Beautiful beach! Nice trail & clean walking trail. Many beautiful seashells. The rocks are very cool. Tranquility at its finest. It's free to visit but they appreciate a donation that goes towards the park. There is a lagoon across the road with trails as well. There are also outdoor showers to rinse the sand off.

Definitely a place to take a nice half day trip, the water is calm and the beach is big enough that you can have your own little isolated spot if you really want. No fee to enter, but 2 dollar donation per person recommended. They have free buckets for those looking to do the environment a bit of good by picking up trash on the beach as well and a info center with lots on conservation. Really beautiful park

Beautiful! Pristine beaches & Anastasia limestone (Come at high tide to see the blowing rocks!) Parking is limited, but first thing in the morning or around noon there seems to always be a few spots available. The entrance fee ($2/person) is currently waived, but they're still accepting donations. We'll definitely be coming back here!

Blowing Rock Preserve had been on my bucket list for a very long. Floridas weather was predicted to be a beautiful day with no rain in the forecast. It was Mother’s Day and I was afraid it may be a bit busy, and it WAS! Parking is extremely limited. Be prepared to keep circling until Someone leaves the preserve. They parking spots are very tight and most spots do not easily accommodate larger vehicles. (I drive a full size truck) The education center was closed which was Disappointing. The restroom was two portable toilets so go prior to arriving. Along their trails there are many information signs that tell a lot about what you will be exploring. The walkway is shaded and easily walked but I would not consider it handicap assessable by wheelchair by any means. Once you reach the beach you have very steep steps that you have to walk down to get to the beach the sand is very hot to be prepared. Once you get down the stairs you still have to walk down the beach on ways to see the rocks, But once you get to the rocks it is all worth it! The rocks are absolutely gorgeous with the crashing waves and make great backdrops for family photos. What’s the tide start coming in you will get wet so be prepared for that as well. There is a donation jar there and I believe it was requested two dollars per person which is more than generous for what you get for the area. So it’s very physical terrain to walk on, I didn’t see any wheelchair accessibility, lots of stairs, lots of hard walking and thick sand with uneven surface

Beautiful beach. Rocks were cool and the kids enjoyed exploring. Make sure to get there early. Parking lot is small. Wish the education center was open, but the boardwalk was nice. The trail along the beach was pretty. Overall great stop!

Blowing Rocks is truly breathtaking. Delight in the beauty of the beach, where waves crash against the rocks, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Depending on the tide, you might explore within the rocks or witness them submerged. The presence of a trail and beach adds versatility to this stunning natural haven. A must-visit for those seeking both coastal charm and scenic trails.

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Nature Conservancy's Blowing Rocks Preserve in Florida, and it was an absolutely breathtaking experience. This preserve is a hidden gem along the Florida coast, offering a stunning display of natural rock formations and beautiful ocean views. The high, limestone rocks against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean create a picturesque scene that is both unique and awe-inspiring. The preserve also offers well-maintained trails that make it easy to explore and appreciate the diverse flora and fauna. I was particularly impressed by the efforts to protect and conserve the area's natural beauty. The educational signs along the paths provide valuable insights into the local ecosystem and the importance of conservation. This place is a must-visit for nature lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic escape. The tranquility and beauty of Blowing Rocks Preserve truly make it a remarkable and memorable destination in Florida.

one of the most beautiful beaches I've been to. the sand was extremely hot and it was about to pour so I didn't stay long but will definitely go back. I sent pics to someone and they thought I was in a private resort with a private beach. very clean with beautiful water

I went to see the rocks but unfortunately we couldn’t because they said they been getting hit hard with sand so they were all covered maybe a little bit you can see but not much but overall is a very beautiful area, I did the little trail. It is very nice.

Beautiful! Love the shaded trails. Mangroves were awesome. Facilities were clean. The sand is HOT. Definitely will burn your feet. The rocks were awesome, great spot for pictures. Water was clear- perfect for snorkeling. Other than the lack of parking, the sand was the only downside, hot and not the best feeling. Very pretty beach.

Stunning! Amazing! Beautiful! Breathtaking! We got out here as soon as they opened the gates (9 am -beware walking through the mangroves first thing you will get attacked by mosquitos). The beach is so clean and so beautiful. I LOVE that the beaches here have buckets for you to grab and carry along the beach to help pick up trash. They offer turtle nesting walks at night (there is a fee and registration process for this). Very limited parking however there is another lot across the street where the bathrooms and research/learning center are located.

A truly unique Florida experience! I’ve lived in Florida for 20 years and visited a large number of state parks and preserves but this area really is something unique in our very low to sea level, flat state! There’s a lovely visitors center and Intracoastal boardwalk opposite the main beach entrance with informative displays and bathrooms. The short walk to the beach access leads to two sets of wooden stairs down to the beach and ocean. You can then walk along to the right to view the coral formations and appreciate the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. It was overcast and chilly the day of our visit but that just added to the wonder! There is disabled parking on both sides of the road and the trail to the beach is pretty even. To access the beach as I said there are steps to navigate and the sand is very soft so walking is challenging if you have mobility issues. Overall well worth a visit!

This place is majestic. When the tides are high the geyser like plumes can shoot up to 40 feet or so. The day we were there this is exactly how it was. It is a very unique experience. There are not a lot of places along the coasts where it’s not just your typical sandy beach. This isn’t a place to bring your beach canopy or chairs and lay out. It’s an experience like none other. Unfortunately sometimes the tides are low and don’t crash into the rocks and some visitors evaluate their experience off of that. When nature is right, this place is amazing. Check out downtown Jupiter while you’re here too. It’s worth the day trip.

Absolutely stunning. If you enjoy a walk back in time and feeling like you are on a different planet this is definitely a place for you . At high tide the water lapping and blowing through the rocks is amazing… have your camera ready! During low tide it is an adventure weaving in and out of crevasses climbing into cave like structures and seeing all the different rock formations. The water is a beautiful blue color and so clear plenty of places to snorkel and see beautiful fish 🐠 A+++++++++++

We had fun exploring! One side of the road has small building with information and displays, clean bathroom, small boardwalk, and a nice trail through the mangrove. The beach side is lovely, and taking pictures with the rocks at high tide was a treat. Parking is very tight, but we only waiting for about 10 minutes before one opened up.

Love this preserve! Sadly the rocks are not blowing currently (due to natural sand shift) but place is still pristine. Limited parking and limited hours of operation keep it crowd free. Great walk going north on beach! Pristine beauty of nature here. Go early to get your parking spot especially in high season. Enjoy this beautiful beach!

This place brings so much character to the Florida shoreline! The way that the surf has etched into the stone speaks to the majesty of it all. Watching sunrise here is amazing, however, the parking lots are not open until 9am so it requires walking from the closest parking lot at Coral Cove .6 miles south. Wear shoes to walk on the sharp rocks.

We were camping at Johnathon Dickinson State Park and this was one of the local attractions on our itinerary . It was a beautiful day, the ocean and rocks were picturesque and the family enjoyed themselves . I noticed there were several men fishing from the shore, so I imagine it’s a good fishing site as well. The beach was very clean and it wasn’t packed when we visited around 9a. It opens at 9a and that’s when I would suggest to visit because there is very limited parking. Great location! Very glad we visited.

Gorgeous doesn't begin to describe this beach and the cliffs! Every few feet brought new oohs and awes. The water was turquoise and thundered up through the cliffs. I didn't expect to find this coastline in FL. A very lovely trek!

Absolutely beautiful there. We explored the rocks and found some really cool shells. Parking is very limited, so if you are going plan on being there when they open.

Stunning cut hammocks along the beach Great nature walk Some of the rocks were hidden Under the sand because of the season, the ones that were exposed showed water spewing out of holes from the rocks It was a great place to hang out for a half a day

This entire area is so beautiful. The sand dunes which cover the coastal communities reveal a part of Florida that many of us are not used to seeing. Residents keep this area pristine. Sadly, the huge rocks were covered in sand during our visit, but still the area was worth a visit. Meandering on the dune is a worthwhile activity. Also, cross the street to visit the museum. Make sure to leave a donation.😊 Thank you for preserving this area!!

I’ve lived in central Florida for 17 years and never knew this beautiful gem existed until now. What a beautiful discovery! From the amazing short shaded hike to the rocks! Went during low tide so didn’t get to experience the “blowing rocks” but we were still able to capture some awesome photography above and below. If you’re not gonna get in the water, still bring your water shoes and at least one towel cause the rocks are tough to walk on and you can rinse your feet at the end of your journey.

What a beautiful place! The Blowing Rocks were a neat geological formation, and we enjoyed the nature trails. Bummed that the nature center is closed right now!

Beautiful place!!! A few notes: you won't be able to pull a wagon or a cooler. (There are steps up & down) Don't forget your umbrella or canopy! Bring water shoes for the rocks & beach, as the dry sand is incredibly HOT in July!! The rocks are quite a ways from the steps & the sand is very soft, so your calves will be working overtime. It truly is a beautiful place & the fact that there weren't a lot of people, perfection.

Beautiful beaches on the ocean and inlet side. I didn't realize the rode changed so much here. I went at low tide and didn't get to see the "blowing" off the rocks. Still a lovely beach. Found many cool shells. The trails are pretty short and easily walkable for me. I have difficulty walking. The educational center is "closed due to covid" still as of the end of March '22. This place is beautiful. As you walk to the beach down the nature trail, you are engulfed in nature. On the walk down, you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks. Once you get to the beach, it is an amazing sight with mesmerizing sounds. Walking/sitting on it takes your mind to a different, calm place. It's easy to forget you are in the craziness that is South Florida. Beautiful scenery in the rest of the preserve, too, but the beach is a must see.

Great place to visit. Nice wide, restored beach. Big dunes with great examples of native vegetation. Lots of educational signs along the pathways. One of very few rocky Florida coastlinens. Very small parking lot on beach side.

Great place! The big rocks are a random and fun thing to see in Florida. Clear blue water, lots of rocks. In my mind, I wish they were 20 feet tall, but they were 4-10 feet high!

Parking suuuuxxxxx but if you can find a spot, it's worth it. Big rocks and an awesome beach with clear water.

This was my 2nd time there. The beach was beautiful and clean. They have buckets you can use if you want to pick up any rubbish. Which people were. I had forgotten about all of the storms we've had, about 80 per cent of the rocks and caves were filled in with sand. Still, a beautiful day there and the trails across the street. Very pleasant.

Ok, so after so many beautiful pictures and great reviews I convinced my family to drive the 2 hours from home, we literally spent 10 minutes in this place!!! Parking is very limited, had to wait in line for a spot for almost one hour, you take a one minute walk (not hike like many say 🙄) thru the mangroves to the beach. This has to be the ugliest beach I have been to in Miami! And I have lived here for 35 years!! The water was too rough to get in, Noone in the water, no shade, dark sand and the rock formation looks better in the pics!! Not a place for little kids (or adults) not even surfers!!! What a disappointment this place was. Oh and that famous arch rock formation...well, there it is, with someone standing by it so you can get a better idea of how big it is.

  • 5/5 H.J. W. 11 months ago on Google
Great place! There were a bunch of waves, rocks everywhere, and a rumbling noise on the beach from all the surf that you can hear from the parking lot and the shore. Definitely will go back and see more!!?

This place is so beautiful. It’s serene, Peaceful, clean and the water is wonderful. I went during the weekday towards the end of closing but wish I arrived sooner. It wasn’t really crowded when I went which was also a plus. HIGHLY recommend!!

What a beautiful and amazing place! There is a short walk through the shaded woods to the beach where you enter what seems like a different planet. It's much different than any beach around here with its steep banks, dark sand and of course huge rock formations. The surf being blown out through the holes in the rocks is simply gorgeous and will soak you if you don't pay attention. The park is clean and well kept with informational signs , restrooms and an outdoor shower. It's definitely worth visiting.

This place is amazing. Very educational as well as relaxing. It’s advisable to wear a pair of sneakers since the ricks are a bit sharp. If you climb down under the rocks you will find the most beautiful sea shells. This are is known to have a very high content of salt water and I’ve been fortunate to of seen small whales. I’ve been told it’s a great place to dive and snorkel. Nice place to spend time with friends and family. You won’t be disappointed.😎
