Super service, super place. The staff were very polite and helpful. Top service. Nice but also large. All in all a nice place to take a break.

Very delicious cakes and very reliable service

It is a cozy place to come and take a coffee, but I really didn't like the cake that I had. It tasted like nothing and prices are above average. Staff is good and it seems like a clean place.

Exactly the type of classic German konditorei I was hoping to find. They appear to be few and far between in Cologne! Waitresses in black with little aprons, delicious array of cakes and pastries and good coffee. They also do light snacks and sell beer and wine but I was desperate for café und kūchen and a slice of the delicious and seasonal plum cake with whipped cream plus a cup of unfancy coffee was just the ticket. Be aware that German cakes are not so sickly sweet as most of their British counterparts.

Great coffee shop/cafe close to the main shopping street. Old school but friendly table service, great coffee and lovely selection of freshly baked gateaus and pastries. A perfect spot for a relaxed break from shopping.

Nice coffee and cakes What annoyed me though is using the toilets and feeling like I have to pay.( there is always somebody sitting there with a plate with coins in) I go to a place in Germany be it a cafe or supermarket and it's always the same!! You spend money at a supermarket or in a cafe and yet they expect you to pay for the toilets when it should be free......!!!

Extremely moody toilet lady refused to talk with me about the 0,50 cents she herself required for a toilet visit when she got off some phone call. After trying my very best to talk in German, switching to English and nonverbal communication wasn't good enough for her either. I was just trying to ask whether I had to pay for the toilet if we paid for coffee upstairs. But there was no way she would talk to me and basically shood me away. The coffee was ok and at least the ladies upstairs in the cafe were helpful. But I got away from the cafe as soon as possible to avoid escalations from the toilet lady who obviously doesn't care about her own job and takes it out on goodwilling customers. I'll sit somewhere else next time, thanks.

A lovely place for a stop. Coffee, sweets or a meal. Service is nice too.

A bit of high priced, still great atmosphere.

Was hier auf dem Bild zu sehen ist hat 33,70€ gekostet. (2x Bauernfrühstück, 1 O-Saft 0,2L, 1 kleiner Cappuccino) Auf Nachfrage warum 1! Thunfisch Sandwich 11,70€ kostet wurde geantwortet, dass wir 2024 haben und alles in der Gastro teurer geworden ist. Das ist richtig! Vor allem jetzt wo die Mehrwertsteuer erhöht wurde bleibt nichts anderes übrig. Aber dafür war das Essen zu gering, solide, aber absolut nichts ausgewöhnliches. Nichts was meiner Meinung nach den Preis rechtfertigt, auch nicht in Köln. Außerdem.. wir haben 2024 und da kann man als großes Café keine Milch Alternativen anbieten? Noch nicht mal laktosefreie Milch? Das Konzept des Ladens leuchtet uns absolut nicht ein. Nein danke..
