The entrance hall looks cool but that’s about it, the whole experience felt like a youth hostel and def not like a proper hotel of this price range. During check-in and check-out we didn’t feel welcomed at all, the trainee had a very cold vibe, when we approached her she told us “wait there, go stand back, one second” and just went on her computer for 10 min and we eventually went to another agent. What about “good morning sir, I’m not able to assist you at the moment but my colleagues will be happy to help you?” How is this behavior normal for a trainee? Our rooms were really dirty, all the walls need a paintjob, all of their furniture is stained (even in the lobby) and should’ve been replaced years ago (I’ve read in 1 year old reviews about the stains), mold in shower, lots of dust in the toilet. When I was on the toilet, and my partner was still sleeping the cleaning staff knocked and IMMEDIATELY opened our door, at 9.30 am, this was insane to burst into our privacy like that, never in my life I had this experience. Our shower was completely clogged, the water wouldn’t run away and ran immediately over the edge which was a disaster to wake up like this. When we asked if we could at least get a free breakfast to be compensated in this way, they made us wait again and never came back to us again. As a guest you’d expect they keep some room in the restaurant for guests but this was fully booked so again you felt unwelcome, same thing in the Rooftop Bar, unfriendly staff that doesn’t make you feel welcome. Their rooftop bar is full of stained furniture, I would be ashamed to have guests if my house looked like that. The worst thing is their gaslighting style of answering on their reviews instead of really doing something with it. ‘we’re sorry if you felt this way’ ‘we hope you give us a second chance one time soon’ ‘we will do our best to improve’… the mismanagement of this hotel is incredible. Please don’t reply to me this type of response Marco and instead get your rooms painted and furniture replaced.

I must admit, I don't belong to the generation this hotel is geared towards, the millennials and the upcoming generation Z, once they get all that is needed to stay and live in this place. I find the rooms "cool" but in the wrong way; there is a small tabouret to sit on, not even a chair on which you can read or work. That has to be done in the multifunctional lobby, that has many features from previous generations like mechanical Olivetti typewriters that actually function and books on famous photographers mostly of the past, all to remind the guests of generational separation and how they were abandoned by their career oriented parents. There is no real intimacy in the rooms, although you may alter the angle of the mechanical blind separating the hygien block from the rest of the room, to allow the other person to take his/her shower the way she likes it. I mostly travel with one of my children so some intimacy is important. The bed and the shower were otherwise good. And of course there is no shoehorn, the target guests have no difficulties bending over. Breakfast is served in the Neni restaurant on the top floor with a magnificent view over the city of Köln, not really all that beautiful in itself. The quality of the breakfast does not really match the quality of the view.

I'm a fan. Very stylish hotel and rooms. A little quirky. The lobby is always fun to visit. The service was great, both at reception as at the breakfast. Breakfast by the way some of the best hotel buffet you will find (my photos do not do it justice, I missed the warm buffet completely). Helps, of course, that it's in a great location on the 8th floor. The sauna is also quite nice. Definitely recommended.

I was here for one night on a business trip. The stay pretty much matched my previous experiences in other 25hours hotel in Berlin and Hamburg. Very modern and unique design, the rooms are rather small but very neat, providing everything one needs for a short stay, including a Bluetooth speaker and a free mini-bar in the room. A definite highlight is the monkey bar and the rooftop restaurant on the eighth floor both offering inside and outside seating. The restaurant is also where you have breakfast in the morning. I definitely enjoyed my stay and will surely be back.

Apart from the arrogant non custom friendly and “do anything to give you as customer a bad feeling” whit her non customer oriented really annoying and rude girl (with a variety of hair color, so that we know we’re talking about the right one) at the reception that worked at 26 aug 2020 from the afternoon until late. Everything is and was excellent and far above expectation related to the price quality ratio. Without any doubt this is a really guest friendly hotel. They thought about really everything to make your stay aswell as pleasant as excellent and comfy. From a free professional photo camera, electric car (up to 4hrs), bicycle and more service providing goods to borrow (for free). Up to the complementary drinks, chocolates and chips of the house in the refrigerator. There is also a matras exchange topper service if you prefer a soft matras instead of the one that’s standard equipped in the room. The hotel has as very trendy and hipster interior that underscores a warm feeling hotel. The hotel room is decorated eco friendly (materials and smart use of products -sustainable in every way) and warm modern. The internet free and extreme fast. And the prices in the bar are competitive for a real Good barista cup of coffee and a fresh sandwich. Ending this review; the Hygiene is good apart from some dust at the desk. In resume. When visiting Koln and need a place to sleep. Whit out any doubt this is one of the best places to stay certainly if you can see trough the attitude of the receptionist!! Score 9,5 out of 10

The 25hours Hotel in Cologne is a true gem, earning a solid 5-star rating. From its excellent location and fabulous design to the spacious, clean rooms, every aspect impresses. Fair prices, coupled with the friendliness of the staff, enhance the overall experience, solidifying its place as one of my favorite hotels.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at 25 Hours Hotel, and I couldn't have been more delighted with the exceptional service provided by one of the staff members Mr. Satinder Sandhu. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile by him. His genuine enthusiasm and happiness were immediately evident and set a positive tone for my entire stay.

The breakfast on the 8th floor is fantastic, also the view, especially the coffee. The staff is super friendly, and the hotel building and room decor are beautiful. The only downside I had was that the staff paused to smoke right outside my room window, so I couldn't open the window during my stay. The air conditioning worked well enough that it wasn't too hot. It was annoying to have to keep the curtains closed all day because there was a construction site right next door. Overall, the design and decor of the room is very nice, but it could have been cleaned better. There were many stains on the sofa and the floor. However, the floors are hardwood or tile, which is great for people with carpet allergies.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the rooftop bar at the 24 Hour Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. The interior had a cool and stylish vibe, while the view from the rooftop was simply amazing. The drinks were delicious, and our friendly waitress provided excellent suggestions, eliminating the need for a menu. We highly recommend this rooftop bar for a memorable evening.

After years of staying in the cheapest hotels around the world this was one of our first grown up hotels. Check in was easy, the place looks great and the beds are comfy. Our room had a really great shower that I could easily still be in now. Also check out the rooftop bar for tasty cocktails in the evening.

I really enjoyed staying in this Hotel! Perfect location, near to the center city of Cologne with a parking lot. The room has everything you need, it is exactly as shown in the photos. The breakfast they offer was delicious, it's an all you can eat concept and you pay 24 EUR per person. Beautiful views from the restaurant. If you go with your pet you should pay EUR 20 extra per day. The room service is not good, the restaurant never answer me. Friendly staff.

Room is very spacious, full of surprises. I love it. Reception area is also very cool. I like that minibar in the room is free of charge. Really good thinking. I think you need to improve buffet breakfast better due to corona. I will give feedback to your reception

I have stayed at the circle once a year for the last 5 or so years, and we have always enjoyed the hotel, Neni and monkey bar Location is great for exploring cologne and easy to get to Kolonmese The staff is good as always, but unfortunately the hotel itself starting to show its age and needs some reinvestment and I am not sure we’d return next year This trip we had 5 rooms in the hotel and I booked the extra large room, which is generous in size and very comfortable for our 3 night stay. Unfortunately the the seating in the room was stained as was the hallway carpet throughout the hotel The extra large room also comes with a private bicycle to use, but both tires were flat Hopefully 25 hours will spend some money to freshen up the rooms and public spaces and bring her back to standard

I absolutely loved this hotel, very nice, well designed and definitely very hipster/urban style. The atmosphere is very nice, it seems to be in some sort of vintage but yet modern video game. The rooms are spacious and clean, the shower is behind the bed and you can chose to "show" yourself or close the blind and have a bit more privacy. I absolutely higly suggest the breakfast. A lot of choices, almost everything you can think of, freshly preapared and cooked at the moment. Vegan and veggi option also available. Highly recommended.

Really fun, cool, comfortable and trendy hotel near the centre of cologne. Rooms were big and nicely decorated and there are cool features like letter-writing in the main reception area. Rooftop bar has lovely views of the city. Room came with a free mini fridge with beers, ice tea, cola and food. Staff very nice and efficient. Had a great stay and will look for other 25hours hotels across Europe

The hotel has a very nice spot in the city. The bed is very comfy and the service is ok. It lacks toiletries and seats in the room. The room can be considered very small for the price you paid. The breakfast is very good! In general, the environment of the hotel is very nice, and the view of the room was great!

Do not go here, the property is in a middle of a construction site, the rooms apparently are not well-equipped and become a health hazard. Any other hotel in Cologne is a better choice at this price point. I was staying in the extra large room. Upon arrival, the bath tub broke, and I burned my hands and got injured. The staff was friendly but not helpful. The boiling hot water and exploding water pipe hit my face. The receptionist downgraded me to a smaller room with a view of the dumpsters, not offering any aid. The next morning, staff told me they just had started working there, and could not respond to this case. I contacted the hotel management via email, no response.

Only stay in this hotel if you don’t want to sleep. Either you are woken by the building noise on either side of the hotel or the cleaning staff starting to vacuum before 9am on a Sunday. After the first night we asked to move rooms due to building noise which meant we didn’t have a room for a whole day only to be told to have a quieter room we need to downgrade. We then had a room right infront of the elevator which meant we heard everyone coming home after a long night. You also can’t open the windows as drunken people are screaming infront of the hotel.

Really, thanks to Mr Satinder Singh , He did fantastic super, super friendly service for us. Restaurant was full ,but he works continue with his smile. We had a really good time with him. The hotel is a stylish interior. You can feel that the designers worked hard on every part of the interior. Also very friendly staff, great roof bar and restaurant with a view of the cathedral

Wonderful hotel close to the city center with cosy, nicely decorated rooms. The drinks in the minibar in the room are free, but the minibar itself doesn't cool properly so everything you put in there stays the same temperature.

On the first morning around 8am someone from the cleaning staff burst into my room which had a do not disturb sign on the door without knocking or anything. I stated that I did not want service today or at any point during my stay. The same thing happened yet again at around 10am. On the second morning I left my hotel room with with the do not disturb sign on my door. When I returned the room had been serviced and one of the windows was left wide open. I travel full time for work so knowing someone was in my room without my consent is not ideal. I told the front desk staff about the incident which they apologized for. I was assured they wouldn’t enter my room again with a do not disturb sign on the door, which is really frustrating since the *exact* same thing happened again the next day. On the third morning around 11am while getting dressed I had someone from the cleaning staff burst into my room with a do not disturb sign on the door without knocking again. He stated that I needed to be out of the room by 11:30. I confirmed a 12pm check out time with the from desk staff shortly after. I usually spent around 300 days out of the year in hotel. I’ve had similar incidents before but never three days in a row/ multiple incidents in the same day. Really disappointing experience overall.

The hotel is modern and fun while also offering excellent facilities and services - the sauna and free mini-bar in particular. We also enjoyed cocktails and the view from the rooftop bar. Well located for walking to the Belgian quarter, but also into the centre or up to Ehrenfeld.

Did not actually spent the night at the hotel, we were there for the Monkey Bar, on the rooftop. But the hotel lobby surprised us all immediately, what a different and nice decoration :) Very creative and full of interesting products. The elevator is also really pretty and unique! There are private parking in the area and the location is good too, quiet street, but right in the city center.

Have stayed at this hotel on a couple of occasions for business trips. Has a quirky vibe and I love the fact it’s a bit different. Rooms are comfortable and staff are very helpful. Definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a hotel in Cologne!

Cool hotel, nice for a working vacation. Lobby has eclectic, music/pop culture centric decor. Rooms are well lit and clean, but temperature control was a bit difficult—very chilly for November.

The hotel 🏨 have two different places on the rooftop including the hotel itself is very picky about details. Here some of images that reflect my experience. The restaurant was very good in all aspects even the food 🥘 was totally Arabic style food

Very unique and fun! Loved my stay in a Medium Outer circle room which has a nice view of The Dom. The architecture of the hotel is so interesting. The free minibar was nice as well!

This hotel has a great concept with a funky interior, spacious rooms, trendy bar and a great restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, in a casual atmosphere. Don’t expect them to “Sie” you, and that fits with the concept. There is a co-working area opposite the reception, with a great coffee bar and a super-friendly young lady running the show. The rooms are very nice, but unfortunately not very clean. Bring your slippers - the material chosen for floor (matt tiles and wood) are apparently very difficult to keep clean. During C19 there is no cleaning service but the reception will send fresh towels and other amenities. The location is perfect, easy parking, and walking distance to bars and shopping. We would have rated the hotel 5 stars had it not been for the dirty floor.

Sauna opens at 17:00 till 23:00, sharp at 17:00 we asked to go to the sauna, there were already no more places available, they would contact us during the evening if something became available and we have never heard from them again for the whole evening! Super bad service, making promises and not delivering! We asked multiple times for this feature but other hotel guests don't get an ‘end time’, so we don't even get the chance to go yet. There is NO system at all, didn’t get any refund. Didn't meet our expectations for the high price you pay.

Hotel is nice and unique, great location. An issue that continues to piss me off is the cleaning service not knocking on the door before entering the room. It was 30 minutes before the checkout time. I reported this to the hotel reception and I felt ignored. Nothing was said to acknowledge that this is a problem.

If you can check in from 15.00h on, I expect the rooms to be clean then. We arrived at 16.20h and the room wasn’t ready. Also the Airplay function didn’t work on the tv which meant holding my phone to watch a movie all night. We called to the reception about it and they were not bothered. It didn’t work for no one they said. They didn’t even tried to repare it. And there were stains on all the chairs and the sofa in the room. For €188 per night I expect way more!

Beautiful place & wonderful staff!! On that note, thank you dear Anika from the front desk for all your patience with me in finding the perfect room for me.. from 714, to 529 and then 404 🙏😉. And thank you dear Bujar for your kindness, good mood and morning smiles whenever I got my weird Bulletproof coffee in the morning ☀️😂✌️. A place can only be so beautiful, but what makes a place special and welcoming are the people behind it. Keep up the good vibes! ❤️

Very nice 25hours standard. Cool astronauts style interiors. The building is a few decades old but 25hrs created a great place to sleep and work. It feels like 60s mission to moon. Top: runners corner and bike rental

Amazing hotel representing the 25 hours brand with style. Alexia from the front desk is a legend and helped solve all my random requests including finding a taxi who would allow a dog. Sauna area is SO nice, spacious and well designed. Monkey bar is damn good and makes delicious cocktails. Hard to fault this epic hotel in any way.

Loved it! The room was spacious enough and had a great view of the city. The mini bar with chocolate and beer was such an unexpected treat. The staff were super friendly and the overall design was so amazing. I loved the décor and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cannot say enough great things about this chain of hotels. My husband and I recently stayed in Cologne as a stop over on our European Honeymoon vacation and 25hours gave us such a special stay. We walked into our room to a bunch of heart confetti, along with hearts on the bed made from confetti, love stickers, and love notes drawn on all of the mirrors. We also had a very lovely handwritten note from the staff congratulating us on our honeymoon, which was such a personal and touching surprise. This really made us feel special as this was our first hotel stay on our trip and it was such a great way to start the experience. Aside from this, the hotel is unique, funky, charming, creative, clean, and all around just a fun place to be. The view from the rooms is of the top of the gorgeous Cologne cathedral, which is a lovely surprise when you pop your head out your window. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the train station but this was easy for us to walk, and was very easy to find by Google Maps. Only a few blocks away is a busy street filled with shops and restaurants, but you wouldn't know that by staying at this hotel as the street its on is very quiet. The beds are very comfortable and offer a variety of pillows, and the shower was amazing. We got inspiration for our own bathroom back home when we eventually renovate. Another great thing is a separate room for the toilet which can be helpful in a smaller hotel room. The room size was actually very generous considering some of the apartments we had previously stayed at in Paris or London, and didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. Another great thing is that the bathroom and bedroom are all in one room but you don't feel like they are with how the hotel has situated things and put up barriers without creating walls. The lobby is filled with quirky decor, as is the rest of the hotel. There is a neat shop where you can purchase any of the products you find in your room along with a bunch of other unique finds. They also have a place to listen to records and cassettes, a bunch of typewriters and stamps to create handwritten letters, as well as some really funky collaborative work spaces. Your room comes equipped with a portable bluetooth speaker that you're encouraged to use and Minibars in your room are all inclusive with a variety of non-alcoholic options, and each hotel has a really funky bar and restaurant. This chain also heavily promotes conservation of water and energy, and seems to have found the perfect touches for everything. Can't say enough good things about this hotel, and the chain in general. We can't wait to stay at another one on our next adventure and really hope to see more chains open up in North America (specifically Canada!)

Great hotel, beautiful lobby, the rooftop bar is great with tasty cocktails and bites. Try the mango curry hummus. The rooms are nice with good beds and everything is very clean. We rented a few bikes, nive to have that option. The only dissapointment was breakfast, 24 euros. I expect more options, especialy as a vegan it was quite boring and there are a few choices. The staff was very friendly.

My experience in this hotel was perfect. The rooms are very spacious and the windows face the bed so the sunlight helps so much in waking you up in a really refreshing and natural way. The location is amazing as the cathedral is only a 7 minute walk. The theme of the hotel is very interesting and the breakfast is incredible with so many choices. And the best part of it is the people who work there. Specifically TOM!!!! He was extremely useful in helping me with all my needs especially in assisting me when I had trouble getting my delayed luggage from the airport. He always had a smile on his face and was extra helpful and friendly. He was really the main reason I was motivated to write this review and not only that, but I definitely want to come back next year, and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again. I can't imagine picking another place. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here!

Amazing place and wonderful theme! However we were disappointed with the bar. We went when they had specials on cocktails. They were using a Mexican liqueur. It was soooo horrible! And they wouldn’t make us a drink that we would like. As they were only doing the specials.€12.50 for a cocktail was crazy!

Excellent hotel to go to when you are in Köln. Very nice building with beautiful large rooms with everything in it (even plants and Bluetooth speaker). In the lobby you can find a selection of books and magazines, a small shop with even records, a table tennis table, a workspace with bar etc. On the top floor a bar and a restaurant can be found with beautiful view. In the restaurant you can also have breakfast (one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had). Hotel is in a quiet street a street away from the centre, clubs and bars. I'm a 25hours Hotel fan.

So much to love about this place! Yeah, it looks cool and all, but what really impressed me was how much thought went into the little things that make your stay better, like the really good Bluetooth speaker in the room, the fact that you can cast from your phone to the TV or that room service brings you a yoga mat to your room. Only dampener is that the F&B department doesn't seem to be on par. Breakfast was below average. Dried up, overcooked eggs, bitter, burnt coffee and cheeses and meats that looked like they were just taken out of the Aldi packaging. Oh, not to forget, staff were lovely and most helpful throughout the whole experience. Thanks for a great stay!!

Very good hotel! When we visit Germany we always look for a stay at the 25h hotels. However do check the “extra” door in your room that could be used to connect two rooms. Sometimes they are open… so the other guests can just walk in.

Great location for a weekend getaway! 15 min walk to city centre and 5 min walk to the Belgisch Viertal which has the best restaurants, bars and shops. The theme of the hotel is very cool, loved it all. Only side note: Currently there is a lot of construction around the hotel which caused a lot of noise, even in the early mornings.

I stayed at the hotel over the weekend with my boyfriend. The Hotel is really nice and in a great location. Mostly I just wanted to thank Jelena for her outstanding service! I took a shower and didn't realize the water over flowed onto the carpet, she came in like a boss and not only dried the water on the floor but also went underneath the bed. She's really amazing. She changed our sheets and got us extra towels. I really appreciate her taking such good care of us and will definitely be back because of her. She's a rock star.
