Staff just stood around, chatting amongst themselves, and refused to serve or acknowledge us. Eventually I approached the counter to ask if we ordered there (in English). They seemed flustered, and told us we'll be seen at our table. Then we just sat there. After some fruitless eye contact and more nothing, we just left. Located right by the Köln Dom and you won't serve tourists, on one of the hottest days of the year? Their abysmal rating is justified.

Well, I was there once and a Brazilian girl was so kind with us, so lovely. I ordered two ice creams, and she recommended delicious flavours. I was living in japan and I'm used to eating ice cream sitting on the table, so I bought the ice cream and sat on the table in front of the shop. I was talking to my husband to ask for menu to order some dishes due to the lovely Brazilian girl who attended us, when I was looking for someone to ask for menu, a very rude person (with black beard , with strong accent) told us: hallo, hey you both cannot stay here, you have to go, take the ice cream and go . I felt so bad about that. and I just said okay sorry. He could just advise us that there was not allowed to sit because we had just ordered ice cream, kindly. But he was totally stupid and I didn't want to ask for the menu to him, so my husband and I went to the order place to eat. He was very stupid. I give 5 stars for the Brazilian girl and 0 for that stupid person. I believe that empathy and respect is the most important thing that a restaurant staffs needs to have.

Good place to get a coffee or scoop of ice cream with a view of the Dom. It's less popular so you have more space to yourself, with equally good views as other places. Many indoor seats available, as well as outdoor.

Cant sit outside when they have million free chairs even if you order ice cream or coffee. Seriously the worst place

Not far from the Cologne's Dom, this small ice cream place is a good option to stop for a coup of hot chocolate or a scoop of delicious ice cream. Not as crowded as other shops it was a great alternative. Service was not the best but the ice cream was worth the stop after a long morning walking around the downtown.

Very good menu for kids. My kids happy! For me milkshake looks good but with out taste…

Good coffee and decent service at this coffee/ ice cream store close to main hotels and the cathedral. I ordered a regular coffee here prices a bit high due to location. Coffee very good.

Really nice place right near to the klone cathedral. They serve ice creams, shakes, coffee and pastries. They have indoor and outdoor space. Service was good.my dessert was yummy. There was a variety of desserts to choose from. All the things on their were reasonably priced.

It was okay. The strawberry milkshake was very watery and tasted close to cough medicine. But the gelato was good on the cone. The staff didn't seem too friendly though. My husband ordered a milkshake and the guy said something and then just handed him the card machine. When we looked at the receipt afterwards he hadn't put the milkshake on. So my husband had to go stand in line again and order and this time the guy told him they were out of the flavor he wanted but was able to get a different flavor. I think the language barrier added to the situation but overall the guy was just rude and acted like he was annoyed to even be working.

Coffee was good, unfortunately not possible to pay by card under 10 euro's, so the coffee was a little high priced 🙁
