Yes the owner is nice. But we do not ask him to be nice, but to offer an accommodation service. But first all the hotel smells the cigarette. Also the place where you will have breakfast. So we took it outside. Then our bed sheets smelt someone smell and there were hairs on them. I thought it was hazard, that it wouldn’t be possible that they didn’t clean it. But we stayed 3 nights and I could see the owner make the bed of the room beside the day after. WITHOUT changing bed sheets nor cleaning the room. It was disgusting !!! And the day after I saw a maid cleaning. So I got it : the weekend there is no maid, so the bedsheets are not being washed and the room will be unclean. And you will sleep in the bed of somebody else. Buuurk. At least but not less, the room is in front of the street, so it is very very noisy. An unbelievable experience…

The hotel is located in a very central part of old Madaba - you're close to all the major tourist landmarks. I was fortunate that the owner spoke my language - Romanian, so this made my stay even better. I stayed at this hotel twice during my stay in Jordan - first time when I went to the south of the country, the second time when I came back to Amman. If you have a rented care it's much better to drive it and stay in Madaba, instead of risking the crazy traffic in Amman. At the peak hours, there's traffic in Madaba too, but it's a piece of cake compared to Amman. The second time when I stayed at this hotel I arrived one day in advance due to some unexpected events, but Sameer the owner found a room for me right away. He is helpful, has a lot of knowledge about the area, and organises private tours too. The breakfast is simple and standard, but you feel hearty after eating it. However, the location is in the proximity of a mosque - which means very noisy at 5 a.m. when is the call to prayer.

Nice hotel in the center of Madaba, the manager is an old gentleman who is very kind and accommodating. He knows a lot about the city and Jordan in general so don't hesitate to ask him for some info. The room was fine, nothing extraordinary and a bit old looking but the beds were comfy, the water pressure strong and there was Wi-Fi. The breakfast included was typical of what you can find in Jordan and there was more than enough to feel full with it. Careful as there is no hotel parking but you can park in the street in front of it or you can go around and you should find a parking in the street behind. I recommend it for anyone who would like to stay in Madaba for a few days!

Good value for money. The hotel is a bit run down, but definitely good enough for a short stay. Great location near the important sights. The owner was very kind and helpful and provided us with information about our next stops. Would come back.

Well, you do get what you pay for, so if you want a 5 star hotel look some place else. But this place is nice and basic for traveling on a budget! The host is a friendly dude that makes sure you got everything sorted out. We got hot water in the shower and the beds were good! Breakfast is nice, basic and local.

For 28JD for 2 nights the price point is really good. Definitely a dated hotel, but beds are comfy. It can be noisy outside, but would recommend for anyone on a lower budget. Owner is a nice guy!

Very good place for a fair Price. Rooms are very modest, but clean and tidy. People who run the hotel are helpful and friendly. Small breakfast is included with wonderful nad tasty arabic coffee. Because the hotel is in the city centre, all the attractions are very close. The Madaba's Map is 3 minutes walking.

Run-down place without love. The sink (and the rest probably neither) hasn’t been scrubbed for a while; water leaking through the floor in the bathroom causing a musty smell; no sheets for blankets. Even for a budget place this was not acceptable. The beer was cold and tasty though and breakfast of good standard.

After a bad experience at Madaba hotel we found this place nearby and we liked it a lot. The friendly owner speaks English very well and offer nice meals. There's is functioning WiFi, real hot water and a good free breakfast.

We wanted to leave the hotel at 5 am - unfortunately it was impossible because the main doors were locked. There was an information that the receptionist can be found in room no.1 so I knocked on the door and woke up a poor tourist. When the owner came (at 7 am) he refused to talk with us about this situation and just disappeared. He and his employee were extremely unpleasant. Location is great, there is working AC in the rooms, but overall I would never recommend going there.

I got a clean comfortable bed, a hot shower and a perfectly adequate breakfast in a great location all for 8JOD If it's 5⭐ luxury you're after look elsewhere but otherwise it's perfectly alright.

Unfortunally we only ate in this amazing restaurant, the food was delicious, above all the sajeh chicken but the more preciouse thing was Abu's stories about Jordan Life and advices about the beautiful places near Madaba! We really love the time spent here with him!

I recommend this place to stay and specially a tour with Abu Sameer (or another worker from hotel). I really like location of this hotel. It's quite near to the city center. It's also very close to the most famous sightseeing of Madaba - "Madaba map". I really like owner of hostel. He offered us a trip to the Dead Sea and Hammamat Ma'in (Hot Springs and Waterfalls). We confirmed, and everything was extremelly nice during this trip. Price was very cheap comparing to prices of taxists nearby. Cozy room. It was not super nice. But price of Queen Ayloa hotel is very reasonable for facilities which they offer.
