Fake listing. Don’t pay these inflated prices. The laguna/lake is found 20 minutes west of Puerto Escondido, you can see it on the map. Just drive there between sunset and 9:30pm and you’ll only pay 150 pesos to have a tour.

Beautiful location. We rented a kayak and paddled around the area for 2 hours. We could have easily spent longer. This is definitely a place for bird watchers to visit. We went early (8am) and by 10am it was getting pretty hot. There was not much wildlife to be seen other than birds, but the trees were gorgeous.

Chill place to paddle in boat 🚣‍♀️ around. We came here part of a tour package. After sunset, the mosquitoes 🦟 are brutal out here... it’s happy hour and our block is the mosquitos favorite cocktail.

The birdwatching tour in the lagoon was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Escondido. We used Manglar Tours. This is a special place

Did the bioluminescent lagoon tour for 700 pesos. This is one of only three biolumiscent lagoons in the world (the other two are in Puerto Rico and Indonesia)! Did not glow anywhere near as much as the photos show, but the sunset was nice.

Incredible experience, I highly recommend going on a boat tour in this lagoon to see the bioluminescence at its best. The plankton looked even better than in pictures if possible! Photos don't really do justice, you should go and experience the starry sky and starry waters yourself. Worth every peso.

Very easy walk in this park. You will be pressured to get guild, not necessary. buy Tickets ONLINE. If monkeys or sloth spotted there will enough looking up to know where they are. The guides will have telescope for you to see animals better and find the snakes and small creatures so not a bad idea to hire. They have closed restaurant in park so white faced monkeys not hanging out there. You can bring sandwich and water but NO plastic water bottles.
