Gemütlich. Als Bar prima. Bei Konzerten ist das King George allerdings eine enge Angelegenheit, da der Tresen einen großen Teil des Raumes einnimmt. Zudem gibt es einen weiteren Stern Abzug für falsch angegebene Einlass Zeiten.

What a great little bar and venue. I went there to see Advance Base, ex Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. You know it's a good bar if that is their booking. Super friendly staff, great prices, though I had Becks. Should have had Kölsch. Anyway, music made up for it.

The new management changed the bar into a jazz venue. With great musicians and a nice atmosphere.

Nice place, but if you advertise to be a Jazz bar dont play house music

Sehr schöne Klubbar, in der ich einige unvergessliche Nächte erlebt habe. Ich habe mich hier ein bisschen mehr zu Hause gefühlt, als es noch kein Jazzclub war. Aber auch unter neuer Flagge gibt es im King Georg neben Jazzkonzerten diverse andere Veranstaltungen, z.B. Lesungen und DJ-Abende. Kürzlich habe ich hier zum eklektischen Mix von DJ Lars Eidinger getanzt und Spaß gehabt wie schon lange nicht mehr.

Nice place, good music, dance floor. Went on a Friday night, was kinda packed initially but got better as the night went by.

I attended there a live piano performance with a friend. The place is cozy and welcoming. I had some quality time.

Good small venue. Nice big bar. Load in not bad. I have put 1 star as the sound guy who was working there was very very rude to the band. Shouted at them, made them feel very unwelcome and was quite aggressive. I've forgotten his name or would post it here. My review is based on the attitude and demeanor of the soundman. I wish to never encounter this man again in my life. Not the best person to have dealing with artists or representing this great venue.

Coole Location und angenehme Atmosphäre. Etwas eng und kuschelig aber sonst einen (mehrere) Besuch wert.

If you have musicians like Kahil El Zabar on a regular basis there is not much else to achieve for a Jazz Club. Small, intimate, sexy, professional, cosy, my perfect place

A former brothel, now a bar. Very nice location for something to drink with friends.

Urgemütlich isses im King George! Wenn jetzt noch die Angestellten ein paar Jährchen älter wären.....n Traum! 👐 Aperol Spritz war leider nicht genießbar. Netterweise war er aber umtauschbar...🤪

Wir waren beim Konzert des Emil Brandqvist Trios im King Georg und fühlten uns direkt sehr wohl! Ein so guter Ort, um vom Alltag abzuschalten! Ich kann es nur empfehlen! ❤️

beware of the new monetization concept where they sell the first half of the concert separate from the second half of the concert. You don't get a full evening of entertainment, you get kicked out. Very customer unfriendly. Won't be back.
