Best Italian food I've ever had for a relatively affordable price! Loved the service and atmosphere here, a really cozy little restaurant tucked near the highway.
The pizza is very tasty, the dough is very soft and airy, toppings and cheese very generous. The pasta we ordered seafood ones also surprisingly very delicious, portion enough for 2 people, the seafood also generous, ambiance wise very cozy, family friendly.
Take away via Grab!! Great food… cant wait to dine in!!
I went to La Familia last sat 8-feb-2025. I ordered lamb rack and super upset with the serving. Was serve 4pcs small pieces of lamb no salad no mash potatoes just a plain lamb rack with mayonnaise n rosemary that it. And I'm paying RM90. You can finish the pieces in one bites.
We decided to visit La Familia after hearing great reviews and recommendations about their Italian and Mexican dishes. Unfortunately, we were thoroughly disappointed. The Margarita pizza was average at best. While the dough was decent, half of it was slightly burnt. They clearly skimped on the tomato base, mozzarella, and basil. The basil was so finely torn that there were likely only 3 leaves in total. We also ordered the beef and lamb tacos, which were a big letdown. The meat, veggies, and sauces didn’t complement each other at all – it felt like we were eating each ingredient separately. The worst part was the beef nachos. The corn chips were mixed with Doritos spicy cheese-flavored chips, which felt like a cheap trick. Both guacamole and sour cream were missing, and the minced beef tasted like it was just stir-fried in oil, lacking any real flavour.
Great food! Lovely place and great service by the staff. Really enjoy the food and desert. Worth the price, will be back for sure!
This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. I've gotten delivery twice, and have tried the Tagliatelle Alfredo, Margherita pizza, and Beef Quesadilla. Everything has been amazing!!
Ordered a garlic prawn, on the menu it’s de shell prawn but when food arrives it’s prawn with shell. I ask for slice of lemon but the waiter gives me a lime instead. Again asking for lemon slice and the waiter gives me this kind of lemon slice, so un proper and can’t even squeeze. My friend ordered squid ink instead getting a black colour spaghetti with tomato sauce. The waiter also can’t really speak english. Need to improve more on service side.
Best pizza in jb. Nice atmosphere 👌🏾
Place is clean . Food is affordable price and good taste. Service is good , they did follow up for quality checked ✅. Atmosphere is calm and relax . We tried on weekdays afternoon , the place is so quiet and our type of environment .
Mexican and italian food all in one. I had a take on their pizza and a drink there. Can say thier pizza is unique as its baked. The nice thing is the cheeze can come off the pizza. Had a mojito there. Its refreshing. But a bit pricy for a meal here. Anyways the place is tucked away near town. So that explains the price point. Overall RM70 for a pizza and a drink. Of course i cant finish and took away home.
This restaurant probably has some connection with Zaituna from the other side.. Coz the deco n colours look about the same 😅 But anyway, we had 2 pizzas - Napolitana n Alfredo, 1 plate of the chicken wings, tiramisu, strawberry milkshake, ice coffee and hot peach tea.. Yes, both the pizzas were good (the Napoletano pizza contains anchovies - can be quite salty for some).. Chicken wings were quite dry, supposed to be served with their homemade sauce (menu says), but we had to ask for the sauce coz it wasn't sent together, n tht took them a while to send us.. Strawberry milkshake was good, the peach tea was OK but the ice coffee was quite diluted.. Final closure for our brunch, simply, we ordered tiramisu (RM27, mind you, for a size of about 2" x 5")...However, tht was our big disappointment. Sorry to say, for tht kind of price, they should make it properly. They seriously need to re-learn making this dessert.. B4 they can price it tht much. We didn't even finish it up.. Price wise, yes, can be quite costly for the locals.. But don't compare their pizzas price with other famous brands.. So, if ur just looking to try out their Pizzas, yes, you can come here.. For desserts, you might as well go to other local bakers cafe etc to have ur pencuci mulut.. Hope some of the menu pics attached help..
Went here for dinner with my wife and friend. Order 2 pizza (napolitana and alfredo) and 1 quesadilla (beef). I had napolitana before at other italian restaurant and had to try it here. So far the pizza were good, got a bit different with i had before. Maybe different restaurant got different recipes, right? You can’t compare with the other 2 “usual pizza brand” as it not the same. The quesadilla was good, different with Taco Bell. A little bit thin but the beef was good, full of recipe. We enjoy our dinner and their staff also very good. The food service was fast and we have a great time. Thank you and wish you all the best 👍🏽
I don't regularly consume Italian cuisine, but this restaurant is an exception. The Mexicano Pizza we ordered was superb, tasty, and authentic. Soft beef taco was flavorful and tasted like real taco. Alfredo tagliatelle was on point, fresh, and portion was just nice. Creamy mushroom soup served with garlic bread was a favorite. I recommend this place for anyone looking for halal and authentic Italian food. Yalla guys!
Food: must try - prawn garlic, pizza and spagetty. To avoid - ginger tea (have decemt arabic taste/smell) and all thier drinks is too sweet (ask for less sugar if needed), tiramisu (expensive, small portion and too middle east style). They offer weird hot sauce (i prefer tobasco). Price: overall from the picture rm165 Service: only one of the waiter can speak english (visit on 27 dec 2024). Atmosphere: colourful and instagrammable place. Toilet cleanliness can be improved.
