My
girlfriend
and
I
recently
had
the
opportunity
to
stay
at
Hostel
404,
and
unfortunately,
we
must
express
our
disappointment
with
the
overall
experience.
From
the
moment
we
arrived,
it
was
evident
that
the
owner's
approach
to
hospitality
was
quite
robotic.
There
was
a
distinct
lack
of
empathy
and
flexibility
in
their
demeanor,
leaving
me
feeling
like
we
were
dealing
with
a
rule-following
automaton
rather
than
a
host.
It
became
apparent
that
their
focus
was
solely
on
enforcing
policies
rather
than
providing
a
welcoming
and
accommodating
environment
for
guests.
Throughout
our
stay,
interactions
with
the
owner
were
marked
by
a
notable
absence
of
understanding
and
compassion.
Any
requests
or
inquiries
were
met
with
a
rigid
adherence
to
the
rules,
without
any
attempt
to
find
solutions
or
provide
alternatives.
It
felt
as
though
we
were
being
treated
more
like
employees
than
paying
guests.
In
a
hostel
setting,
one
would
expect
the
owner
to
be
approachable,
open
to
suggestions,
and
willing
to
go
the
extra
mile
to
ensure
guests
have
a
positive
experience.
Unfortunately,
this
was
not
the
case
at
Hostel
404.
The
lack
of
warmth
and
genuine
concern
for
guests'
comfort
and
satisfaction
left
a
lasting
impression,
and
not
in
a
favorable
way.
While
the
facilities
and
location
of
the
hostel
may
have
their
merits,
the
service
provided
by
the
owner
ultimately
overshadowed
any
positive
aspects.
It
is
my
hope
that
the
management
takes
these
comments
to
heart
and
considers
reevaluating
their
approach
to
guest
relations.
In
conclusion,
our
stay
at
Hostel
404
was
marred
by
a
distinct
lack
of
hospitality,
empathy,
and
flexibility
on
the
part
of
the
owner.
We
sincerely
hope
that
future
guests
have
a
more
positive
experience,
and
that
the
management
takes
steps
to
improve
the
overall
service
quality.
