Great beach. Only a short cab ride from the cruise terminal. It’s probably walkable but that’s less time on the sands. Nice well priced bar and good sun loungers. Few interruptions and fabulous views. Highly recommended.

Fort James Beach was really nice. Not the nicest on the island but definitely top 5 out of the 11 visited.

Nice beach with lots of rich heritage ..little rough but lots of people still prefer because of walking distance to St John's and surround places.

Nice beach sit, relax and watch the seabirds diving for fish. Lovely beach to swim by or just sunbathe.

Ft James is a little tougher than Luther beaches but is still a great vibe.

The beach is great. But since they built the new resort getting to the beach is a hike.

One of my favorite beaches. Also a popular historian site. Love it.

Love it. A lot of space. Beautiful with some waves.

A private feeling local beach about an hour’s walk from port. Lots of trash and overgrown with vines and bushes in places but in the right spots it feels like you’re all alone on a gorgeous beach. The walk takes you through some rougher areas although we never felt unsafe at all.

Another one of the so many clean beaches on the great island. The Tree House Club is great for group and kids friendly games. Nice natural arrangement here
