a year now and they have yet to give an update on when this will be fixed.

Drove up for the Sound of Music and we could not have been more please. The cast, venue and staff were outstanding! We’re already thinking about coming up again for more shows. Wonderful day!

A very special place. Paid parking is well worth it. Photo I posted is the view from the upper Grand tier (cheap seats) which can be a bit unnerving since you're so high up and your view is obscured by the low railing so unless you are very tall, you're forced to fold forward in half to see the performers. Acoustics were great! Didn't miss a note but the mic was lacking because it was difficult to impossible to make out what people said unless they spoke each word slowly.

I've had this on my KC bucket list for some time and finally went to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Was in the second highest row but still a great view. Would look into different seats if stairs are an issue. Overall really enjoyed it and price was reasonable for the experience.

As a venue, the Kauffman Center is excellent. Parking is conveniently placed underground. Having attended with my Grandma, the many escalators and stairs were a must. Our seats were in the highest balcony, but our ability to hear and see was NOT compromised. All staff we encountered were more than helpful. I look forward to experiencing another event there.

👍 Kelce Brothers Podcast New Heights was well situated and the seats were average as far as comfort goes. The music hall had perfect sound and can hold a large crowd. The show smooth and clean. Chiefs and Eagles fan had great energy. The parking is really good across the street. $6 hour and close. Lov...
