    This little convenience store is in a great location very close to the entrance to Petra. Unfortunately the show keeper knows this and capitalize on the location. We purchased some water and candy bars from the store and were charged the equivalent of around $30 USD. More than 4x the price of other stores in the town. This may have been because we were clearly foreign tourists. Pricing for locals I'm sure is much more reasonable/competitive.

    Recommend that you don't shop here. Items bought 300metres further up the road for .85 charged 2JD here.

    Owner tried to rip us off in a miserable way. Gave us a bad taste of what a tourist trap looks like.

    DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! nothing has a price label and the owner doesn’t even scan, he just makes up prices to rip you off. Abusive!
