Great site with a nice restaurant and beer garden. A good variety of camping areas, partly shaded by trees but also with good sun. It's much the same as it was when we were here over 25 years ago but the showers, wash rooms and toilets have had a very nice upgrade. Very quiet overnight just the gentle rumbling of the boat engines as the go by on the river Rhine and the occasional aircraft leaving Bonn airport. Overall, an excellent site for easy access to Koln (Cologne) by cycle, on foot or by bus.

Great campsite near to Colgne. We used it as a base to travel in, and worked well. Campsite is on the Rhine and we were lucky to have a pitch right on the front. Boats do go along all day and night but this did not bother us at all. Nice to watch them going by and not very loud. We do not take bikes with us so walked the 25/30 mins to the tram at Rodenkirchen,then on the way back we hired tier scooters from near the station. These can be dropped off right by the campsite and you hire using the app.

Spent only one night here in August as part of our Europe trip. We didn't have booking just showed up before 8pm and they got us a spot no problem. Facilities are super clean and nice. Fresh bakery in the morning and a nice shop for whatever you need. Very well managed camping.

Now have to go find a laundrymat to actually spin and dry them. Asked guy at reception if machines working properly. All he said was 'I donnt know Im not a mechanic'. So in other words, 'I dont care'. Said wait till Monday... huh! Went to have a shower in their facilities. Water sprayed everywhere except for the body. Ended up giving up and going back to the van to shower in our own facility. The camping grounds were not groomed, looked overdue for a mow. When we arrived the guy said theres no allocated spots, just find something. there was electricity cords running everywhere from people's vans... very dangerous especially when raining as it was... as a whole, this has to be one of the worst parks we have stayed in Europe to date.... Wont be coming back here again.

Good place for a rest stop. You can rent bicycles at the reception and store your own bicycle(s) in the garage overnight to ensure it's safe. It's a nice biking distance from the main city Cologne, you can ride alongside the river to enjoy the view.

We njoyed staying at this place. The price was good and the location in reference to the city was great.. The pastries and bread in the morning were great. There was no water connections so we had to walk a long way to get water. The showers and the water were free though so that was a positive.. The bathrooms were OK. They could have been a little cleaner. Overall it was a good stay.
