This was the best of the bunch. We accidentally timed our visit with the FC Köln Vs Nantes pre-season friendly, and I'd dressed head to toe in black, unknowingly blending in with the Nantes fans. We sauntered in, and you could tell it was perhaps not what the staff were expecting. French lads shouting orders at the bar, ordering food then wandering off, all speaking over each other. I thought the staff did an unbelievable job in keeping it calm and moving, especially as the increase in frequency of pints being sank correlated to a decrease in patience of any slight delay to being served said pint. I nursed mine on a quiet table, watching to see as and when we should probably make a swift exit - a lad came in swigging a gigantic plastic bottle of what I presume was creme de menthe. I took it as my time to leave, walking past the police in riot gear suiting up around the corner. Good pub, good pints, good fun.

Visited during the world cup games and the pub was full! Still managed to get a lovely corner and food. Had the steak pie, chicken wings, nachos and the brownie. The brownie is a must, it tasted amazing.

Sehr gutes System wenn nicht eine Bedienung nur für bestimmte Tisch zuständig ist. Im vorderen Bereich waren drei Mädels ständig unterwegs und nahmen den Gästen sofort jeden Wunsch ab. Absolut Topp! Jamesons pub is a really nice place. They speak English, have imported beers and drinks, the home of the Guinness, and other yummy ones. The food is really super tasty and service is quick. Try the Nachos and the Jameson chicken bucket. They are simply yummy. And a candle light dinner is available too.

We came here because I wanted to surprise my sister with some British fish and chips. Those were really delicious. Of course the Guinness was perfect! The nachos we got were mediocre. I wish they would have been warm and on the bottom the chips were all messed up and they were just crumbs instead of actual chips. That was half of the whole plate. Nevertheless less we would come back for the really good fish and chips and the otherwise nice service and the nice atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I have visited before and had a great experience with the staff- a young, black haired woman and a young blonde guy. Came back today and were served by a middle aged brown haired lady that had no manners- asked for a small and a medium beer and she rudely said "Uuuuh, that's a 0.3 and a 0.5",and then told my partner off for accidentally sitting in an apparently closed part of the pub when there were no signs, and he had no way of knowing. There were also multiple white men in the pub loudly using the n word with no worries- I've worked in many pubs and do not think this is acceptable behaviour and should not be tolerated by staff, especially when it's so loud everyone can hear.

I am only giving 4 stars because of an incident we witnessed with a waitress and customer. Our waitress was inappropriately touched by a customer and she handles it extremely well. Went with a group of friends to have some drinks. It is a very big pub with a lot of ‘areas’ which is fun. However we were a bit in a hidden area so sometimes it took some time to order new drinks. But the staff was very kind! We visited on karaoke night and had a lot of fun. There are plenty of beer choices which was also nice.

Nice pub amidst pub street of Cologne. I was there during carnival and the had to wait in a queue for around 40 minutes before getting in. Price wise quite reasonable and the availability was decent.

A great Irish pub in the heart of Cologne, walking distance from the main station and it's only few minutes by metro, they have great drink options and also the food was good. I ordered wedges with guacamole and it was delicious. They have both outdoor and indoor areas, with multiple screens for sports. It's highly recommended to book a table for football games as it gets busy.

Jameson Distillery Pub Cologne is one of the best pubs to watch some great football. The staff is very great and they offer great service. If you are a tourist or new to the city, the pub has good English speaking staff that is very helpful. The food is delicious too -- especially the soup of the day. Julie who handles the pub is very good with her quality control and the staff also do the same. The new bartender was also very helpful. A must visit if you want to enjoy some good football in a typical pub.

The food selection was great and I took the mixed grill on the recommendation of the owner Vincent, it was excellent. They have a wide range of drinks in offer, one if us had to have the Guinness, but I tried the local Kolsch which was v. good. One if us wanted a non-alcoholic Weissbier and it was reportedly very nice too. Thoroughly recommended

It seems to have more scotch than quality Irish whiskey . The selection of Irish stouts and beers is limited. The fish and chips are good for Cologne, but not a patch on Irish pubs. However I have to say service is very friendly. They make an awesome Irish Stew, the outside terrace has plenty of space, and there is normally a great atmosphere going on inside on an evening. A great bar in Cologne, but please amp up the Irish side.
