After arriving late at night, we found dinner waiting for us - with many dishes containing vegetables straight from the farm (Safi is a farming area - from aubergines to bananas). Safi Kitchen is a community guesthouse, with Lot's Cave nearby. The owner was extremely kind. Highly recommended.

We had a pit stop for lunch while we were heading for Amman. The stop was casual but absolutely worth it. The guest house is run by lovely people who welcomed us warmly and made sure we made ourselves at home. The freshly cooked buffet for 10 JOD was delicious, plus they offered us dates, mint tea and coffee to accompany. I recommend including a short visit here to learn more about the Jordanian culture.

I am grateful for this family to have been a highlight in my trip through Jordan. They made me feel just as part of their family and I relaxed in their peaceful farm, with great food and tea, very close to the dead sea, great mountain and wadi hikes. Abo Rached, the manager of the farm will be open to fulfill any request and proposes guides to any outdoor activities.

Only stopped in for lunch so can't comment on the rooms. But, as far as the welcoming hospitality, and the food, I cannot rate this highly enough. Safi Kitchen is an initiative started by one family to give meaningful work and income to the area, and have single handedly given people a reason to continue down the Dead Sea Highway. Great people to have a chat to. Raheem: "petite bite" and good luck with all the languages you learn ;)

Our tour group had lunch here and were delighted to be told about the farm and hostel by the lovely ladies who made our meal. Delicious food from the farm, so fresh and tasty.

This place is a hidden gem, the owner is super kind, open and willing. He told us about this place and its story, while he served us a private "buffet" with genuine and fresh local food. Everything we ate was delicious and very abundant, and he gave us some tea which is truly one of the best I've ever drunk. A child was also there with us and she ate everything, and I must say that she's a big picky eater. Overall I enjoyed having lunch here and I suggest to stop for a meal, it really is worth it, not just for the good food but for the people too.

We arrived here in the middle of a crazy hot day driving from Petra to the Dead Sea hotel area and found a small oasis of kindness, interesting conversations, great service and amazing food. Be aware: to get to the place you have to enter a short road ending with 2 palms. Inside you’ll find a nice family where everyone takes part in making you feel at home. The place is simple but clean, the food is made with local products and recipes (and we also got a small booklet to cook it at home). You taste what has been cooked for the day and pay a more than fair price for it! They have created a place for people to meet, work and - especially for the women of the near village - to get more connections with different people and cultures. All in all great place for a stop in the middle of the hotter place in Jordan.

A great family-run place, nice opportunity to have a glimpse of local lifestyle in Jordan and taste home-made delicious food. All the family members are kind and ready to make you feel at home. Even if the bathroom needs renovation and maintenance, we didn’t mind it that much.

We had the good fortune of visiting Safi Kitchen during our recent stay in Jordan. The place is amazing and the food is delicious! Abdul and his crew welcomed us with open hearts and we cannot wait to visit them again. If you go, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended!

Incredibly friendly hosts who welcome you directly and with open arms. The rooms are simple but sufficient, the heart of this place is the family owning it. Amazing home cooked food. Also got great recommendations for things to do in the area and even got dropped of and picked up from a hike. Highly recommended :)

We were looking for a place to have a late lunch today and found Safi Kitchen. The food was amazing, fresh ingredients and so tasteful! The family was very welcoming and nice. They also told us about the project which is a great cause! Keep up the good work and the great food! Can’t say anything about accommodations

Stopped here for lunch. Safi’s Kitchen offers authentic and delicious Jordanian food. It’s farm to table food with an adjacent garden. The hospitality they showed us was amazing. The owner spent time to talk to us about Safi’s Kitchen and his vision for the community. Highly recommend.

You can’t come to Jordan without visiting this place. This is a family owned hostel and restaurant your food comes directly from the garden and the surrounding fields. Everything here is organic. Moreover, the owner and his family are literally the best people i met during my trip they are the nicest of people and you will feel at home with them. Come visit for tea or lunch/dinner and even spend the night at the hostel I strongly recommand it.

We did the hiking trip. And it was amazing. Starting from the point that the family is so authentic and so welcoming. It made you feel like being a part of it. The hike itself was stunning. It was just us. Literally no one else. Seemed like a hidden spot. We were wearing water shoes which I definitely recommend to bring since you are literally walking in the wild and in the water. Definitely worth it. After the hike we got amazing lunch cooked by one of the family members wife. We absolutely loved it. Thank you so so much for such an incredible experience.

I had a wonderful time visiting at Safi kitchen. Went with a group with G adventures and they were so gracious. The meal was absolutely delicious. The best I had while visiting Jordan. The food is fresh from the fields. I highly recommend stopping here on the way to the Dead Sea.

We just stopped for quick lunch. Safi kitchen is a great spot to visit. Nicest people and great, local, fresh cuisine. They prepare meals with their own products. Perfect place to visit. Highly recommended! Polecamy!

We stayed at Safi kitchen hostel for one night on our bicycle tour through Jordan. The room was nice, clean and provided everything we needed for a good rest. The family was extremely welcoming and they cooked for us a delicious dinner. The son even got up quite early in the morning only to give us some mint tea for the road. On another note: Even if the room is booked, you will most likely be able to stay there. The family will let you slept inside the communal area or allow you to pitch your own tent.

We were returning from Wadi Rum to Amman and stopped here for lunch. The people are very hospitable, friendly and the treatment was great. Then we had a coffee with one of the people who work here and he explained everything they do here. Highly recommended.

Lovely host, great place to stay, amazing food. A haven of tranquility. Highly recommend a stop when travelling through Jordan. Meet local people who are lovely far better than staying a faceless hotel.

We stopped at Al Safi Kitchen on our way back from Petra to Amman. The owner welcomed us warmly. He improvised a little tour of his mansion for us. We tasted the cheese and we even tried on Jordan traditional dresses. The food is delicious. The owner’s wife makes a wonderful spicy chicken. We strongly recommended to try this experience!

Great people, incredibly welcoming and helpful! Came to a rescue when our car broke. The food there was amazing, best we had in whole of Jordan! Very authentic and extremely fresh, the vegetables come straight from their garden! Overall warm atmosphere and nice surroundings too

We really enjoyed our time at Safi kitchen. After a warm welcome with tea and water we had a splendid dinner that we couldn’t even finish. This place is a family-owned hostel and restaurant, we definitely recommend stopping here for an overnight between the Dead Sea and Aqaba. The food is delicious, the conversations really interesting and the place welcoming. Definitely would come back!

Great place! We stopped here to eat lunch on our way from Aqaba to the Dead Sea with a group of 8 girls from the Netherlands). Amazing food. Amazing experience. The manager and his brother really took the time to tell about their projects and to get to know us as well. They grow their own vegetables and do a lot of good for the community. Really open minded as well. Would definitely visit again!
