Great location, friendly staff, spacious room, clean. Very noisy all through the day/night from traffic/mosque very close/nightclubs/bars etc and the windows do not stop noise at all! Overall we liked it, as it was fairly cheap and provided what we needed

The staff it is very welcoming and they recommended very good places to eat. Unfortunately, there was a big problem with the bathroom. Whatever we were flushing everything was coming back through the drain which it's pretty disgusting. Because that was happening, the smell in the bathroom was awful most of the times. They unclogged the pipe when we told them about this issue. The location it's pretty good, close to many different places. It is loud, but it's Amman, a lot of honking it's going on, getting used to it pretty fast.

Personally, i think this hotel is nice. The staff here is welcoming and the breakfast is included in the fee. The room is spacious and the environment is well-set. Ome thing to pick up may be the bathroom, the bathroom is kind of small and the design and facility of it can be improved better. All in all, it's a good stay for me and my friend.

Booked a night with Airbnb, host replied to us on the chat, everything seemed to be going well. When we arrived the guy at reception informed us the hotel was fully booked and that they hadn't seen our reservation (???). Everything already paid, it was late at night they moved to a cheaper, dirty (cockroaches running around the place) and very far away hotel. Would not recommend AT ALL!! if you got a car you better sleep in it.

The hotel is in a strategic location, just walking distance to Al Rainbow Street which contains cafes and restaurants. I also walked to the center of the crowd, Amman Citadel and the Roman theater but the way there was ups and downs. The room was standard, the TV didn't work well, the bathroom was standard with warm water that didn't come out fast (intermittent), the mattres and pillows were quite soft, drinking water wasn't provided and the credit card machine was broken so I had to pay cash. But the officers were kind and friendly so I was allowed to pay at night. I stayed Saturday night, for one night and the situation at the roundabout was very noisy, which penetrated into my room, I heard car horns, people screaming and it was quite disturbing my rest which required me to wake up very early to tour Petra. This hotel actually also provides tour services to Petra but i already been booking from another company. If I want breakfast I have to pay JOD 3, but I don't need breakfast because I have to check out very early in the morning. Receiption is 24 hours. There are no proper mats when leaving the bathroom so your feet will always be wet when you leave the bathroom. There are also no slippers provided in the rooms. There are so many things that need to be improved at this hotel. but the location is really strategic. To avoid taxi scams, it's best to ask to be picked up from the hotel because it's much more comfortable and the price is in line with airport taxis. Because mass transportation in Amman is not tourist friendly.

The hotel is grate place to stay on the edge of the old town Like most things it seems in Amman every it’s just slightly different!! My room was clean and warm (in February) staff were lovely and helpful. There are shop’s restaurants just across the street and everyone was very helpful I would definitely go back to this hotel again if I was in Amman

We stayed recently at Antika Hotel for a lengthy period of time. A family run business, great people, who cares about their guests and go over and beyond to help. Hotel location is great, right next to rainbow street and 8 minutes walk from city centre. Very good service, and very friendly staff. Also not to forget very clean rooms. The staff treats you with respect and have a positive attitude. Thank you very much for your hospitality and making our stay smooth and easy. We would highly recommend this hotel. Suitable for singles, couples and families... Thank you. Zac, Tamara & Jasmine

A simple hostel in Amman. The location is the biggest advantage of the place, since it is right near the end of Rainbow Street (the main promenade of Amman) and approximately 15 minutes away from the Citadel by foot, although the route is rather steep. The rooms are not the best, the sheets and surfaces were cleaned, although the bathrooms building quality was suboptimal, the bidet was not working but the water pressure was sufficient. One of the rooms were really moldy, though it was not visible, the small gave it away, the other was fine. Beside that, the windows are the only huge downside, since their soundproofing qualities leave some things to be desired and the area of the hotel is rather busy. The service was nice, they fulfilled all of our request, they spoke English well and were really pleasant people altogether.

The walls are really thin so if you're looking for a quiet place, definitely don't go there. I had booked two night and had to leave after the first night because of noisy it was. Positive thing though : the shower was AMAZING !

Pros: Nice place.. Friendly staff (owned and run by a family).. convenient prices..located at one end of Rainbow st..keeps you close to various activities.. close to Roman theatre (less than two miles).. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Amman..then search no more! Cons: small showers, rooms facing main Street can be noisy at night.. but you still can ask for a room on the other side.

It is in a very noisy spot, but close to many shops and restaurants. The hotel is like a very big and old apartment, but not a true hotel. Breakfast was not good.

After a long travel, we reach the hotel that we booked on booking.com a few days before... And the manager just asked us for twice the price, saying Booking made a mistake ! No discussion possible, we had to leave and find another place to stay (we ended up at the Twins Downtown Hôtel, very nice place !)

Very nice service for this price. Rooms are not so spacious but they are very clean and this vintage style of the hotel gives you nice feeling of Amman’s history. Friendly staff, the provided even irom for us!

Great location! Family owned & operated, very friendly! Cons - small shower; no ICE machine, but they made ICE when I asked.

Antique but not comfortable! This tiny guesthouse dos not aspire to become a hotel, inn or even a motel. I haven't personally checked in and spent the night, but my friends have. It's very noisy and the facilities are less than satisfactory. They have complained of the loud music coming from King Hussein Club, a nearby wedding venue. Breakfast and meals in general are very poor, i.e hard boiled eggs with labaneh only for breakfast! However, kudos to the lady owner who employs her special needs (person with disabilities) relative/offspring.
