The baked potato salad and the pasta salad with kale, sundried tomatoes and pesto are both worth the trip alone- but the sandwiches are tasty and priced right as well. The shaved ham and French dips are both excellent. If you’re looking for a comfort food sandwich and side- can’t really go wrong here.

I thought I had already rated this fabulous deli. It was a treat, of course we were asked where we were from as they know everyone who lives there. And our sandwich maker, probably an owner said, first time guests get a free cookie. Homemade teas and lemonade, delightfully beautiful little town, amazing food and the smiles of the employees made us feel welcome and appreciated. You just can't be happier with a random stop like that. I wish I had taken photos of the food. It was our favorite place to eat on our two week trip! I'm sure anything you choose is going to be wonderful.

Hey Danville, make time to stop by this local treasure! I got the CLUB (no turkey) and it was absolutely AMAZING! Huge portions and great prices at this little family business ! They're a small business too! Definitely a KY CBD Farmacy approved Danville MUNCH spot! Small business supporting small business!

Wow! This place was amazing, the food was delicious, the service was the best I've had in a very long time. Prices were so worth it. It was my very first time eating at this establishment. If you are in the area and looking for a great sandwich look no further, you found it. I had the #1 Big Daddy on wheat with a pickle spear and pasta salad and a very cold can of Coke Cola.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff and Kathy behind the counter today and they were so welcoming and explained a bit about what is on offer. I order a nice, simple BLT and vegetable beef soup. Fresh and delicious! This would also be a great stop on a road trip, etc, as you will walk away feeling fresher and more homemade than fast food.

Stopped in on the way through Danville. Have heard my Danville peeps talk about Melton’s for years. I had the #2. Don’t remember the name but it was basically a Club with country ham. Enjoyed every bite. Also had the potato and the pasta salad. Since it was my first time, they even threw in a cookie. Super friendly staff. Every town needs a Melton’s Deli!

I ordered two custom sandwiches, which included rye bread, miracle whip, pepper jack and colby cheese, as well as a chocolate and peanut butter pie. A pickle is included per sandwich, on the side. The food was delicious and is always fresh. The service is always great, as the employee are very friendly and welcoming. They push the extra mile to assure the best out of customer service, and focus on quality over quantity. The prices are also reasonable. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. Sometimes it can be difficult to find a parking spot, depending on when you visit. Though it's not a bad thing. It shows they get good business.

We LOVE this smalltown deli! We eat here whenever we are in the area for lunch. We've tried a lot on their menu, but I always go for the Double Hot Mammy! You have to try it. My husband is a fan of their Double Reuban. Everyone there is super friendly and make you feel like you are family.

It is NEVER a disappointment when I get Meltons for lunch. The simplistic style elevates the sandwich game to a new level. They stack on the ingredients in such a perfect way that comes thru when the flavors combine. Their sides are absolutely fantastic, from potato salad to their delicious kale salad, Melton's Deli is hands down the best sandwich stop in Danville!
