We were in the hotel today and had a very bad experience! First of all the swimming pool in the picture is not working and on top the manager of the hotel asked us to pay 150 US to eat our sandwich in the common area even though we asked permission before. Permission was granted and we were also buying the drinks. He said that permission should not have been granted and we end up paying otherwise he was not allowing us to go. Incredible!! Taking advantage of their guests and the fact that we don’t have much time to be able to discuss with him.

The room was very nice and clean, and I was pleased with the food at the hotel. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for renovations during my stay. The Wi-Fi could also have been better. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the region, it is definitely a good hotel, and overall it was a pleasant stay. I would still recommend it.

The manager is a tyrant and treats his customers terribly. I have stayed at this hotel several times and it used to work better. I hope they change the manager again soon. This way everything will go better at the hotel

Royal Palace Hotel is among the luxurious hotels in Juba. The only thing challenging is its location and a poor road going there.

My weekend getaway at the Royal Palace Hotel was a delightful mix of relaxation, unexpected encounters, and a healthy dose of amusement. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, with a stunning swimming pool that was the perfect spot to soak up the sun and sip on refreshing drinks. The cafeteria and bar did not disappoint either, offering a delicious variety of food and beverages to suit every taste. As for my friends, well, let's just say they were a bit more eager to dive into the fun than I was. While I was content to leisurely read the newspaper in the reception area, they seemed determined to make the most of their time by heading straight for the pool and indulging in their favorite bitter concoctions. It was a comical scene, to say the least, watching them sip their drinks like they were savoring the nectar of the gods. The highlight of my stay was the unexpected appearance of my friend Paul Malong. He used to work at the hotel, and I was surprised to see him there as a guest. While I'm sure he meant no harm, his presence added an element of awkwardness to our otherwise relaxing weekend. Overall, my weekend at the Royal Palace Hotel was a memorable experience. The hotel's luxurious amenities and friendly staff made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And while I may not have spent as much time with my friends as I had hoped, I'll always cherish the hilarious memories of our unexpected encounters and the delicious bitter drinks we enjoyed by the pool.
