Othman and his family are such lovely and welcoming people. They offer an incredible home cooked family style dinner that was delicious and the view from the roof top is incredible. Will stay here again if we come back to Jordan

I'm a solo traveler and the place is excellent and close to everything. And the valley and the amazing of that is that it overlooks the mountains of purchase and the charming and comfortable mountains of Petra, also far away from the noise.

We had an amazing two night stay! While the hostel isn’t walking distance to Petra, it makes up for the gorgeous views in this peaceful and quaint location! Ask for the Mountain View room at reception and the hosts will more than accommodate. It’s a family-owned business, run by very warm people that make you feel at home and are always happy to help out! Breakfast was a great spread with freshly prepared traditional food. Had a lovely experience overall 😊 Easy walking access to pharmacies/supermarkets and fruit shops. Driver facilities provided by the owners as well.

Family run hotel with an amazing view, great value for money and friendly staff! The room was clean and nice. We stayed in a room with private bathroom. There was an AC and also a lovely view of the sun rising over the gorges and canyons. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food was delicious, mostly local and homemade. 12-15 min drive to the Petra Visitors' Center.

My stay at this place was very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and always spotless. The staff stood out for their kindness and attentiveness at all times, making me feel truly welcome. In addition, the homemade food was delicious. After such a lovely night, we decided to return for a second night. We contacted them, and thanks to their flexibility and willingness, there was no issue in arranging it. They have parking available at the entrance. I recommend it to those seeking comfort, kindness, and excellent food all in one place.

We had a fantastic stay here! The staff was incredibly attentive, the rooms were spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the linens were crisp and clean. The room had air conditioning, which was a huge plus. The location is perfect with great views. On the rooftop, there's a restaurant where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and a great shisha. The food, both for breakfast and dinner, was homemade and the quality-price ratio was excellent. We originally booked for just one night, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended for a wonderful and affordable experience. We'd definitely come back!

Very good location of the hostel! There is an incredible view from the room and from the rooftop. The hosts were very kind and will gladly explain everything to you if you have any questions. It was a very nice accommodation.

We are Dutch and travelling Jordan. We had the most wonderful 2-day stay with Othman and his family. We had a nice room with seperate bathroom including rainshower. We were gifted a room with a gorgeous view! Every evening and morning we had a delightful local dinner and breakfast homemade by Othmans wife. He has a lot of useful tips for visiting Petra and helps you with all your questions. He even took the time to give us a tour in his garden to enjoy the herbs and fruits (which are all used in the meals they prepare!). We would absolutely recommend you to visit Plaza View Hostel and get to know Othman and his family as they are extremely hospitable and will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.
