Well the park is beautiful but lack of maintenance and public miss using things, is soon going to ruin the park. At present it is good but not for long without maintenance.

If government/municipality board wants, then they can make this park a beautiful one... But, lack of maintenance is seen in this park which is situated just behind the historical Roja-Maidam.

This historic site known as Raja Maidam containing the graves of 2 Ahom Kings Swargadeo Kameswar Singha and Swargadeo Purandor Singha has been converted into a park. But now this park is in a deplorable condition due to the negligence of the concerned authorities. It is a pity to see this historic site in such a pathetic condition.

The existing maidam (vault) which lies on the south bank of River Tocklai on the northern side of Jorhat town is of the last Ahom king, Purandar Sinha, who expired on 1 October 1848. The present maidam was constructed to preserve the ashes of the last Ahom King Purandar Singha with a beautiful pond.

Very good place to get rid of Humpty Dumpty of chaotic Jorhat,it has maidam s or grave of Ahom King Swargadeu Purondor Singha and Kamaleswar Singha, Puronder Singha was the King under British Rule,কৰতলীয়া ৰজা । Infront of this Place Ranjan Bhawan located which is ancient and Historic related with The round table conference of Bapuji. Also the home of Famous Assamese Rock Singer Joy Baruah.

This is a historic place which has the graves of Ahom King's Swargadeu Purondor Singha and Kamaleswar Singha. The place isn't maintained and everything is in shambles... Including the pond which I think had a fountain once. Maybe it can be fixed and beautified which will serve the residents and some tourists alike.
