My husband & I went for our 19 year wedding anniversary! {March 5, 2023} The food was superb. I haven’t had Chinese food this good since I lived in New York & Boston! I have been following the reviews of this place for 2 years!!! They did NOT disappoint!!! The service was AMAZING. I love the dinner date vibes. I recommend the Mai Tai to drink, Lobster & Shrimp dumplings, Chef’s Fried Rice & The crispy steak!!!!! It’s a 10 out of 10 for me!

We had a group of 5 when we visited. The service was amazing. We were always checked on and you could tell if you needed something, they were very prompt to help. For my course, I went with the crispy steak. This is by far, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The cashew crust added that extra crunch. The steak was cooked perfectly and pair nicely with the fried rice. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time when going out to eat.

Celebrated my parents 50th anniversary last night and everything was absolutely wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was lovely and the dishes were exquisite! Thanks to the staff and kitchen for such a beautiful evening.

What is there not to enjoy. Attention to detail and high quality food. Environment is enjoyable, old school which is why we were so fond of it. Staff was great, friendly and more importantly professional. Dessert was honestly to die for.

This place was amazing! I took my grandparents and they made us several items off menu to accommodate our vegan diet, and my grandmothers request. We would 100% go back!

We dined here this Saturday evening and this place is usually very busy. This is an upscale restaurant offering many dishes that ordinary Chinese restaurants don't have. We ordered the spring rolls, spicy fried rice, baby lamb chops, orange shrimp with Grand Marnier and strawberry shortcake cake for dessert. Everything was delicious! However, the fried rice was a little too spicy for my taste and the cake was a little bit too sweet. If you are looking for upscale Chinese food, give them a try!

Went last night 5/21 for dinner. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing. I had the spring roll which was the freshest, crispiest shrimp spring roll I have ever had. Then I had the duck with portobello mushrooms & asparagus. This dish was perfection. We shared the veggie fried rice and my other half had the NY style orange beef which was very good but needed more orange flavor. He they are going for quality, not quantity. It’s very expensive. $100.00 before tip for what I have listed. The menu is very limited as well. The price was worth it for the quality.

What a fabulous restaurant! Food was top notch. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but portions are large as they are meant to be shared family style. Every employee was genuinely friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend a visit here!

Worst food ever! I feel robbed! $70 worth of food that was utterly disappointing. $13 duck noodle soup with 2 small pieces of duck and half a pint of broth. Sesame chicken that was absolutely nothing like typical sesame chicken. It was thin sliced with vegetables in a brown sauce with some sesame seeds tossed on top for posterity. They gave me sweet & sour sauce and hot mustard but no noodles or anything so not sure what they were intended for. Super small portions that don’t make any sense given the price tag. Super confused as to how this place is as busy as it is. I’ll never dine in or get takeout here again. Caveat emptor!

The good: The food was ok but nothing worth the prices charged. The best I can say is the food was fresh and prepared to order but they definitely use MSG as I was blown up and feeling the effects before I even finished. The staff were all polite and tried to make your experience was pleasant. The bad: as mentioned they are pricey for what you get. However the Worst is they offered drinks without prices and charged a ridiculous amount for just a single shot of alcohol, which was not known until the check arrived. Then another surprise was a separate charge that was never disclosed on the menu or when making the reservation. They called it a ‘PST Tax’ and it was approx 6% of the check. They would not remove it or explain what is was for. I would never recommend to others

In the mood for some good Chinese and a drive one evening, I found us headed to #fortlauderdale for the low key strip mall famous Rainbow Palace. Located in the Oakland park area, this place has been a staple for years. It’s certainly not your corner No 1 Chinese restaurant take out kind of joint. With its opulent decor and white table cloth vibe, one can get the feeling as though they’re about to dine with an ancient family dynasty. Even though they were packed, a common theme from what I understand, we were sat at one of the more preferable tables thanks to the generous maître d’. The service was top notch for sure, but I was hoping the food matched the rest of the feel. Unfortunately it was not quite up to the same standards. A lot of heavy, slurried sauces accompanied everything. Having to go with their famous crispy steak (at the rec of several people) the first one came out well done. The next had a much better temp, but for a $65 price tag I was just hoping for a tad more. Overall a very fun experience, but for the total tab I can’t say a return is in order. I have lived in FTL for 15 years and never been - driven by here a million times - absolutely incredible 💫exquisite Chinese with superb service - our server had been there 20 years and took care of us like his own - recommend to anyone who wants something different and fantastic dishes

I don’t often go out for Chinese food but so glad my friend suggested this place. Sweet and sour chicken, vegetable lo mein, and bok Choy we’re also delicious. Also great service. And the place, love that it looks pretty much stuck in time, 1990s.

I got injured a few weeks ago, so I came in a wheelchair with a friend. There was one server outside talking to 2 customers leaving. We asked him if he could open the door. He replied aggressively “I am talking to customers!!!”. Apparently he couldn’t hold the door open for someone in a wheelchair and talk at the same time. We managed on our own to get in; made it to the bar. The bartender tells us we can’t be there, because the path needed to be open to servers. I get the second point, but the fact that the server was so rude in his tone and prioritized having a conversation, over holding a door open for someone in a wheelchair is the cherry on top. We left of course.

Of course, it’s my fault. When there is no price listed on the menu because it is “market,“ I should always ask. Sometimes I take the philosophy of, “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it” a little too far. But let’s face it. Although the service is truly outstanding, the food quality and the prices simply are not in sync with each other. The food was good, but definitely not fabulous enough to justify a $300 tab for 3 guests. It’s impossible to find 5 star Chinese food in Broward County. I thought this would be it. I guess I am just disappointed.

The service here is professional and perfect. Every morsel of food, every sauce, dessert, everything was perfect. We celebrated 3 birthdays at once and the graciousness of the staff, the lovely surroundings, and the delicious food will make this special occasion take its place in our history book. This is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I am also grateful that they had many gluten free options for me to enjoy.

Terrible food, slow service, rude management. I don't know what happened to this place because it used to be good. Not only did it take over an hour to get our food, but then they refused to replace a $65 crispy steak that was cooked Well Done instead of Medium Rare like we ordered it. I have been going there for years. I paid for it anyway but I won't ever be back.

I’ve driven by this place for many years and finally was invited to try it. What a great invitation to receive and what a fabulous experience I had. The food and all the flavors were unbelievably good and the service was beyond compare. Highly recommend you too, treat yourself to something unexpectedly great!

We had dinner there for the first time last night. We have been eating Chinese food for over 50 years together and this was a totally different experience. Nice ambiance, table cloths and beautiful plates and silverware, excellent service and amazing food. For this experience, please be prepared to spend at least between $100 - $ 200 for a couple. Everything is a la carte. There are no noodles, combination plates, spare ribs, shrimp with lobster sauce, etc. They had amazing lobster and shrimp dumplings for $5 each though. The only thing I really missed was enjoying noodles while we waited for our cocktails 😪.

The best chinese in south Florida by far. We have been several times to this place and it’s really a total MUST if you come to Florida. Not only the service is superb but the food is out of the planet. My favorites are: Lamb crispy ( you have to order in advance). Sirloin crispy Duck crispy. Vegetables sautéed Fried rice triple flavor. Fish with oyster sauce. Dumplings are the best starter. Squid Shrimp and calamari. Everything should be shared here. Big groups are the best because you can try almost every dish Totally worth the experience.
