BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had!!! If you’re vegan, this place has so many options and they take great care to make it how you ask. I’ve *never* had an incorrect order from this restaurant and I order at least once a week. Can’t recommend it enough. The photo is of my usual order, soy chorizo tostada with soy chorizo corn tacos. Delicious.

Outstanding. The staff are friendly, the food is out of this world, and everything can be made vegan. Easily the best Mexican food in the Naperville area.

Stoped by for the first time yesterday. Food and service was good. Staff was very friendly. Got the chilaquiles. They were good. To add al pastor and get a medium drink it cost around 20 bucks though. Would eat here more if it wasn't as expensive for the meal I like. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area though.

We were passing through Naperville and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try! Nothing special, limited choices and expensive for the quality of food. Had heartburn, bloating and my mouth still feels greasy! Awful sensation. You will have the food in a box without fork and knife, and will not be able to wash your hands before and after eating, as they don’t have restrooms. Very poor quality of food! Had “Large” quesadilla, first was not that large, á way too greasy and doesn’t taste good! But the staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful. Would give them 5 stars. Small place, but nicely decorated! However, would never go back there again.

I ate at Totopos for the first time yesterday and everything was amazing! The staff was so friendly and the place itself was so cute. The best authentic Mexican food!! The food was delicious and so fresh! This will be a new regular spot for me, I can’t wait to go back!

Very disappointed.. I work down the street from them I go there regularly for lunch but for the last 3 orders I know I ordered rice and they always forgot my rice!! They are expensive and I see they have quality food but for spending 70 dollars and the cashier knows she messed up couldn't slide in rice for her mistake!! 3 times in a row you messed up my order and couldn't throw in a rice that cost 2 bucks to make!! I'm done with this place.. Taco Dale is my new spot..

My daughter is a picky eater but she had no problem with her meal, she barely complained (she's 5). The place was small but the food was excellent!!

Heard this place serves authentic Mexican food and we certainly agree! The restaurant is a bit tiny, with 3 tables in total, one to seat four, and the rest seats two. But don't be fooled by the size and the people inside the restaurant, a lot of people come for takeout, which means these guys are popular for a reason, we will be returning guests too!! However, be aware, as the sign in here says, "authentic Mexican food takes time." Every word in this phrase is true... Today, we ordered steak, chicken and jamon tacos and a steak asada quesadilla. The tacos came with corn tortilla, which wasn't our favorite, we prefer flour, but it was actually pretty decent, not dry but was soft and moist. It came with two tortillas each and lots of meat, which we split it up and ended up with 6 tacos, still had more fillings than some Mexican places! The meats had balanced seasonings and tastes pretty good. If I had to be picky, it lacks certain sweetness and was a little dry. I don't know if its just us, but it seems like everyone here ordered everything on the menu except tacos... In comparison, our other item, the steak asada quesadilla was awesome! Every detail checked the awesome box for us, from the tortilla, to the steak, flavors and to the cheese! I will definitely be back for this! In summary, this is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant, suitable for takeouts, and is true to its slogan "authentic Mexican food takes time." We will be back to try the rest of their menus!

This vegetarian is grateful! Wow, the food is fresh and delicious. I was told my order would take a little longer to prepare (??? A total of less than ten minutes for hot, fresh food is NOT a long wait in my opinion...) because they used a separate area on the skillet to cook vegetarian food. Wow! That is so refreshing. I will make a point to order from your wonderful restaurant in the future. A restaurant that serves healthy, fresh, authentic gourmet Mexican food AND has lo5s of vegetarian options AND

They have vegan/vegetarian dishes. The taste is really good. It has become my goto Mexican restaurant. Kudos to the owners.

Charming small family business! The owners welcomed us and I felt like I had known them for years! Delicious food! The guac is outstanding! We loved the enchiladas. What a little gem!

My wife and I have loved everything we've tried here: tacos al pastor, tortas, enchiladas, sopes, and quesadillas. Pictured: sopes and quesadillas tlaxcaltecas. Awesome Mexican classics and awesome different things I've never tried before, like a spicy peanut salsa. And the vegetarian menu is legit!!

First time trying this restaurant as it was recommended to me and the food was amazing. I had a chipotle cemita with Arab style meat and it was to die for!! Definitely coming back!! I will say that that there was a bit of a wait due to lots of online orders, but it was so worth it!

Food is a bit price but. It’s tasty. However, kinda stingy w/ the salsa sauce. Having a huge burrito isn’t enough for it. Gave 2- tiny container.

Best Mexican food in Naperville. Their salsas are among the best. Be prepared to wait longer for your food but it will be worth the wait.

Really fresh, not much seating but this place is super friendly. The chips seemed to be store bought but the meat tasted really good and that says something since I'm from Cali. The guacamole was great and the salsa was a bit grass tasting but I definitely would go back for the burittos.

Got the steak taco dinner and a chicken enchilada. If you don’t order ahead you will have to wait a little bit because everything is made fresh. Nice portion sizes. The meat was seasoned well and not tough/chewy. The staff was super friendly. The to go sauce cups are tiny so if you’re a person that likes sauce ask for extra. Good place for take out as it’s pretty small and not a lot of sitting room. Definitely some place that I would order from again.

This place is the real deal for authentic and delicious Mexican food. The tacos and rice were perfect. I will definitely put this at the top of my to go place for tacos and burritos.

Very good and authentic Mexican cuisine; in addition they have an excellent vegan/vegetarian menu. Everything is served in takeout containers. The seating area is very small; two small tables outside and two small tables inside. The place is clean. Plenty of parking.

We tried this spot for the first time. We were shocked by the special vegan/vegetarian menu. We had the soy sausage torta and tostada. Also tried the soy meat tostada. We’ll be back to try more items!

It is an authentic Mexican restaurant. It is just a regular Mexican food spot with a variety of options on their menu. I would really love to try them all, but I only ordered a steak burrito. The whole place is clean, and it is just a small spot, and the kitchen is visible inside, and it is clean as well. The employees are very nice and friendly to all of the customers. The service is fast, even if the place is busy. I ordered the medium steak burrito at a fair and reasonable price. It is just a medium-sized car, but it looks like a large car to me considering its huge portions. It was delicious and definitely packed with good, authentic Mexican flavor. I did not add any extras to it, and for me, it is good as it is, but it is still anyone’s decision to add something, but all I can say is that it alone, with everything in it, is definitely delicious. The place is very accessible and is situated near other good spots as well. There was a lot of parking around the area, so it was not really a problem. I definitely love this authentic Mexican restaurant and I will also highly recommend it to my family and friends. I would say that it is one of the good spots in the area!

As a vegetarian, Totopos has great options beside just grilled vegetables to fill their various dishes. I highly recommend their soy meat burrito. I have been going here for years and it is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The inside of Totopos is gorgeous as well.
