Hands down my favourite hostel! I booked in for 5 nights and stayed for 6 weeks. The atmosphere is amazing, Grecia (the manager) really makes this place what is is. Excellent location!

I arrived on short notice and was welcomed in no problem. I made some mistakes with my booking and was surprised with how helpful Grecia was helping me sort out my accommodations. Bedroom has AC and the location is great - can't really ask for more than that.

If you want to stay in la Punta come here, no questions asked. The atmosphere is unparalleled especially with the great management (Grecia and Helge) and the friendly house cat pinky. 10/10 would do again!

I really enjoyed this hostel! Had a great time and loved the kitties running around. Very comfortable, awesome kitchen, great people, very chill vibes. Highly recommend

Had a nice stay at Palmera Rosa! Affordable accommodation, good WiFi, big kitchen, AC and friendly staff (especially Glenda!). A small place that feels more like staying at someones home with friends than in a hostel. Would def come back here :)

Very friendly environment, easy going vibes, Gracie that works there is very helpful and gives you the best tips for the town, I would come back again.

La palmera rosa is a very nice place to stay in at La Punta! Close to the beach and all the little cafés and shops! The atmosphere was super relaxed and friendly and the baby cat Puerto was the cutest! Totally recommend it!

beds are comfortable, shower is filthy disgusting and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Staff who checked us in was always smoking weed and no access to the a/c so you sleep at whatever temp management decides. Also, free drinks offered in exchange for good reviews so take anything written with a grain of salt. EDIT: glad to hear that more efforts will be made for cleanliness given that there regularly wasn’t any toilet paper and hair remained in the upstairs shower for days. Also, plainly untruthful regarding the drink. It is not free — the bartender literally said “if you give us a good review we will give you a vodka drink but you have to show me the review first.” Spend your money elsewhere.

Did not like the vibes. The kitchen is super filthy and it stinks. There are many volunteers but no socializing. Every morning someone was smoking weed and smelled so bad. Hated it. AC only works from 9pm - 9AM. 200 pesos deposit for a towel. Not worth the price.
