I'm sure it's not easy beginning a new transition every1 to 2 minutes during their work day. Thank you, West Melbourne USPS.

Whoever's in charge of actually putting mail in p. o. box slots gets 1 star. I get wrong people mail last 6 months in my box. And trees on the lot are so overgrown that are starting to scratch cars. Update: After 6 months I stopped sorting mail addressed to another person. They still loading up the mailbox. If that happens to other people's mailboxes that means that employee is wasting half day putting wrong mail in those mailboxes. This disservice also went up $30 in cost.

I was standing in line 15 minutes before they were closing at 12. My package was headed to a military member overseas and I realized I needed a customs form. As the lady called me I was filling it out and she says to me this is going to take too long and it is already 12. I told her I was in line well before 12 and that with 2 clerks taking care of customers, the line is not going that fast ( there were 6 people ahead of me at the time). I said to her I was about done filling it out because I am familiar with the form since I am prior military myself and I used to send packages to my spouse while deployed. She flat out said, you can come back on Monday. She was more concerned with closing the window than actually looking at the form and seeing that I was only sending 3 items. I have sent packages APO before and it does not take a long time to process how she made it seem. I can see why this post office has a 2.3 (very poor) rating. Although I live closer to this office, I will no longer use this location again.

After reading the terrible reviews on this post office location, I felt that I should share my very positive, first-time experience there this morning. My wait was minimal, the clerk greeted me professionally & with a big smile, answered all my questions & even reminded me I needed stamps (I love the "coffee" stamps she recommended)! I'll be sure to visit again when I have a postal need.

Went to this location to ship out product to a customer for my business new guy was working and ended up shipping it back to my home. Got in the car saw he shipped it to my address went back in another guy was behind the counter. The guy proceeded to me rude to me when I asked if he could check the package for me just saying it will go where you wrote the address to and began to argue with me. They go get the package see it was going to the wrong address which was my address. Then he makes me write over the label they printed out for the address I wanted to send it to and refused to redo the label. You shouldn’t have people working at the front that have anger problems and refuse to do their job. I’ll never go back to this location. My customer is now wondering why I shipped 500 dollar product to a different location. Do your job it literally relies on people like me.

Maybe others are rating their deliveries--BUT--- I am rating this Post Office as great!!! I drive from Palm Bay for the excellent service here & the friendly, caring workers behind the desks. Steven is exceptional as is another woman I can't remember her name though. These employees do their jobs by informing you of your best choice for what you are mailing & giving you choices!!! For anyone who thinks this place is bad--- try going to the one on Malabar & Jupiter--- and be unlucky enough to get Pam.... You will soon see what an unhappy, unfriendly, sarcastic person who does not like her job --or-- you asking a question is like!! LOL ----- But, it's upto you!!!

[UPDATE: Regarding my missing package, I was told they have no idea where the package got delivered to, and I'm sure the "investigation" with the carrier will go nowhere. They told me to file a claim, and I got denied because it wasn't insured. Very disappointing turn of events, I've never dealt with a mail carrier this bad before. ] Mail is consistently being delivered to the wrong address. My mail and packages will be marked delivered, and its nowhere to be seen. "Delivered in mailbox" yet my mailbox will be empty. This happens every time; I call after 2-3 days after getting through the phone-bot that can't tell the difference between Yes and No. I've only gotten an agent ONCE, I was lucky. The agent claims my package was delivered... uh, I wish it was. I clearly wouldn't be calling if it wasn't. A day or 2 later, some packages end up with our leasing office, the administrators saying "Were not sure why this other ladies getting your stuff, we think the carrier is being lazy because your address line is correct, and definitley isnt hers." Low and behold, thats whats been going on. The carrier is clearly not even reading the address line and it is concerning that this Post Office did not believe me. All I can hope is that they replace the carriers with someone who CAN and WANTS to do their job. Mail has the potential to have highly sensitive information. In the hands of the wrong individual could compromise someones private information & security. This is no joke.

Package delivery is extremely fast from this post office. I have had packages delivered within 2 days to the Northeast (USA). Postal workers, in general, really very patient and knowledgeable. Waits can be long in line, but it's a busy place at certain times of day.

This company is so inept, their employees don't even know what a vinyl record is. Sent a $300 limited edition vinyl box set via Media Mail, double boxed, and the incompetent employee tore it open with no care, was too uneducated to know what Vinyl is, and returned it. Luckily I knew how lazy USPS is and how much they damage their packages, so I double boxed it and it is okay. Going with FedEx after tearing into the unacceptable way they treated a limited $300+ box set. The new manager is completely worthless, I spend more time talking to her lackey because she is so busy all the time.

My experience was really bad!! I paid 138 dollars to send a box to spain and I was sending a cellphone for my sister, I told them about the phone in the box and they sent me the box back, now they said i have to pay again for the same box, is ridiculous

I don’t know why the ratings are so low. There was tape and pens available to the public and counter customer service was great. And my package was delivered! Beats the hell out of my local PO.

I always have such friendly service here. If there is a line it goes quickly. I’ve never seen the location not clean.

Was busy shortly after opening, an employee came out to help with the line by assisting with quick, non monetary, questions, forms, etc.

If I could give zero stars I would from the service I received today from worker Michael with the rose neck tattoo and gages at the West Melbourne location off of Minton Rd. He was extremely rude, condescending, unwilling to respectful resolve my issue, called me a liar, asked me to step aside so that he can help the next person in line when I hadn’t even been helped yet! When I asked if he could just finish the transaction with me so that I can leave he told me no, then he walked away saying “I’m not dealing with this!” I asked for his manager who helped me then asked him to come out to complete my transaction. Michael avoided eye contact with me the entire time and just shook his head making me feel extremely uncomfortable and upset.

Usually a line, but they go pretty quickly if nobody has anything weird going on. The clerks will suggest the cheapest way to send your letters/packages and also give you "upsell" options, so you can save money but they make sure you're aware of your choices. The automated machine is a little finicky at times, but works fine for a majority of items.

The local delivery drivers have changed some many times that I've been charged late fees on my credit cards this year. Not sure why so many changes but it has been the worst service ever. The best is the mote blocked mailbox. Usually on a Saturday when everyone is home. Not a happy person.
