This is a great place to stay! We got a great little suite with a kitchen on the second floor with a balcony facing the street and pretty views of the river from the living room, kitchen and one bedroom. Old timey with hardwood floors, transom windows and high ceilings but with mini-split heat and air units in the living room and bedrooms. The Sneakie Tiki is right in the middle of the two buildings and there are tons of shops and restaurants close by. The staff was super nice too. If I come back to Stuart I will definitely stay there again.

There is a reason this hotel had such outstanding rating - hands down the management and customer service! . I have never stayed somewhere so willing to work with my situation! They helped my grandparents with a last minute accommodation after being displaced from Hurricane Ian. They always had our best interest at heart and went above and beyond to make them comfortable. The facility is beautiful and well kept. Great place to stay with convenient parking but walkable to all of downtown when you don’t have transportation. Will be recommending to all family and friends. More affordable than most local airbnbs and with better accommodations. Thank you for all you do for your guests!

This is a magical, charming place to stay. Love the history of the inn and the cottages — also the care put into this place to keep it so special. The staff and owners are so courteous and welcoming. They really go above and beyond. I’ve been lucky to stay in both the main building and one of the cottages — both were wonderful experiences. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Quality soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. The location is really perfect and you can walk to everything in town, as well as stroll on the river walk. It’s now my go-to place when coming to Stuart and I recommend it to everyone!

From the second Steven greeted us, our experience has been fantastic. We haven’t even checked out yet and I’m reviewing. The up grade in a room he presented to us.what? Who does that anyway ?Just because. That’s a special kind of service. Everything is top notch. Location, the room and the bed, the shower. So appreciated! Thanks old Colorado Inn. We will be back.

5 stars just aren’t enough for this place! Hands down the best customer service ever! My husband is a disabled combat veteran and we were in the area for some doctors appts for him. His last appt ran way late and we were too tired to drive home. I made the easiest reservation ever and was very happy they offered veterans discounts. When we arrived Steve the owner saw my husband had a service dog and upgraded us to a cottage so that we wouldn’t have to go up the stairs and we would have access to outdoor space for his dog. This inn is in a great location lots of restaurants and shopping close by plus steps from the river walk. Highly recommend staying here.

I absolutely adore this Inn. It is the quintessential historic Florida spot, very special. The room was super comfy and had everything one can need. The location is perfect, everything is easily a walk away. The river walk is beautiful, the restaurants are excellent and the hospitality cannot be beat. I walked around a bit and the cottages look amazing. They also have a local Italian restaurant “Eighteen”, I found it too late and I wish I tried it! The Sneaki Teeki is so great and is at your doorstep if you wish, loved it. The Black Marlin is a stand out place. Maria’s Cafe, the Taco Shack, Duffy’s, Osciela Cafe (the best coffee), are all wonderful and a short walk away. The wifi at the Inn was great and I was easily able to do a 2 hour zoom meeting. Sitting on the veranda was relaxing, with morning coffee that was made in the room with the coffee machine provided. I slept like a log and the shower was hot and satisfying. The hotel is family owned and run and they are the coolest people. GOOD VIBES all around and I highly recommend ✌🏼

Great location, super clean, very charming and well appointed room. Steven was beyond welcoming. He upgraded our reservation to a quiet room not adjacent to his tenant Sneaki Tiki which was much appreciated as the popular outside bar gets busy in the evenings and has music. All the rooms are non smoking which is wonderful. Sadly, if you have neighbors below or beside who smoke on their porch (which is allowed) their smoke quickly becomes your smoke. Please consider making OCI ALL non smoking.....

We had to reschedule our visit last minute and they were exceptionally accommodating helping us change our dates. We stayed in room 11. The bed and bedding made it feel like we were sleeping on a cloud. I was nervous about noise from the sneaki teaki below, but the air conditioner white noise covered almost all the noise. The kitchenette was perfectly appointed and the bathroom was clean and had everything you need. We loved the location. Once we arrived, we didn’t get in the car again during our stay. Christopher and Stephen were warm and friendly and made our stay memorable. There were also chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten card on the table on our arrival. The whole visit felt personal. We would absolutely stay again!

Really loved this historic hotel and appreciate the TLC it must take to keep this gem as nice as it is. Yes, we were given fair notice about noise but still stayed in room #9 in too close proximity to the live music downstairs. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but the live music outside our window till 10pm was probably a bit too much for us and we will only request a future room away from the sound. But like I said, this issue was disclosed in the reservation and I have only myself to blame. Still, it was a wonderful hotel in a great location in downtown Stuart.

Stayed in the Oasis Suite for our anniversary staycation. From Mallory greeting us at the suite to Steven’s easy checkout process. Loved the stay, the location is awesome. Walking distance to restaurants, shop and more. Literally steps. Was able to get an early check in at last minute notice. We will back!

I loved my stay at the hotel and I’m already planning my next visit. I was greeted with a warm welcome and felt like I was visiting a friend. The suite was clean, spacious and comfy. The location can not be beat and is steps away from restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

I had the best time at Old Colorado Inn. We went there for a staycation and rented a cottage. Very clean and so cute 🥰. Customer service was the best.

I highly recommend The Old Colorado Inn! It is located in a great location in Stuart, easy to get to, surrounded by many excellent restaurants, close to the water and in walking distance of everything downtown. They provide reserved parking for guests so you can park your car and forget it, walk everywhere. There is a Tiki Bar attached for food and a night cap. When you arrive Steven and Ashley make you feel so welcome, I felt like family. Everything they do makes you feel so special, they are professional, accommodating and provide local information on food, attractions, where to go and what to do. The inn is meticulously cleaned and the kitchens are ready to go, our room had a full kitchen with a stove and oven, bathrooms stocked as well. I love that you get old fashioned brass room keys.,The beds are super comfortable and cord boxes on the night stand with USB jacks for your electronics, WiFi was strong and fast as well. It’s a great old inn with all the modern conveniences.

Would give this 10 stars if possible. ZERO complaints. Lovely family run inn literally in the heart of cute and walkable Stuart. Extremely clean, all new fixtures, paint, furnishings, etc. Will definitely be back!

The location is perfect and you can walk to anywhere in downtown Stuart. The room was cleaner than most commercial hotel rooms and service was great and friendly. They are dog friendly so we got to bring our pup downtown and to dinner which we loved. We would definitely stay here again!

We had our Honeymoon weekend in The Bermuda suite, The owner & staff went above & beyond. I forgot hairspray on my wedding day, and she gave me hers out of her purse. 5 star accommodations

What a wonderful stay! We stayed in the Tiki Room and it could not have been more perfect and quaint. We enjoyed our privacy in the garden area and the "secret" door to the Sneaky Tiki bar. It was close to everything, shops, restaurants, and Terra Fermata. I got a personalized tour of the room from the owner and he could not have been nicer and accommodating. It's a family run business and you can feel the care and pride they have in this hotel. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed a step back in time during my stay at the Old Colorado Inn , the building is a historic building that harkens back to old Florida architecture. And yet , it is blended with modern functionality very well. Its within walking distance of many cool little shops , restaurants and coffee. Just wish I would have had more time to enjoy it and the area.

Fantastic people running a beautiful place, in an amazing town. We stayed in a huge, ornate suite In a lovely historic house, which shared a beautiful pool and hot tub with the neighboring cottages. We walked the stunning riverside town of Stuart, where we dined and shopped. We will most definitely be back.

My fiancé and I booked a cottage here last minute and we are incredibly impressed! The cottage was charming, clean, and unique. We can’t even begin on how grateful we are for the experience — the level of hospitality that we received has made a significant impression on a very tough time in our lives! We will surely be back and thank you all!

My wife and I stayed at OCI for our anniversary weekend. We booked the Caribbean room. It was very clean and cozy. The entire staff was very friendly and inviting. Great access to tons of restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend! Hope to be back too!

Great place to relax, unwind and feel the beach vibe with everything downtown Stuart has to offer right outside your door. Live music and bar just downstairs and the inlet boardwalk 100 steps from the property. The host, Steven is easy to communicate with and a great host. It's more of an experience than a hotel. Go ahead and book if you're considering and enjoy!

Stayed at the Owl House. Incredible view of the St. Lucie River. The constant breeze rolling off the water was unbelievable. The boardwalk along the water just off the property was very convenient for an evening stroll. Within walking distance to several restaurants. We'll worth it. We had a great time.

This is a very charming place! My daughter and I booked a standard room. when we arrived, we'd been upgraded to a cottage. It was delightful! Great coastal, shabby chic furnishings. Welcoming front porch that we sat on in the evening. Beautiful landscaping and pool. The beds were incredibly comfortable with sumptuous linens. Check in and out was very easy. The location is great for walking to restaurants and shops. I highly recommend staying here.

Colorado Inn was a great place to stay, reasonable priced also. It was clean and spacious, It had a small bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining room. Great location right in town. The only thing is that if you want to sleep more then 2, the couch opens up but the main bedroom doors do not close and they are glass so there is no privacy at all. The bedroom is right across from where the couch would open up to a bed. This would be fine for a family with children but not adults. The staff was very friendly.
