The resort is full of greenery. An ideal place to enjoy a day in the lap of nature. The resort has beautiful flowers and fruit trees. Our stay was not comfortable due to the below reasons. 1. We reached the place on 13th Aug 2023 at 2 pm. When we reached our room was not cleaned. We waited outside and they cleaned. 2. The washroom is not good. The exhaust fan did not work. The floor was wet till we left the room. 3. We booked premium cottage and we have been given room which they should not provide. 4. My parents were next to our room. Washroom was stinky. Here also the exhaust fan was not working. 5. After our complaint they came at 9.30 pm. Nothing can be done at that time. They managed somehow. 6. Lunch had both veg and non veg. Non veg food like biryani was good but veg food are not tasty at all. Somehow I managed. They should not charge rs 350 for only veg food. 7. Chair, tables in the dining hall was not clean. 8. No room service at all. They provided only two soaps. We did not use their towel too. Apart from service and room quality the scenic beauty of the resort is amazing. We have roamed around amidst of greenery. Filled our lungs with fresh air. Breeze is refreshing. You can stay outdoor for infine time to watch the beauty of greenery. Hotel management should take care of the rooms properly before it alloted to anyone. Inside a beautiful resort stinky room is definitely not acceptable.

Resort is secluded location. Staff is courteous. But some rooms are very old. Due to forest location, many insects are found in rooms. Power had gone multiple times when we stayed there. Sometimes cat enters the kitchen. This may be worrying for some folks. But beautiful location and calm place.

Had a mixed bag experience at Zeenath Taj. The property itself is beautiful. There are large open spaces with plenty of games and activities for children, and the wooded areas are great for walks. The food served was delicious. The poor service, however, ruined our experience. We arrived at the check-in time (12p) to find that our rooms wouldn't be ready for another half an hour. We ended up checking in only at 1pm. We had booked the lunch buffet and discovered that it was only at 2p. This caused major inconvenience since we had young children and an elderly diabetic in our party. Breakfast service also began at 9am, and tea was served starting 5pm. The timings just didn't work for us. We had booked 2 rooms, and instead of being adjacent to each other, we were assigned different floors in the same building. We had no drinking water or working phones in our rooms. The extra cot had no sheets or pillow on it. Our rooms were the newest and the most expensive and yet faced the car parking lot. General impression was of neglect and indifference. We hope the owners can turn the quality of service around since this is a property with great potential.

Pros: 1. Food was extremely tasty. 2. Lots of outdoor space for kids to play. Cons: 1. No room service, not even an intercom. Zero network connectivity in the area. Hence, it was extremely difficult to contact reception. 2. Very less staff. Even to get a bottle of water filled, we had to go to the kitchen ourselves. 3. No ala-carte option. You have to eat whatever they prepare in the buffet. 4. Rooms are very small and not well maintained. 5. Property is not well maintained at all. Lot of potential but zero maintenance. 6. No water bottle or toiletries were provided. 7. Services not up to the mark as per the room charges. 8. Breakfast and dinner is served very late. Quite challenging when you are travelling with a kid or the elderly.

Very nice place. If you are visiting Yelagiri, stay here for getting the best experience. Recommended for a stay of a day or two. I have visited morethan 5 times. It looks like they have done some renovation recently. Don't expect a typical hotel like experience here in the forest area.

Tl;dr Mixed experience, cons more than pros, would not recommend. Pros: As many others have said, the gardens are stunning. Beautifully maintained outdoor space with provision for recreational activities like archery and badminton. There also appears to be a nature trail and a trail for trekking within the property which I'm sure is a plus for those inclined to explore the outdoors. The staff are good with meal time reminders. There are some adorable kittens and dogs in the property that we had a lovely time playing with! Cons: For us, the positive experience ended there. We'd booked the King Suite with Balcony (Deluxe Chalet Suite on their website?) and the cost for 3 nights came to just above 25,000 INR. For such a hefty price, we were definitely expecting a quality experience. However, the rooms were horribly maintained. When we entered, it felt like the the space hadn't been aired out for months. It smelled musty, there were cobwebs everywhere, mold on the walla, a thin layer of dust over the tables and nightstands and the chairs looked like they'd been through a lot. There were also dead leaves and dirt in the bathroom and bugs all over the windowsills behind the curtains. We messaged on their WhatsApp number and asked for the duvets to be changed out as they were damp and giving us a rash, the gentleman who came the first time merely inspected them, sprayed some sickly sweet smelling spray all over the room (?) and made to leave. We requested once more for the duvets to be swapped out for fresh ones and he grudgingly said that someone else would come. We felt like we were imposing on them (?!?) - was very strange to experience this at a hotel. The second gentleman was much more approachable and swapped out the duvet covers only and brought a couple of fresh towels, which we appreciated. However, the damp from the duvet remained. That in addition to the mold exacarbated some of our allergies and breathing difficulties. We faced issues with the hot water as well. Even though we'd keep the geyser on as advised by the second gentleman, the water would turn lukewarm to cold within five minutes. We had to jump through a lot of hoops for a decent shower throughout our stay. After our initial impressions and experience with the room and the first staff member, we were incredibly disheartened. We had no hope that we would be taken care of if we were to raise any issues again. Only then did we sit down to filter their reviews and noted that this was highlighted in many - beautiful property, but unkempt. We decided to just use the rooms to sleep at night as we were put off by how awful our first day was. We had all our meals outside (as we'd noted by reading other reviews by then that the veggie options were not great) bought our own water and generally interacted as little as possible with the staff. We cannot comment on their food, as we did not avail the complimentary breakfast either. I have to mention that when we did interact, the staff were nearly always polite, but distant. We did not feel very welcome at the property from the get go. We were asked on a few occasions about eating in and my mom was even pointedly asked (interrogated might be too strong a word here) about us not having ordered a single tea or coffee or a water bottle and the tone seemed like the staff member took it as an offense. To be honest, we did not want to set ourselves up for disappointment any more. I'm not sure if the other rooms are better maintained, but I definitely would not recommend Zeenath Taj. It does not offer good value for money. There are better places in Yelagiri, albeit not as aesthetic, which offer you a better overall experience for a much more reasonable price. They definitely need to work on maintenance and hospitality to reflect the title of a 3 star hotel. It's a shame because the property truly does have truckloads of potential.

Loved the resort. Best for family and especially kids. We stayed for 2 days it was worth it. Lot of games for kids and playground. The ducks also kept them entertained. The resort is well maintained. Food was ok. There were monkeys so we have to keep door closed Cons: We faced power cut issues. If thats fixed its a perfect stay.

Scenic view. Somany trees, greeny surroundings. Good for family people to spend holidays. Food is good, especially their sweets in lunch and dinner menu. Old Rooms must be maintained with some aesthetic sense. No room service, Bathrooms are very bad in condition.

We had booked the basic rooms through a website but my husband wasn't satisfied so he upgraded the room. It is Pet friendly which was a Plus for us. Food is very good with good variety and a homely feel. The space overall is worth visiting due to its calmness. Service is good. However they can improve overall cleanliness in dining area, balcony etc. You can expect morning coffee after 7 am.

Expensive compared to the facilities provided. The blankets and bed were not clean. Not even a dental kit or tea bags provided in room. Food served is of average quality. Only good thing about the stay is the backyard where we can take a walk and some sports equipments provided for recreation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Zeenath Taj gardens and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and homely environment that instantly made me feel relaxed and at ease. Firstly, I must mention the exceptional food at Zeenath Taj gardens. The meals provided felt like they were lovingly prepared in a home kitchen. The mutton biryani, in particular, was a standout dish that left me craving for more. The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into ensuring that every dish was flavorful and delicious, making each mealtime a delightful experience. What sets Zeenath Taj gardens apart from many other accommodations is its commitment to being an alcoholic-free zone. As someone who prefers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, I was extremely pleased to find that alcohol is not served or permitted on the premises. This policy fosters a family-friendly environment and ensures that guests can enjoy their stay without any disturbances. I greatly appreciated the respect and consideration that comes with this approach. While Zeenath Taj gardens may not have a swimming pool or spa, there are plenty of alternatives for outdoor activities in the surrounding area. The location is conveniently situated near numerous amusement parks, providing fun-filled opportunities for families and individuals alike. Whether it's thrilling rides or leisurely strolls in beautiful parks, there is no shortage of entertainment options nearby. Even without these specific facilities, Zeenath Taj gardens offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The accommodations are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The friendly staff members are always ready to assist and provide excellent service, further enhancing the overall experience. In conclusion, Zeenath Taj gardens is a wonderful choice for those seeking a homely environment and a break from the typical alcohol-infused atmosphere found in many establishments. The excellent food, reminiscent of home-cooked meals, adds an extra touch of comfort and satisfaction. Although there may not be a swimming pool or spa on-site, the abundance of nearby amusement parks compensates for this. I highly recommend Zeenath Taj gardens for families and individuals looking for a relaxing retreat with a warm and welcoming ambience.

It is a 3-star hotel, but the property and the location make it definitely 4 star and possibly a 5-star resort. The place is serene, surrounded by forest. The outdoors was beautiful and clean with lots of seating space, children's play area, and other games. A small coffee shop and nature trail walk add to its services. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. They do not have a restaurant; however, their buffet is excellent. Location is good too. Reachable easily, just as you have climbed the hill and close to the lake. In summary, I think it is the best value for money resort in Yelagiri.

I had great expectations from this place I'm placing an unbiased review with all the pros and cons. PROs: 1. Good area for children to play with lots of games. 2. Rooms are well spaced out in the 11 acre property, which gives privacy. 3. The place offers trekking facility which is available for an additional price. 4. The resort has ample space to walk including nature trail walk inside the premises, lots of greenery and flowers. 5. Madras coffee house is present inside the premises with tasty ragi cookies, tea, coffee, maggi, and rolls. 6. Lot's of Persian cats, exotic chickens, ducks are present for guests to look. CONs 1. The staff's attitude is very bad and they insulted my father when we asked about the timing of the lunch buffet and said to talk to the manager, while the other guests had already completed their lunch and they ordered from ala carte menu. This was unfair and kept all other guests waiting. I had also reached out to get a water refill, but the staff just told me to get it on my own- when you pay a resort for your stay and relaxation this is not what you expect. They were never punctual with their breakfast, lunch and dinner timings and the food was sub-standard. The plates were not cleaned properly and they still had grease (which was not a good experience), they also smelled bad. 2. The bathroom's napkins in the sink were soiled and were not replaced when we first checked in. 3. There is no AC, this was okay in the winter season but during summer please be aware when booking a room. If you are willing to overlook these things and if you want a quick escape from the city life, you can visit this place, but with caution. I felt guilty of asking for things even though we booked rooms and checked in as guests, of it was possible to remove the 1 star, I would have done that, would not do a re-visit.
