Absolut empfehlenswert! Spontan besuchten wir dieses Restaurant in Köln. Wir hatten einen wundervollen und herzlichen Service durch Miriam. The price for ramen is average, for poke bowl is slightly above average. But when it comes to the raw product I’d better pay few eur more for the exceptional quality rather than saving money and getting a suspicious quality of food. I recommend Daikan Izakaya!

Wir waren gestern spontan im Daikan zum Mittagessen und es hat hervorragend geschmeckt! Bestellt haben wir zu zweit: Wakame, Crazy Tuna Roll, Miso Aubergine und Tuna Sashimi. Der Service könnte an der einen oder anderen Stelle aufmerksamer sein, wir sind jedoch im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir noch einen Kaffee oder Tee trinken möchten. Hinsichtlich des Ambientes ist es meine persönliche Meinung, dass mir große Tafeln für 8-10 Personen zu groß und zu unprivat sind. Man kann sich nicht in Ruhe unterhalten und muss dem Gespräch des lauteren Nachbarn gezwungenermaßen lauschen. Für einen entspannten Abend zu zweit wäre es deshalb nichts für mich/uns, für ein kurzes Mittagessen aber durchaus ok!

Wir waren gestern Abend als Paar hier essen und es war sehr lecker. Die Ramen sind für mich die besten in Köln (tolle Brühe und perfekte Nudeln) und werden für mich nur übertroffen von Cocolo Ramen, was allerdings in Berlin ist. Der Service kam uns etwas überfordert vor, was wohl daran liegt, dass der Laden permanent voll besetzt ist und das beim Personal irgendwann Tribut fordert. Trotzdem sehr freundlich und angenehm. Etwas blöd war, dass wir ca. eine halbe Stunde draußen warten mussten bis wir einen Platz bekamen, obwohl uns gesagt wurde 10-15 Minuten. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir natürlich woanders hingehen können, so wartet man dann doch länger weil man nicht umsonst gewartet haben möchte. Was ich noch erwähnen wollte ist, dass die kompletten Frontscheiben von innen mit Kondenswasser bedeckt sind, was irgendwie auch nicht so richtig zum Ambiente beiträgt. Vielleicht kann man da noch nachjustieren mit der Belüftung oder so. Die Karaage waren etwas trocken aber lecker und die Edamame hervorragend. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und wir kommen gerne wieder und können jedem einen Besuch empfehlen der gute Ramen sucht.

Als nach mindestens 50 Minuten immernoch keine Suppe bei uns angekommen ist, haben wir unsere kleine Sushivorspeise und Getränke bezahlt und sind hungrig gegangen. The lunch menu was decent. Delicious and not too pricy. Drink was tasty too. I'm just curious why the food are lukewarm, not hot. The temperature of the food are a bit too low... When I come one on Monday afternoon, the smell in the restaurant was terrible. There was a strong odor like rotten meat when I enter the restaurant. And once in a while there are odors that resembles moldy refrigerator/ moldy toilet flow to our area. It was not so pleasant...Besides the air quality, and food temperature, everything else was good...

Really fun place to eat small dishes. They make great cocktails and other drinks. Food is very good and they have a lot of Asian dishes. Only critique would be their ramen, it is far too little and the broth flavor is not as deep.

The Spicy Miso Ramen was pretty good. The broth was very tasty and the noodles were delicious. Asked for extra hot water for our tea and just FYI you’ll be charge for a second tea so might as well get a new bag of Green Tea. 🍜 Service was average, the place is fairly small. The vibe was casual with young people just casually talking. Very laid back and you really don’t have to dress up for this spot.
